Update: service still sucks. Food was awful. My chicken enchiladas were in corn tortillas instead of flour, was just dry chicken. No cheese. No sauce. Covered in old lettuce, a teaspoon of diced tomatoes and a metric ton of sour cream to hide how crappy it was. The chips were not hot, clearly out of a bag, stale and unsalted. The large cheese dip was $15. The younger owner or owners son is still creepy. Nope. I'll drive to Tallahassee or Albany for Mexican. read more

The food was bomb! We came on a Friday around 4 PM. Service was a little slow, but there was only 1 server so it was no big deal. The quality of the food made up for lack of service :) would definitely come back. I got the combo fajitas... yummy! read more

I went here because it's next door to the hotel I'm staying at; I guess I should have read the reviews first I ordered three tacos al pastor to go; I told them I don't want the meal, I just want the three tacos I told them I wanted cheese, and onions and cilantro; I was told they do not have cilantro, so I said just cheese and onions When they brought my food they wanted to charge me the full price of the meal, but they did not bring rice or beans When I asked how much just for the tacos I was told it was $3.75/taco; the meal is $10.75 I told them to just give me the rice and beans, which they did, grudgingly I took pictures but apparently my memory card is corrupted because none of them will open When I peeled back the foil what I saw was three dry ass corn tortillas which looked like well worn tires The flavor of the meat was nearly nonexistent, and though the meat chunks averaged between small and medium dice, most of the pineapple was large dice The tortillas fell apart as soon as I tried picking up the tacos, they had no cheese, or onions I don't usually put pico de gallo on my tacos but I figured I'd taste theirs to see if it was any good; in fact it was the only part of my meal which had good flavor, in part due to the cilantro I would never return here, nor would I recommend it to anyone, ever read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Food and service was awful. Ordered the Super Burrito without beans and guacamole. Of course once delivered had guacamole on top, no big deal scraped off. Bean spread on the inside, decided not to send back. Big deal was ordered a top shelf margarita which to be honest just a house margarita normal size. Asked waiter difference between top shelf and the jumbo Texas margarita on the menu $11.00, he told me the same, which didnt make sense but i went ahead and ordered the Jumbo Texas, again tasted the same, just a house margarita but did come in a larger portion which was perfect size that I'm used to in most Mexican restaurants / bowl size. Which normally between $18-$25 but again nothing special. Check came, and they charged me $11 for top shelf which was normal size, no problem with that, then charged $30 for Jumbo Texas Margarita, same tasting drink, keep in mind a pitcher of margaritas was $25, not even close to amount of the Texas M. Want to get screwed this is the place for you. We have a El Jalisco just opened up but they dont get their liquor license till next week, do yourself a favor and stay away from Lardeo and try another Mexican restaurant, service, food and drinks pitiful. read more

I'm staying at the Holiday Inn next door and needed dinner, a guest getting into the elevator with leftovers emphatically recommended this place. I'm not much of a fan of Mexican food but this place could get me to change my mind. It was reasonably busy for a Monday night at 8:30, clearly a local crowd. Lots of staff working, service was great. I asked my server for a recommendation and he pointed me to the Loco special. It was a mix of shrimp, chicken, beef, bacon, and veggies along with beans and rice and a four tortillas to make my own tacos. I couldn't believe the size of the portion, at first I thought it was for two people. Melt in your mouth delicious, seriously. read more

Can i say quality?! The first bite of the steak fajitas kept me shoveling for more and more. That thin cut to stay this juicy? Good. Real check was the chicken. As it always is. Its super easy to screw up a chicken meal. But, it was juicy and cooked through. Yet juicy! Something you'd expect in a gourmet grilled breast kinda dish, not in fajitas. Win. And the portion was generous to say the least. Service, the guys and gals worked hard but not too obnoxious. Maybe since i was first in before the inrush. Still, good attention. Music, not too loud. You can have a conversation without effort but won't hear the guys next table chewing. Big plus in my book. On the spice deal, yeah. I expected the meal to be more colorful. Drove down from Macon to visit family in Bainbridge one weekend and since the county doesn't sell alcohol on Sundays, we decided to go here for a drink when most other places were closed. The inside is cute, and we were seated right away. We looked for a drink menu but saw that they basically just had "margarita/daiquiri" listed with a few flavors and 3 sizes. No descriptions were given of what was in the drinks (I.e. tequila, triple sec, etc). No prices were given either, so we asked just to see if it would be better for us to split a jumbo or each get a small. I didn't find the service to be blatantly rude, just laid back and non-attentive. When we flagged the guy who seated us down and asked about prices or what was in the margarita, we just got a blank stare and another server had to come around to answer us. Even then I don't think they understood what we were asking, but no big deal. I don't think they mean to be rude, I just think some of the staff's English is very weak. Our margaritas and beers came quickly, but there was barely any salt and we didn't taste hardly any tequila. This was pretty much just a sweet mix with maybe a splash of tequila. It wasn't the absolute worst margarita I've ever had, but definitely isn't something I'd ever order again. We didn't try the food, so I can't vouch for that. I can't compare this to anything else in Bainbridge since I don't live here, but compared to places in middle Georgia, the drinks weren't up to par. Recently, I went to Laredos in Bainbridge for lunch with a friend. After we were seated, our waiter came over and already looked bothered by our presence before even getting our order. No hello, no anything. Only, "what's your drink?" When we proceeded to tell him what we wanted, (a pina colada), he asked for our id. Now, CLEARLY, we look old enough to purchase an alcoholic beverage, but ok. If you want to see it, then that's just what it is. My friend didn't have hers but she had it on her phone...he wouldn't take it. I had mine and was going to order for the both of us. I literally turned around to get it out of my wallet and when I turned back around, he WAS GONE and never came back. This was the little old guy, with the thin and receding hair. There was a much younger guy who came by, clearly noticing that after 10 minutes, we had no drink & no order. We told him what we wanted, and he told one of the other people...I think he's a manager or owner...idk. That person, ultimately brought the drinks to the table. After maybe 15 more minutes, we had to beckon for our order to be taken. This time an older woman came to take our order. The original old guy went about his shift taking everyone's order and doing it very vocally and with a smile. I watched him closely. I then noticed that no one else in the restaurant looked like us. He still never came back even after we were done with our meal. The only reason we stayed is because my detail specialist had already stopped by to pick up my car to clean it. After I went to pay, I asked the before mentioned, owner/manager guy who our actual waiter was because we had a few people at our table and he told me it was the little man with the thin, receding hair. I told him that his service was trash and he was never present. I also explained to him how I felt like my friend and I must've been too dark for his liking and because I felt that way, I would not be patronizing their business anymore. I just couldn't wrap my mind around him being a racist Mexican. How is that even possible? All he could offer me was, "ooooh". Lol, wow. I came here for a quick lunch while traveling through Bainbridge. Almost all the lunch combos were within the $5-6 range. Chips were good and the salsa tasted fresh. The entree was just okay. A little bland and tasted suspiciously reheated. For the price, I guess I can't really complain. The service was friendly and accommodating. read more

