My daughter and I were headed to Columbus for a pediatric cancer event. This was the first time she drove since her surgery and I figured it was a straight shot on a nice day and would be a great way to ease her back into driving.
As we were headed on 77, there was a Ladder in the middle of the highway and as luck would have it, we were boxed in with cars on either side of us. She did exactly what she should have done and drove straight over it instead of swerving and we avoided a potentially terrible accident as the ladder flew to the side of the highway. Immediately we heard rattling. I saw the truck with the ladder on the side of the road and tried to take a picture of the license plate but missed....I was worried we would be leaking something so we picked the Larry's as it was 3 miles off the highway. We held our breath if we would make it.
Larry was there working with a tow truck. He was so kind and told us when he was done he would look at our car. Long story short, the metal from the ladder somehow wrapped itself around the axel of the car. Larry was able to remove it and he only charged me $20 for his time.
He was so kind and caring and made sure to tell my daughter she did everything right. He mentioned that the reason he does what he does is to help people who need it. And wow did we need him. Highly recommended based on his kindness and temperament, his amazing knowledge about cars and his ability to fix us back up and get us back on the road. read more
