After looking at the tire Mike told me that it could not be patched and needed to be replaced. Of course he put the fear of God in me when I said that I wasn't prepared to replace the tire and asked to just add air to it, he said that I could have a blowout any second. After some discussion, I reluctantly agreed to purchasing 2 new tires. I had recently purchased all 4 Michelin tires from Seaside and asked if they would offer an adjustment for the replacement. Mike said "Did I cause you to get the nail in it?" I also asked if he would apply a loyalty discount because I had previously received that, he said NO! So, he had to order the tires and told me that it would be ready the next afternoon. When I returned to pick up and pay the $550+ I told him that I would not be back because of his ugly attitude. He took me right away and had the tire off like a NASCAR pit crew. He put the tire on the machine and couldn't find anything. Then he took the tire off and inspected the inside. He still couldn't find anything but he said that there was corrosion on the rim. He proceeded to wirebrush the entire rim on both sides. When he was done he put it all back together, and reinstalled it. I don't think I was there more than 20 minutes. After all that he only charged me $20. The best part?