Not sure why yelp shows this restaurant had moved but it's still open at the Tallahassee hwy location. Service was good - had no issues there. Not a great beer selection but they do carry the most popular brands. Chicken enchiladas were decent, but in my opinion, not spicy enough. A little tapatio fixed that. The salsa that comes with the free chips is excellent. Overall it's not my favorite Mexican restaurant, but it's not the worst either. Will try have a more useful review than some others. I went to this place because it was within stumbling distance from the hotel. First of all, the servers hardly speak English. If you can get over that, you can have a pretty good meal. The chips were fresh, crunchy and tasty. The salsa was pretty simple but really good--I mean really good. Didn't have a lot of stuff in it so maybe the quality of the tomatoes? Drinks are relatively cheap if you're used to paying $5 for a beer. I was really craving a shrimp/meat dish but since I actually just ate a steak and the waiter couldn't understand my request, I opted for just a shrimp dish. I don't even remember what it was called (camaron something, obviously) but it came on top of a bed of seasoned rice with vegetables. It was the second dish down on the shrimp/seafood section, right side of the menu. It was tasty. The shrimp were plenty, not overcooked and had a nice grilled/smoky taste to it. The rest of the dish was also surprisingly tasty and I ate up the veggies. I asked the dudes for some hot sauce, the hottest they have, and they brought out some habanero hot sauce, clearly made in house. Nice, hot, tasty. I can't vouch for other dishes but if by some strange twist I'm in the area again, I will hit this place again. read more

Do not go here!!! We were seated by this one server and he asks for our drink order. Laughed every time we had a question, unreal. I don't know if he didn't understand us, was new, or couldn't hear us. I asked what size margaritas they had and the flavors, and he didn't know. I then just picked a margarita drink after finally finding out on the menu on my own. I got a drink which tasted like straight syrup, and kindly asked if I could send it back without getting changed and just stick to water only..A different server shows up to our table and says absolutely no refunds are ever allowed in their restaurant. I only took a small sip from it. $10 wasted. Didn't smile, doesn't speak at all. Asked for chip and salsa refill which they didn't bring. Asked for Queso dip which he didn't bring either. Never refilled our water or drinks anyone in our party. There were only 4 of us, not like it was a large party. Then, when we got the bill, he stood by the kitchen entrance and just stared at us from a distance. It was so awkward. I've never left a review on Yelp but this was an experience I just HAD to share. I didn't even eat my meal bc I had no idea if those rude, miserable waiters would even serve me a good meal. Don't waste your money here. I would never return. They have multiple signs on the wall that states to make sure to leave gratuity-- I was in shock!!! Minimally, you have to treat people with respect-- at least acknowledge that you picked your career, and that it's costumer service to at least refill a drink! No excuse to be so rude. Maybe it was just a bad night. I ordered the Chimichanga. It came with rice, refried beans, sour cream guacamole and salsa on it. The beans were hands down the worst I have ever tasted. Very salty and had lousy flavor. The rice was not much better. I couldn't eat either one. The Chimichanga was smothered, which may have been a good thing. It was ok. I ate most of it but didn't bother finishing it either. My friend got the shrimp cocktail. Not good. It was a half dozen shrimp in a beer glass that was filed with some kind of Mexican cocktail sauce. Some of the shrimp were still frozen. Not good. The staff was friendly. Well, it's just TexMex in a small South Georgia Town. The Shrimp Fajitas were amazing, The French Fries with the child's Hotdog were awesome, the Steak Taco Salad was a treat. Now to the negative. The chili rellenos was a disappoint. Now for the kicker on the deserts: the worst ever!!! We sat down quickly and the servers were nice but, that is where the good ends. Unfortunately the food was a major disappointment. The beans tasted burnt and the rice lacked any flavor. We ordered from the lunch menu which was priced from 6.25 to 8.50. However at checkout they charged us 9 per plate. Our 1 year old accidentally knocked over a drink (no big deal just needed some napkins) and the guy took his time getting the napkins for us. The chicken nachos were ok but the enchiladas were gross. For a small town like Bainbridge, this place is as good as it gets for dinner. As a person who isn't from here, it is your typical texmex place, with some hidden staples. The Laredo Burrito is large and delicious and the Shrimp Alambres is a spicy lighter option (ask for light spice). Don't forget the cheese dip. read more
