What really struck me was that every step along the way, from diagnostics to solving the problem, was quickly and easily communicated to me by phone! I would get these awesome little text updates with links where I could see what was being done, and I could make the decision on what to do next! Now this is what technology should be used for! So impressive! They also gave me a call to update me and go over everything, so it's sort of the best of both worlds - excellent use of technology by a staff that actually cares! The price was absolutely reasonable, the process was easy and clear, & and I could not be more happy with the QUALITY work they did. Thank you, Chris!

Simply put, Auto & Tire Automotive Service Center is a reliable and friendly place to get your…read morebreaks repaired. Tim and Dave are honest and down to earth. I highly recommend their service. While on a trip from Chicago to New Jersey for a family wedding, the breaks on our 2013 Toyota Sienna began making a sound when used. My wife and 3 kids were already antsy about the drive, this breaks issue made them more anxious and annoyed. Not knowing the reliable service locations in the area, I put the word "breaks" in Google. We went to Meineke, a franchise name I recognized. They quoted us $600+ for new front breaks and rotors. That seemed pricey. We left and called a few other locations on the Google list. One service location we called was very busy and said they could fit us in for the following day. We couldn't wait that long as we had to be at a wedding in NJ that next day. When we called Tire & Wheel Automotive Service Center, Tim picked up, listened to our predicament and offered to help in an expedited manner. We brought the van in, showed him the Meineke quote and Tim immediately quoted us $100 less and said that they'd be able to expedite our repair due to our schedule/need. While in the waiting area, we met Dave, a low key stand up comedian, who made every effort to make our family us comfortable, including changing TV channels and making great small talk. Both Tim and Dave are so down to earth, kind, and friendly people. As an example, during the wait for the repair to be completed a guy with a mobile food business pulled up to the repair shop and sold some food to the employees. My kids went out to buy some snacks and drinks, but when they tried to pay, Tim wouldn't let them, he paid for my kids. I couldn't believe how lucky we were to meet such friendly, generous, and honorable people. Our brakes were repaired in less than 2 hours and we were on the road a little while later. The repair shop also had a way to finance the repair via a 3rd party company called Snap. We were grateful to be able to have the option to finance the cost of repair, as we didn't budget break replacements in our trip budget. The financing part took some time to go through, due to the Snap company's lack of timely customer service, Dave and Tim did everything on their end to make the transaction go through, and it finally did work. On the way back from the wedding we made sure to stop by and bring the guys some Kristy Kreme donuts as a thank you for their k service and kindness.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We brought our 2019 Subaru Crosstrek to A to Z Auto Care on March 2nd to diagnose a check engine light related to a slow camshaft response. We were told we needed two VVT solenoids replaced, which we authorized. They billed us for 2.0 hours of labor and charged nearly $900. Barely two weeks later, the exact same check engine light came back on. We brought it back, and they threw two MORE solenoids at the engine, charging us hundreds more and miraculously only billing 1.0 hour of labor for the exact same job. Within days, the check engine light came back on for a third time for the exact same system. We realized we were being scammed and took the vehicle to a real, professional mechanic. The new shop ran a proper diagnostic (see attached photos of their itemized report). They found that the VVT solenoids were NEVER the problem. The issue was simply debris built up on the magnetic ends of the Cam Position Sensors. The new mechanic cleaned the sensors, test-drove the car multiple times, and the issue is completely resolved. A to Z Auto Care sold us over $1,500 in unnecessary parts and inflated labor rather than actually diagnosing the vehicle. Furthermore, A to Z Auto Care operates in direct violation of Ohio consumer protection laws. They refuse to provide legally compliant itemized receipts detailing the brand or condition (new/used/refurbished) of the parts they install. When we explicitly asked the female manager for a proper itemized receipt with diagnostic notes, she was evasive, stalled the process, and falsely acted as if providing a legal receipt was not "standard business practice." They also failed to return our replaced parts to us or have us sign a waiver, another direct violation of Ohio law. We sent a formal demand letter requesting a refund under their own "90-Day Labor Warranty" since their labor completely failed to fix the issue. They ignored it. We are now filing formal complaints with the Ohio Attorney General and the BBB. Look at the attached photos of their non-compliant, vague receipts compared to a real mechanic's diagnostic notes. Do not trust this shop with your vehicle or your wallet.
