They don't recommend for kids/teens, because people are joking and talking ish and some of the improv could take a spicy turn at any moment. The chef and the actors walk around to the tables and introduce themselves. People come here to let out a laugh and unwind. The Food: Delicious! The crab cake sandwich was big/fresh all lumps with crispy hot fries that did not disappoint. The package comes with several options, from homestyle meat loaf to Mediterranean salad with chicken stuffed pita that my friend said was really good. You get 2 courses and a non-alcohol beverage. Dessert was good, a dark fudge cake with strawberries and whipped cream, enjoyable. The Drinks: The 2 martini's I had weren't blended well. I would stick with wine or something like a rum & coke. The Storyline: Creative and funny, about a dating show where the two contestants need to stay together for 3 years to get the million-dollar jackpot. Only issue, there's a love triangle. So, you can imagine who all had motives to secure the bag. They bring the audience into the story with question prompts and even had me in the hot seat for questioning by a detective. So hilarious! Looking for something different to do and you feel like meeting people over good food and theater, THIS IS IT!

You can participate or not in the show, as much or as little as you choose. The non-alcoholic beverages are included but they do offer alcohol for purchase. The servers were super and the cast was amazing. You can heckle the cast, ask questions of the suspects or just sit back and watch the performance. The show was full of humor and some double-entendres. The restaurant was a little chilly so where something a little heavier or bring a coat. Best 3.5 hours I've spent in a while and totally worth the ticket price. The whole show takes place in and around the diners making for an up close and personal experience. Don't miss going to one of their shows. Totally worth it!

We were so lucky he agreed to drive well outside of his usual area to perform. His illusions were mesmerizing, and he expertly handled a room full of inquisitive and skeptical kids by getting most of them involved in his performance. He gave a great message in the end of the performance also, drawing on the themes of inclusion and acceptance from the Harry Potter stories, which the adults present also mentioned as being a highlight. We cannot say enough great things about his professionalism and performance and we would highly recommend him for any event!

Vick had a wonderful story line and great tricks that kept everyone's attention! We had some guests that are very skeptical of magic tricks, and he still blew them away! I'm so happy we had him! He then put on a 45-50 minute show for all of us, and included some guests, my father, and us in the show! I highly recommend him for ANY event -- weddings, birthdays (children AND adult), social events, etc. Thanks, Vick!

I found a Kids Paint Workshop and even though I was unsure of what to expect, I booked it and showed up with my girl. I am beyond excited that this center exists near me! Staff informed me it's an old school that was turned into this multi use art center. There were multiple classes going on, dance, art, etc. The attended workshop was such a pleasant surprise. It was affordable and my kids really enjoyed it and completed a real piece of art to display in our home! The instructor was professional, friendly, and patient with the children. Even though my son did not meet the age requirement, she still allowed him to participate (I paid and stayed to assist him). Afterwards, we were able to walk through the 2 free Art Exhibits on display which boasted beautiful work that was also for sale. My kids were so intrigued. They were amazed with the materials that were used & interested, asking questions and commenting on the visuals. I truly appreciate this center exposing children to the arts at a level they can comprehend. Don't hesitate to book a class or check out an exhibit! You will not be disappointed!

The rest rooms are located in the front of the building as soon as you enter, one on either side. There is a nice size lobby, the comedians were selling T-shirts, CD's, and odds and ends. I did not see a concession stand.

Recently finished Mike Harris' Intro to Improv 101 course (7 week course)- it was a blast. Had fun and learned a lot. As a student you get to go to all BIG's shows for free which is nice, good learning opportunity. They have various types of improv shows every Thurs-Sat nights, been to several and enjoyed them. Highly recommend taking a course or seeing a show. Am now in Michael Furr's standup comedy class which has been amazing so far. Aesthetics wise, it's no luxury theatre (they rely on donations and grants to stay operating, so this is understandable!) but it gets the job done and is homey. Convenient location near a few local bars. Parking Tip: If attending an evening show, get there early if you want to find easy street parking right out front (cheap, pay via kiosk or Parkmobile app). There's a parking garage across the street that's $5 if you tell them you're there for the theatre.

HARK! A TALE OF VALOR, FEASTING, AND GLORY!…read more 'Twas our first journey to Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, and from the very moment we crossed the castle gates, we were utterly blown away! How a man can journey from a shopping mall in Baltimore and, mere moments later, find himself standing before a mighty castle, I know not. We were assigned to House Black & White, and naturally, we had but one duty: to stand at the tip of the spear and make our house heard throughout the realm! And by the King's beard, the feast did not disappoint! The dragon was prepared with great skill and was absolutely delicious. Our server, Julian, was a true champion of the realm and absolutely killed it from beginning to end. Then came the tournament... WHAT. A. SHOW. If I had to describe it to a commoner, I would say: WWE + Game of Thrones = MEDIEVAL TIMES. Jousting, sword fighting, horses, knights, drama, action, and enough excitement to keep the entire castle roaring. Our knight fought with honor, integrity, and bravery, and he had House Black & White fired up like we were preparing to storm the gates ourselves! Alas... House Black & White fell short of victory. But our knight fought valiantly, and we made certain the entire castle knew exactly which house stood behind him. We were encouraged to be the loudest house in the castle, and by the end of the night, I believe we gave it our absolute best. I walked through those gates wondering whether the ticket price would truly be worth it. I walked out wondering: "How in the heck do they make a profit putting THIS much into a show?" The actors. The horses. The food. The costumes. The sets. The production. The action. It is absolutely packed with entertainment from start to finish, and it's one hell of a way to spend a couple of hours with family and friends. I went in not knowing what to expect and left already thinking about when we could do it again. In fact... Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, may soon have a visit from House Black & White. If you've never been, GO WATCH THE SHOW! You shall not be disappointed. 10/10. Would feast, cheer, and battle again. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must return to my kingdom and await the next tournament.

