The atmosphere of this location is very relaxed and the pictures on the walls are always fun to look at. Our service was amazing and our waitress, Kylie B, did a phenomenal job! Kylie has always been a wonderful server who goes above and beyond to make sure that her guests are well taken care of. While dining, we ordered fries and pretzel bites as an appetizer and they were excellent. Quite flavorful and cooked perfectly. My son ordered a calzone with chicken, spinach, and tomatoes and he thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter ordered the chicken, bacon, ranch pizza and it was devoured. My husband had a just right combo with a deluxe pizza and said it was perfect. My calzone was delicious! I wish I had taken pictures of our meals, but the food smelled too good. Throughout the meal Kylie frequently checked up on us and made us feel like part of the family, and we will definitely be back. Great job Kylie, you are the best server that we have ever had! Keep up the good work! read more

I don't often leave bad reviews but I feel this is needed. Our server Kylie B. Sat us down and took 10 minutes to bring our drinks, took our order and 15 minutes later our appetizers came out. Made food order, an hour later our food came out and it was cold. Server didn't clean up or give refills. Went to the restroom and saw my food sitting back in the kitchen with her talking to coworkers. Never had worse service anywhere will absolutely not be coming back. By the way they were not busy at all maybe 4 other tables in the entire restaurant no excuse at all. read more

This place was the first place me and my fiancé went and totally enjoyed the old location next to the interstate of I- 75 in middletown ohio. Then they moved, and lost their liquor license due to serving minors. Then we decided tonight to try again. They got their liquor license back- however, the serving time is terrible- and had I visited the woman's room prior to getting my sandwich 45 minutes later and begging for my bill- I would never have ate anything from there There was a party of 8- 2 adults 6 children that finally asked just for an order of fries until they could get their food before we left. And I am posting pics that are graphic so viewer discretion is advised prior to viewing these. This is the stall at the disabled stall of the women's restroom at this restaurant and extremely disturbing. Would not recommend- Will never returm- what a shame, I loved this restaurant prior to them closing the old location. This is on Dixie Highway Middletown , Ohio. Totally disgusting, and terrible serving time. read more

I placed an online pick up order for 1 pepperoni pizza and small salad on a Sunday at 5:20pm (15 min est wait). Get in drive through line at 5:40pm. I get a text that says food is ready as I make it to the window at 5:55pm. They tell me "hey it'll be 2-3 minutes can you pull forward". I pull forward and wait 10 min before they tell me AGAIN to pull forward into a different spot. After waiting another 5 min, I get my pizza/salad at 6:15pm. When I get home I see they didn't even put any salad dressing in the bag. Why did I get a text saying my food was ready if I had to wait an additional 20 min after getting to the window? On top of messing up the simple order. Unfortunately it was bad experience. read more

I was staying at a hotel and ordered take out. We placed our order over the phone and gentleman was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the meat pizza and a side salad. We requested that the ground beef be replaced with jalapeño. The delivery man brought out pizza to our room door. He was a very nice man. The pizza was beautiful and super delicious. It was loaded with bacon and pepperoni. I love bacon and loved how it was loaded with bacon pieces. They were falling off the slices and I was able to use the crust to scoop up the extra bacon. The jalapeño were super fresh, crunchy, and full of spicy flavor. The salad was very fresh with good quality ingredients. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the crust was not strong enough for all the toppings. When I picked up a slice, the toppings would roll off, so I had to scoop it back up. read more

We were told our pizza would be delivered at a specific time. 45 minutes later, it still wasn't here. We called and were told that they had tried to contact us and couldn't reach us. They, in fact, did not call or message at all. We then had to wait another 45min for the pizzas we had ordered which were now cold as I'm sure they did not make new ones for us but delivered the ones that had been sitting around for an hour and a half. Wish I could say this was a one time occurrence but this has happened the last 3 TIMES we have tried to order from there. It's obvious that their management is extremely incompetent and couldn't care less for customer service. Absolutely shameful. read more

