We sat in their insulated outdoor area amidst string lights and beachy vibes, and every meal starts out with their addicting tortilla chips and salsa verde. (Pro-tip -- save some of this green salsa to have with whatever you order!) We tried their chicken flautas appetizer, and if you are a fan of all that is cheesy and crispy, you will definitely enjoy this one. My favorite item on the menu was next -- the Crunch and Munch ground beef taco -- this literally was an elevated version of Taco Bell's cheesy Gordita crunch, and it made me super happy. We also shared their shredded beef burrito (think barbacoa), which was a Saturday special, but honestly, any of their burritos would be worthwhile. (I dare say that the burritos also feel kind of light? They are not over-the-top in the best way possible!) If you're looking for a casual taco spot after a day at Robert Moses or Overlook Beach (or any day, really), definitely check this place out -- you will fall in love after the first flavorful bite.

We ended up adding a side of guacamole and I'm so glad we did. It was super fresh with the perfect balance of lime, cilantro, and seasoning. Definitely worth it. For my dinner, I ordered the carne asada quesadilla and it was incredible. The steak was flavorful and tender, the cheese pull was perfect, and the portion size was huge. It came out crispy without being greasy and had just the right amount of filling. Easily one of the better quesadillas I've had in a while. My dad ordered the shrimp and chicken fajitas, served with rice, beans, peppers and onions. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, the chicken was juicy, and everything tasted really fresh. The portions here are no joke either... you definitely leave full. One thing I really loved was all of their weekly specials. They have lunch specials Monday-Friday, Margarita Mondays with half-price margaritas all day, Taco Tuesday deals, Wing Wednesday specials, and even discounted nachos on Thursdays. It makes this the kind of place you could come back to multiple times a week and always try something different. The atmosphere was fun and casual, service was friendly, and the menu has so many options without feeling overwhelming. Between the food, drinks, and specials, I can absolutely see why people keep coming back here. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're craving Tex-Mex on Long Island.

One night I was so hungry but I was craving birria tacos so bad and lots of lemon... luckily I found this place since you know first trimester is not a joke and gonna have you starving at 1 am lol. I found this place and they were open until 2 am which I thank all of the coworkers doing night shifts !!! Unfortunately I don't remember seeing any name on the receipt that day but whoever made my order I hope your pockets are never empty and good health always !!! But in the instructions I wrote i was craving a lot of lemon and I didn't have any at home and they sent me the pieces that come in the order PLUS two whole lemons !!! And they wrote a cute note on saying congratulations for my baby. I'll never forget that because it was one of those nights where only me and my husband knew about our baby so i was going thru all the emotions and feelings. It sounds funny but you guys were amazing for that, plus the tacos were amazing! Thank you so much to whoever did that around September or October 2025!!! While…read morewe usually go to the St. James location, we decided to try this one since we were in the area, and I'm glad we did! From the start, the staff made us feel very welcome. It was noon on the day before Thanksgiving, so the restaurant was pretty quiet, which was nice. We started off with a complimentary basket of chips and salsa, which is always a great way to begin any meal at Del Fuego. My nephew ordered the chicken quesadilla, which came with a side of fries. He loved it and finished every bite! I decided to go with the Santa Fe Caesar wrap with shrimp, and I was honestly impressed by how much flavor it packed. It was loaded with crisp romaine, vibrant corn salsa, creamy Caesar dressing, cotija cheese, crunchy tortilla chips, and just the right touch of honey-chipotle BBQ drizzle. SO tasty. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and added a great twist to the classic Caesar flavors. For drinks, I had a cold Modelo and my nephew enjoyed his apple juice. The service was just attentive enough. Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. All in all, we were in and out in about 40 minutes, which was perfect for a casual lunch. Everything felt fresh and well prepared, and both the food and atmosphere lived up to what I've come to expect from Del Fuego locations. This spot is definitely a great option if you're in East Northport and craving Tex-Mex. We'll definitely be back!

I ordered a coconut mojito, but it tasted only like lime--there was no coconut flavor at all or any rum which would have been ok don't need it to be strong but tasted like you were sucking on a lime. Two of us ordered tortilla soup, which had no flavor! It didn't resemble tortilla soup at all. It was a thick, non-translucent broth with large chunks of carrots, barely any tortilla strips, and it was served lukewarm again - no flavor ironically the server said the soup of the day was spicy tortilla chicken soup, no spicy, no flavor, no bueno! One of my friends ordered a quesadilla with a side of rice. The menu described the rice as "toasted with garlic," but she said it tasted like plain steamed minute white rice with no seasoning. We ended with coffee and churros. The coffee arrived well before the churros, and when the churros finally came, three had cinnamon sugar and one did not at all. None of them were warm, and the dough inside was undercooked and raw. All three of us agreed that the food lacked flavor across the board. Thankfully, the company was great, which made the experience more enjoyable than the meal itself. Hopefully, this was just an off day for the kitchen, but overall it was a very disappointing lunch.
