Wow, what a sorry excuse for a restaurant. Pulled in there tonight at 11pm to order a milkshake and after waiting ten minutes for them to take my order, I was told I could not order anything made with ice cream because they had turned their ice cream machine off at 9pm. Turned it OFF??? Am I missing something? The main thing that people order at Sonic on a Saturday night is ICE CREAM and turn off the machine THREE HOURS BEFORE THEY CLOSE?? Three hours?? I can only imagine it's because they want to clean the machine and are just too lazy to stay after the store closes at midnight. Most Sonics that I have been to have horrible service and is run by high school kids who treat customers like irritants. This one is one of. the worst of the worst. Avoid this abyss. Sonic's Supersonic Burrito is my breakfast of choice when I'm traveling so, I pulled in in spite of the previous, dismal ratings. I did the drive-thru and was greeted within seconds. My burrito was well made- tightly wrapped, no dripping or excess liquid and the perfect mix of ingredients. Yummy! Employee was friendly, efficient and the place looked clean. Maybe they've had a change of management or staff but, I'll be back. read more

This is one of the absolute worst places I have ever been to eat. If I could've given no stars to write a review I would have. The first time I went, I got take out for my family. The screen said my order was ready. I waited 15 more minutes for them to bring me my food and it was ice cold!!! The waitress acted like I was a burden. Tried one more time about 6 months later, waited at the drive through speaker for 3 min before someone barely acknowledged me. Went around the corner only to wait another 10 min with only one other car in front of me. Apparently they were friends and had a lot to talk about. I drove off. Common sense surely isn't so common. Had a situation at #sonicdrivein where what we believed to be the manager saw us pull in and attempt to check in with the app after we ordered. The app showed that we did not have anything in our cart, so No order even though we had checked in. So we back up and go through the drive in. Order again, they take the order then when we get to the window we are told they don't have part of the order at the restaurant (the mixing stuff for the ice cream My husband ordered). Then the card reader outside doesn't work so they need to run the card inside. At that point I am checking my bank account online when low and behold there is a charge for the food from the app! So I ask the guy, who saw us in the spot when we checked in and then waited on us in the drive thru! And he says oh yeah we got the order. Never asked if we wanted it, never offered a refund! I had to ask for the refund and he tells me he couldn't give any refunds! Seriously????? So I do what any respectable Karen would do and contact the customer service people with receipt information, all about the situation and a picture of the receipts (both of them) and I get a email back wanting me to provide all the information. ‍ good to know that competence level is struggling throughout the chain of command at #Sonic. read more