I upgraded VIP to the front of the row so that we could be close to the action, which also included a "VIP" lanyard. There were a number of upgrades available. We came in and were greeted by a pleasant person at the door, presented our ticket, and given a hat and banner for the section we were placed in (they have five different colored sections). Once in, they have an assortment of items available for purchase before the show starts. Souvenirs, photos, costumes, adult drinks and nonalcoholic ones as well. They make an announcement before the show starts of which door to stand in front of according to your section color. Once, the doors open, you are ushered to your area and seated. The show was great featuring knights, kings, queens, falcons, dancing horses, jousting competitions, sword fights, and the usual good versus evil trope. Between segments the food is served. The food, served renaissance style (no cutlery, you can request), consisted of an appetizer of tomato soup with garlic bread; main course of a quarter baked chicken, half a roasted potato, and corn on the cob; and a dessert of mini chocolate eclairs. They have substitute meal options available (inquire before show). The food was very good, except the mini eclair for me. They have unlimited soft drink refills. They also have staff that come around selling upgraded banners, lighted swords for the kids, photos, and adult beverages. The entire staff were pleasant and accommodating. They also have a segment of the show where they adorn the bell of that area and I was chosen! They give you a sash and you can have your picture taken for a fee...I just had one of the people I was with take mine for free! All in all, the four star rating stands and Medieval Times is perfect for a group, family, birthday, anniversary, family, or couples outing.

From the moment we booked, she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Her communication was exceptional, and she checked in throughout our stay with the perfect balance of attentiveness and warmth, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. What truly sets Sha-Ree apart is her incredible gift for hospitality. She didn't just make sure our trip went smoothly -- she made it memorable. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and enthusiasm elevated the entire experience and made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors. As an added bonus, she gave us fantastic book recommendations, so fellow readers should absolutely seek her out! If every host were like Sha-Ree, travel would be a completely different experience. We can't say enough wonderful things about her and would return in a heartbeat. Moving on to the rest of the wonderful people we encountered during our stay! The bellhop, Andre, was friendly and welcoming. Claudiane got us checked in and situated with player cards efficiently. We met Rafaela on the floor and she must have recognized us as newcomers because she also came over to welcome us. Jeremiah was our server for brunch and went out of his way to make sure my husband (who is incredibly picky about coffee for someone who drinks Dunkin) had all of the accoutrements he needed. I also stopped by the spa while we were there, and had a truly incredible massage from Amaya. Last but not least, the bartenders, Ikeola and Merrill. They were both patient in running through all of the IPAs available, and Merrill was absolutely hilarious. Food time! The first night we got a bit caught up in gambling, so just grabbed food from the Orchid Kitchen. We had a slice of the meat lovers pizza, cheese pizza, a double smash burger, and their chicken tenders. The pizza slices were massive and the crust had a delicious garlic butter seasoning of some sort. The smash burger came with all of the right toppings, and the sauce really pulled it all together. If I could eat those chicken tenders every day, I could die happy. (It might be a premature death due to clogged arteries, but it would be worth it). We went to brunch at David's the next day and ordered the crab cake Benedict and avocado toast. As someone who eats avocado toast more than I care to admit, I have to say this was the best I'd ever had. The pesto added a wonderful element and really amped up the flavor profile. The crab cake was seasoned beautifully. It didn't overwhelm the delicate crab flavor, and the hollandaise had a perfect balance of richness and flavor. Lunch was the birria quesadilla at the FanDuel Sportsbook, and it was loaded with meat. It didn't have quite the punch of flavor I would expect from birria, but I was still pleased. Moving on to the pièce de résistance - dinner at The Prime Rib. Their bread basket (and butter) puts all other bread baskets to shame. A delectable variety of bread, rolls, and soft pretzel sticks. For dinner we ordered the seafood tower, and it was so good I immediately texted everyone I know about it. The mignonette provided a delicious pucker punch, and there was a regular cocktail sauce and horseradish one for a bit of a kick. The seafood itself (lobster, shrimp, crab, oysters, and clams) was flawless. Tender, flavorful, perfectly chilled...I'm drooling just thinking about it again. All in all, this was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Between the staff, food, ambiance, cleanliness, amenities, and amazing casino, you will not find a better spot to spend a day...or week...or even a month, depending on how good you are at gambling. Truly an incredible experience and I can't wait to return!

Completely dropped it or purposefully put it in his pocket. The situation should have been solved quickly but the man continued to just scan everyone else in line (even after acknowledging he lost the ID). After a minute or two of him making no effort, I tried to explain to him that this was a major problem. We were traveling from out of state and losing my husband's ID was an emergency that should have been taken seriously. I was told multiple times to "calm down" and how he "could find it in 2 seconds" - like, okay? Then find it in 2 seconds! I had to get multiple other employees involved to help look. The security guy who lost his ID continued making jokes about the situation, downplaying the severity, and telling me to calm down. 5-10 minutes later (at this point multiple employees are looking for the ID), the security guy pulls it out of his pocket. I have no idea if it was an accident or if this man attempted to steal my husband's drivers license for some reason. We were so stressed in this situation. Completely ruined the vibes of the night and our trust in the casino. If you can't trust the security at a casino entrance to handle things professionally, why go? Seemed super shady and I do not appreciate this man telling me to calm down as a paying customer when he failed to do an extremely simple job of scanning an ID and giving it back. We did not stick around after this experience.
