ADTA is the friendliest group of firearm owners I have ever met. After some very scary incidents of…read moreviolent crime in our community, my mom & I wanted to take firearm safety classes in order to be responsible gun owners. We went to our first ADTA meeting at the Federal Way Senior Center, and instantly felt welcome by the ADTA volunteers. (ADTA is non-profit, and all of the instructors and leaders volunteer their time.) We ended up becoming ADTA members in order to sign up for the gun safety mentoring program. (ADTA's monthly meetings are free and open to the public, but the mentoring and live fire trainings require a roughly $100 yearly membership due to background check and insurance requirements.) We met several afternoons at Tony's home, where he gave us personal, hands-on training in all aspects of gun safety (loading/unloading/holstering/firing/cleaning/etc.) After a few home sessions, we met Tony at the Federal Way Indoor Range to practice "live firing" our guns with his help and coaching. (My mom, who had never handled a gun before, was a better shot than me.) Thanks to Tony and ADTA, we both feel very confident in our marksmanship skills. ADTA has monthly live-fire group practice sessions, and we plan to attend those to keep up on what we learned.

My wife and I were in town with the purpose of selling some gold jewelry and a Gold Type Set,…read more Which included one 20.00 St. Gaudiness Double Eagle, one 10.00 Indian Head, one 5.00 Indian Head and one 2.50 Indian head. All coins were in MS 63/64 condition. Before coming to Seattle I had done some research on gold buyers in the Seattle area. We visited three Gold Burys in and around Seattle. Of all of the dealers we visited we found Zach at Kent Coin & Bullion to be the best choice. He gave us the highest amount for our merchandise. I had done some research before deciding to sell these items, and his offer was the closest to what I calculated. Good person to deal with. Of the three we went to I would not recommend Bellevue Rare Coins, they were the lowest of our three stops. Thanks Zach

I drove a family member at their request to Silverdale Jewelry & Coin. This experienced person previously was with the Goldberg Jewelers before their retirement and passings. Warmly greeted upon our entry. I remained at the seating area by the entrance, while my family member was discussing battery replacements for three watches. There were various glass display cases with assorted merchandise - necklaces, gems, costume jewelry pieces, watches, etc. There was another customer who came in later and inquired to have watches evaluated to sell with another store employee. After a brief wait, the battery replacements and payment were completed. It was nice to see such professionalism and patient pleasantries observed. I've placed screenshots of their current business card via Yelp for future reference.

When I arrived he said it was $30 for a battery change and $25 for a link change (he said if I needed two links which I had, but was missing one of the two pins that would be needed to hold the links together, it would be an additional $10 for the part). I tried to haggle as it is a cash only business, to which he added sales tax to the service. So just over 60 dollars for a battery change and one link put-on. I personally think he was overcharging $5-$10 per service performed (in this case, two). However, he is an expert with years of experience and one of the very few watch makers available in the area. Also, you don't have to ship your watch if you don't want to (like many places require nowadays). There are various ATM's close-by within walking distance. It took Mike about 15 minutes and I would recommend but, must know he is firm with his business and signs are posted that sales are final whether your watch works afterwards or not.

After several days of searching, we called him and he denied having it. When we showed up, there it was in his store. He refused to allow us to have it, even though we had proof it was my father. This guy made the situation much worse. He even wanted my DL, for what I'm not sure. Not sure what rock he climbed out of but he needs to return. One of the worst! Experiences ever. My husband and I have purchased a wide variety of items through their sales, from artwork to vintage perfumes, and we've consistently been impressed by the quality and variety of offerings. What really sets Chris and his team apart is their professionalism. The buyer's premium is reasonable, shipping costs are fair, and every item we've received has been packed carefully and securely. It's clear they take customer satisfaction seriously and understand the importance of handling unique and collectible items properly. The auctions are well organized, descriptions are reliable, communication is excellent, and the entire process--from bidding to delivery--is smooth and hassle-free. Whether you're a seasoned collector or a first-time bidder, you'll feel confident buying from them. As someone who has been on both the buying and selling side, I can say without hesitation that I would trust Chris Foss Auctions to handle my estate. The respect and professionalism they show to both customers and consignors are exactly what I would want in a company representing my family's belongings.
