I prepaid for lawn services for the 2025 season with a signed service agreement covering the period…read morefrom April 15, 2025, to October 31, 2025, for a total of $ 1,700. He came three times, the last being May 30, 2025. I tried to reach him repeatedly in June to see when he was coming to service the lawns. Finally, on 7/8/2025, I spoke with him on the phone. He had a myriad of excuses, none of which were acceptable or logical. The call ended with him agreeing to personally deliver me a certified check on 7/9/2025, which I have not received. I tried reaching him 5 times on 7/9 by phone, text, email, and website contact. He did not respond to any of those communications. ZERO stars would be the best rating for this scam artist, liar, and cheat. AVOID him at all costs, and if you do need to engage him for service, DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE. In response to your reply, the ONLY lying going on is in YOUR message. Siwek was here only three times to service the yards, the last date being 5/30. I have security camera footage that confirms that. I tried repeatedly in June to reach you by text using the phone number you had provided as your "personal cell." I even sent you a certified letter, only to discover, when speaking with the postal person in Franklinville, that you don't receive mail at the address listed on your website. However, they assured me that they put a notice in your PO Box in Franklinville. (That letter was returned to me since you had not picked it up at the post office during the required 15-day window.) Then, I discovered that the cell phone number you had given me this spring, with which we had communicated up until May 30, had been disconnected. When we finally spoke on 7/8, you said you had sent an email to your clients telling them to use your business phone. Since you did not have my email address at the time, there would have been no way I could have received that message. All of our communications had been through text and phone calls. I spoke with you face-to-face on 5/30. Why did you not tell me on that day that the phone number was changing? When EXACTLY did you show up and were told by "someone" (who was most definitely not me nor either of my adjacent neighbors) not to cut the grass because there was a "big party"? And WHY did you not contact me immediately to tell me you were instructed not to cut the grass? Lastly, but certainly not least, you committed, during our phone call on July 8, to hand-deliver on 7/9 a refund check in the amount of $ 1,505 to my home (7 Potter Rd). (I have witnesses to that commitment). I made five efforts to contact you on 7/9 to confirm that you were bringing the check as you promised. Why did you not respond to any of those communications? There was someone at our place ALL DAY AND NIGHT, and you did not show up and you did not respond to my calls and texts to your business number, my email, or my web contact. I am still waiting for that refund.

They responded that the engine was gone and there was nothing they could do... $75 delivery fee. I watched some you tube videos on tecumseh motors, took apart the electric starter... the gear Tarth on the starter were gone. Replaced the gear easily. Fly wheel was fine. Replaced the spark plug. Works fine. Brighton mower is the most unethical business for small engine repair. DO NOT TAKE your mowers or snow blowers there for service. It is the worse!

I called on 10/25 about having a snow blower serviced. They said it was still Fall so they'd have to prioritize lawn mowers first. Okay, that's fine. The person on the phone said they would look at it in the following 2 weeks. 3 weeks passed since that initial phone call and I've heard nothing from them. We had a snow storm this week so I called them up and they mentioned they were swamped (likely due to the storm). I told them it's been three weeks since our chat and over 2 weeks since they picked the device up. The owner said he'd "move us to the front of the line because [I] sounded anxious." The owner was helpful, had it looked at on Thursday, called Friday with an update and then again today after a full assessment. While I'm disappointed I had to call things seem to have moved quickly since then.

It's unfortunate…read morethat one was starting to die because I just replaced the right one at a different AutoZone a week ago. The right one was quite shredded. The left one, which I bought today, was just starting to shred. One of the employees happily went outside in cruddy, rainy weather, to change it for me. After he took it off, he told me it was totally shot, so it's a good thing I bought a new one. I bought the same kind as the other new one. I bought a very cheap one for $19.99. They have even cheaper ones, at that location, for $13.99. I asked the employee how long they'd last and he said 3-6 months. I had another happy interaction with someone last winter, when I stopped in to buy windshield wiper fluid. She was very kind and brought the two bottles to my car for me. I'm very happy with thus location and it's employees.

They offer to help you or agree to help when asked from changing out your windshield wipers to the battery on your car key. Recently, they did both for me on two different store trips. I was driving home and noticed the car's computer said my car key battery was empty. So I decided to stop and get a new one right away lest I get caught when I next turned off the car with a non-working key. The battery for that key is apparently super popular and there were none on the shelves. The employee said to wait a minute. He said the supply truck had just arrived but had not been unpacked. He came back with a ripped package. He noted that this package had been ripped open by a shopper, and one of the batterires was stolen, so it had been removed from the shelves and had been in the back. He offered it to me for free and then called over his co-worker to change out my old battery because he had worked at many car dealerships and was good at opening tough keys. I was so impressed and happy that I told them I would be back the next day to buy some batteries to keep at home as we have eight vehicles. I did come back the next day and found the truck must have been unpacked and the batteries had been replenished, so I purchased a few to stock up. Great service, great store!
