This was the worst hair experience I have ever had in all my life. I went in for a highlight and gray regrowth touchup and Jenny/Genevieve let the highlights on the left side and back of my head process too long and a ton of my hair broke off. I went from approximately 20" hair length to sections that are no more than 2" long. It looks like my hair was chewed off. This is going to take YEARS to recover from and I truly think her license should be revoked. I suggest avoiding this salon at all costs unless you want to potentially leave bald.... read more

Hi everyone. Just wanted to share my recent encounter with largo. I was called to make an appointment to get my hair done and book to get a facial. The resectionist, Brooklyn, wanted me to allocate 2.5 hrs. to do my hair. I expressed that 2 hrs wouldn't be enough time. I've been getting my hair down for years and know that it takes way over 4 hrs. The day of I expressed to my hair colorist very specifically what I wanted and expect to be done. She expressed she was concerned about the timeframe too but decided to move forward. All I wanted was my roots touched up with baby highlights, the money pieces done and the underneath of my hair done . I was very grown out. The colorist was able to match my previous color but you can clearly see it wasn't blended properly with my previous work and there were spots of brown hair. The underneath of my hair was still brown and slight money piece done to the front of my hair. I attached photos so you guys can see the results of the work and let them speak for themselves. I was scheduled to come back on the next day, just so they can call me and push back my appointment which was already late. Then they proceeded to tell me that they weren't going to fix it. I obviously ask for my money back, they were very nice about giving my money back which made me a little more relaxed but then they rudely told me , " Not get services done here again". So unprofessional to say when they messed up my hair. I've been getting services done at largo since 2019 multiple times by the artist Genevieve, whom is beyond talented! Will be posting a picture of how amazing the work I got done at Largo by her back in 2020 so you guys can compare the work (took a screenshot with the date) . My hair came out amazing I always got so many compliments. All I can say is am super disappointed. I will say I think if the colorist had been allocated the right amount of time to do my hair she could have done a great job but clearly thumbs down for LARGO's management and receptionist. read more

I had a great experience start to finish here. Booking was simple and they sent many reminders and opportunities to cancel or reschedule. I was in town for a black tie wedding and didn't want to stress about hair/makeup. Selisse gave me a great blowout that was exactly what I wanted and held up in the Charleston heat! Amanda did my makeup and knocked it out of the park. She gave me what I asked for to a T and was also a blast to hang out with. Not the mention the lounge was so cool with speak easy vibes! Highly recommend! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Largo Salon. I was in town for a wedding and my hotel had hooked me up with an in-room hair appointment. My stylist Selesse was punctual, polite, and she styled my hair exactly how I wanted it: a simple, unfussy, yet elevated version of my normal, everyday hair. She was a total pro and finished the job in under an hour. The receptionist who helped manage the appointment was communicative and friendly throughout, and handling payment over the phone was a breeze. I would come back to Largo in a heartbeat (if only I lived in Charleston!). read more

On a complete whim, I booked a haircut with Alana (chose her because she's from NC, and I am in town from there for a conference) because my hair just needed some love, and I'd been too busy at home to make that happen. Alana was lovely--detail-oriented, professional, and she listened thoughtfully to everything I told her about what I loved and hated going on with my "do." Highly, highly recommend her! The salon is easy to book and access with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, even for an out-of-tower like me. I love my hometown salon, but I'll miss Alana--she's a pro! read more

Amazing like always! This time I saw Genevieve and she new exactly what I needed to achieve the natural look I was going for winter. I highly recommend asking for her, but I have worked with a handful of others and have been happy every time :) read more

Genevieve is not only the BEST stylist I've ever been to (out of literally dozens before I found my girl for life), but she's also become a great friend and I look forward to every appointment I have. Couldn't ask for a better colorist, haircut or extension taper :) 11/10 would recommend! read more

I would not recommend this salon. I went to this salon because one of my friends got her hair done and it looked beautiful. I booked a balayage appointment over the phone with the receptionist for an 8 o'clock appointment. I was specific about the earliest time because I had a class in the afternoon. I showed up at 8 and she said my appointment wasn't until 9:15. No one told me this, but I left to get breakfast and came back. At 9:15, I was told I was only having a consultation and not actually getting my hair done. When I booked my appointment to get my hair actually done, I had it scheduled for 4pm. At 3:30 day of, I got a call asking if I could come in at 6 because someone had decided to do something else to their hair and I wouldn't have to wait if I came at 6. I came back at 6 and she was putting full coverage foils on another client. I waited until 630 when the receptionist finally came to give me a cover and I decided to leave because she wasn't close to done with her client. read more

My Mother and I are from out of town and needed our hair done for a wedding. The hotel we are staying at helped us find Largo Salon. We luckily got to meet Sam and Selesse. They were amazing! They listened to our ideas, used the products we wanted, and styled our hair to perfection! When we come back to Charleston we will definitely be requesting them again by name. read more

If you can pick one salon in Charleston- this is it. Everyone is amazing- however Ethan is the best!!!!

Really good vibe and the hair transformations they do are stunning! I really like the people at Largo -- they are welcoming, friendly and cool. The price for my haircut was right in line with downtown prices, not overboard, and you cannot beat the location on Meeting Street. read more

The very tippy top of hair salons! After having my hair destroyed in every way imaginable by an endless list of incompetent "stylists", I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone other than Ralph. He is an artist, pure and simple! The staff is wonderful, can't do enough for you! read more

I have followed Ralph from Mt. Pleasant to Kiawah and now to Largo in Charleston. Living outside NYC has given me an appreciation for a great stylist and no one is better than Ralph! Definitely worth the trip! read more

Waited for more than half an hour!! No respect to people's time and I paid for a parking and took a day off from work. Unbelievable!! Had to leave because I couldn't waste my time even more read more

I just love Largo so much! Ralph has been cutting and coloring my hair since March and I have never been happier. He really takes his time and listens to what you want. The salon is so welcoming and has such a cool vibe. I love getting there a little early before appointments just to relax, have champagne and listen to good music! Lisa is so sweet and always has such a warm smile. She is at the front to greet you and makes you feel at ease. Selesse has curled my hair a few times and has done such an AMAZING job! I plan to go back just to have her curl for me for a night out on the town. Book your appointment today you won't regret! They are always running promotions for not only new clients but also their existing! Can't wait for my next booking :) read more

I was visiting from out of town anc my daughter and I wanted a fresh look for spring. My daughter got Alana the first day and I was scheduled with someone else but requested Alana too. She did an amazing job. We both looked like we just got back from the beach with our highlights. Take a picture!! It's hard fir people to guess what you want. She is quiet and sweet. You can sit back and just relax. Loved it and really appreciate her patience with our indecisiveness. Thanks Alana!!! read more

I had the absolute best experience during my haircut and blowout today. I went in blindly with just a recommendation from and friend and I was not disappointed. Audrey was my stylist and she was truly amazing. My hair looks the best it ever has after my appointment. I have thick, wavy/curly hair and she handled it the best of any stylist I've had. 10/10 it was great! read more

My favorite place in the world!! The atmosphere of this salon is amazing, and the stylists are the best! Ethan is my hair stylist and I will never let anyone else touch my hair. He knows how I like my color and cut and listens to what I want, while adding his own input on the shape of the cut to best compliment my face and color to keep it easy to maintain since I don't get my hair done but every so often. It always turns out better than I could imagine! He's super helpful at keeping my hair healthy! I have never had my hair done by him and not love it! I would recommend Largo to anyone, every time! read more