Nice new place, took over hour to get a sandwich, urges not hot when I got it, had 6 workers standing around, watching customers, , had to ask for silverware, had to walk up get napkins, when left lots of silverware and crayons all over table next to me, no one clean up...nice new place but needs managed better... New location- inside is nice- waitress was nice, food took a long time. Four of us ordered rondos and the just right combos. Baked royal had three pieces of thin meat. - basically had a bread sub. Not good. Salad and rondos was good but $64 plus a generous $13 tip- not worth it. Left hungry. Was only able to eat about half of the half sub bc it was basically bread. I don't think we would go back just bc the service took soooo long and disappointed in the subs. read more

I first had their pizza as a child at Kings Island, and noticed a location while in Ohio this weekend, so I wanted to try it out. The pizza was great! Hot, fresh, and just as I remembered. My friend tried their crustless bowl, and she really enjoyed it as well. The sauce is really good in my opinion, and I love the thin crust original crust option. The salad was nice and fresh. It would have been nice to have some croutons for the salad though. We could have also used some napkins as we were staying in a hotel, but aside from those minor things the experience was great! read more

I've definitely seen much worse establishment. With that said, this location has screwed up my order almost consistently for once a week, over two years. Nothing complex, cut it into squares and Thin crust Pepperoni. I absolutely love Larosa, but these people can't follow the directions on their computer screens. They can't keep employees either. I see plenty of responses from a store that isn't changing the issues.. read more

I have ordered my last time from Larosa. Their food is good as well as their service is good. Their webb site sucks. I have not been able to sign in for several months now so I have to order by phone. They have an excellent web site if you can get into it. I checked the app on play store and 80 % of the reviews are having the same problem. I went to a supervisor several weeks ago and after about 1/2 an hour he said it should be fixed. Went to order again and it would not let me in. Some one needs to check their app out. It is so frustrating I wont order from Larose again until they fix it. Like I said earlier food gets a 4 star but it is so difficult to order it ruins the food. read more

The pizza is good and wings cooked correctly. Had the recommended pizza and asked for garlic and parmesan added to the crust but it didn't come out that way. Wings were cooked and crispy. Had the garlic Parmesan traditional. Friendly staff. Place is clean. read more

Several of us eat here on Saturdays after shooting at gun range in Middletown. The restaurant and restrooms are always clean and we always receive good service. Poor customer service and poor quality food should be their tag line. We rarely get LaRosa's since the closest one doesn't deliver to us. My husband made this his special request on Father's Day, so we did something out of the norm and ordered carry out. Our problems began when I ordered a calzone. I wanted spinach, onions, mushrooms and sausage. The customer service rep on the phone said they had a three ingredient maximum. I quickly replied, "Oh, I don't mind paying an upcharge." I was then told that three ingredients were the maximum that would fit into a calzone. Uuhhhhmmmm... how does Cassanos, Dominos and Pizza Hut make them with five and six ingredients? Whatever. I arrived to pick up our food and wait for service. And wait for service. And wait for service. Finally, I am checked out and I head home. Upon arriving home I am thoroughly disappointed with the calzone. The ingredients inside were good, but there was no sauce. Zero sauce. Notta. Not like they didn't put enough in for my tastebuds, but like they didn't put ANY in. The sausage grease made It palatable though. The bigger disappointment was that it was so dry. The crust was borderline burnt and the garlic that had been brushed on was as crispy as a potato chip. Not good. read more

As an out of towner, I was desperate for any restaurant that would deliver to a hotel, so pizza quickly became the only option around. I wanted to get something that wasn't a recognizable nationwide chain, so LaRosa's seemed like a good alternative. Online ordering: the ordering system had a great mobile interface. The options for your pizza (amount/type of cheese and sauce, dough type (wheat, white, etc), and time baking). I ended up calling customer service to check that my pizza got ordered because my Internet froze, and the guy was super personable and checked my hotel address just in case. Food: The food was great. The pizza really tasted better than what I expect from chains. I ordered the Roma Focaccia pizza, which was amazing. The online ordering system also gave options to slightly underbake your pizza or take it out even earlier. However, some of my rotas (cheesy roll things) just had a weird, musty flavor I couldn't ignore. read more

Ordered for delivery. Order delivered super fast no problems, food was great. Fast forward to next weekend. Placed order online just like last time. Get a phone call an hour and 10 min after order placed telling me they don't deliver to my address. Umm ok but you delivered here last week. Said whatever and had service center make order for pickup and it will be ready in 10 min. Go to pick up order, no one knows my name or what's going on. Wait in store for another 25 min on order. Last time you get our business. read more

This is my standard place when I order la rosa's delivery. I also took my kids there on Christmas Eve for the spaghetti lunch. With the exception of the service being very slow as there was a miscommunication of who's section we were in, everything was awesome. Especially for a holiday. Normally, the food is exceptional, however last nights order had an issue. La Rosa's has buffalo garlic wings that have a very unique flavor that I love. I decided to treat myself and get some last night, and either they changed the recipe or someone doesn't know it. What I got was buffalo wings with tons of minced garlic...not awesome. I would've preferred buffalo wings and requested the garlic dressing for dipping. I will have to clarify before ordering them in the future. read more

I wanted hand tossed pizza.....they say they have it just nit on site.... how does that work? Had Lasagna last night.. worst i ever had.

If it were possible to give less than one star I would! OMG! I work in the customer service industry & the key words are, "Customer SERVICE." I have never had such a poor effort at getting good service at ANY other LaRosa's like the one in Middletown, OH. Don't think of ordering a menu item any other way than how it is described in the menu b/c you'll be told what there "corporate policy" is. Try the Lebanon, OH LaRosa's and they'll take good care of you. They actually know what good customer service truly is. read more

I decided to go to LaRosa's at this location for the first time today. I walk into the restaurant and see the "Please wait to be seated sign" My fiancé and I stand there for about 5 minutes. During this time I see 2 waitress standing at an order station towards the back of the store doing nothing. I see another waitress walking around, we make eye contact, she comes near the front of the store, then turns around and walks into a back room. There was a elderly lady running the cashier up front, she was busy with carry out orders. I look into the kitchen area and see 5 to 8 people walking around. I decided to ask for the manager and I expressed my concerns about him managing his people and having his customers seated in a timely manner and left the restaurant. read more

After a day of traveling with a newborn we were happy to order delivery to the Hampton Inn. My husband got the three meat calzones, which he said were decent, but nothing special. Food was barely above a freezer aisle dinner. We'd been driving for four hours before stopping for the night and ordering into the hotel we stayed at. The pizza was the flat cardboard style that a store brand frozen pizza attempts to imitate. The "calzone" was a glorified hot pocket. The "hot garlic bread with cheese" was neither hot nor had any garlic flavor and only had a slice of provolone from the local grocery dairy department dropped on some bland, chewy bread. To top it off they forgot dipping sauce and when we called to ask about it they told us they could credit us or we could give the food back. They were actually going to send a driver out to get 4 breadsticks back. No offer for a refund, just store credit but we live no where near a La Rosas. I guess we should be thankful. read more

Pizza to go excellent! However, even using direction app his place is hard to find. Clue next to very prominent displayed FRICKERS. Dear owner, need a bigger sign with name, one out in the Out front yard next to FRICKERS . Also know, the landscaping , trees need trimmed back , away from the front facing signage. Your store presence is as bad as your food products are good, and you make tres excellent pizza pie. read more

We eat at this location every Saturday for lunch. It is always clean, staffed with friendly folks and food is good. My only complaint and it is probably outside the restaurant owner's control, is the drive to get to the building is always in need of serious repair. LaRosa's is my favorite pizza place. I order it all the time. Well, today I decided I wanted to dine in for once. We're slowly greeted by a hostess that has probably the worst attitude I've ever seen. We're sat at a booth, which we requested. I hear a server ask if someone else can take us, mind you there are maybe 4 tables in the restaurant. The hostess gets our drink order. Pretty much slams our drinks on the table and walks away without saying a word. As I sit and wait for a server at least 6 of them just keep walking by so I request the manager. The manager then uses the "shift change" excuse but, me being a great server, I know how it works and I know how shift change works. We're then taken care of promptly by a server (finally). I will never dine in here again. read more
