Had some really bad stains on my jiu jitsu gi and was fearing I would have to buy another gi because nothing I did was getting the stains out (long story but brisket sauce soilled all over panta and bottom portion of the top). Nothing I did got the stains out, but one visit hear, gi is completely white again. They also had it ready the next day! Absolutely will be back. Also, very friendly service. read more

I have been using this dry cleaners for a few years so trusted them to clean my 100% wool sweater I had purchased in Ireland. They totally ruined it. This dry cleaners ruined a pair of pants. They now have a shine to them and they never added a crease down the front/back. I was told I had to ask which has never been the case with other cleaners. The pants looked wrinkled near the cuff, it didn't appear they were cleaned. I had the sleeves on a suit coat altered, it was returned with one sleeve longer than the other. They sent it back for repair, this was very inconvenient. One last comment, when picking up my items, the attendant gave me someone else's clothes...Unbelievable. I do not recommend this cleaner. Beware of alterations as well. read more

I have been here twice now, and both times my dress shirts have been wrinkled. The first time I thought maybe it's because I didn't have them add starch to it. I told the guy who works there about my first incident and he said yeah starch will fix that. Well that didn't work. I had 5 shirts and 3 of them were wrinkled. 2 were barely passable for not wrinkled because they were darker. I couldn't believe my eyes. Terrible. Highly upset. Don't come here. I can only speak to Customer Service, as I refused to leave my cleaning after they informed me that because of a change in management they would not honor a gift certificate. I won the certificate at a Little Elm High School baseball raffle just a few weeks ago. I'm sure that there was miscommunication between the current owner and the previous owner, but good customer service should be the same no matter who owns the business. I'll call it a donation to the team and take my cleaning to a business with a better sense of community. read more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! Monday: Dropped off drapes to be hemmed... and was told to pick up on Thursday. Arrived at 6:03pm on Thursday to find Lapels was CLOSED. Website and door sign says closes at 7:00pm. Friday: Return at 9:00am... drapes are not done. Owner says he will text taylor and call us back. No call. Called Lapels again at 1:00pm... owner states drapes would be done that afternoon or Saturday morning. He will call with update. No call. Saturday: 9:00am called Lapels again... employee was unable to provide a status and had to call owner. Said she would call back. Employee called back to say drapes were complete and ready for pick up. Arrive at Lapels to find our drapes... rolled in a disastrous ball, wrinkled, tangled in leftover threads from taylor... and tossed into a shabby, used Amazon box. Then the Lapels employee proceeded to charge the OUTRAGEOUS FULL PRICE of $129.90... with ZERO effort to offer a discounted rate for inexcusably poor customer service and an exceptionally poor quality 'finished' product. About 2 months ago the owner (I'm sorry I don't remember his name) requested I write a review for his business. I told him I would when the business deserves ( good or bad) a yelp review. I'm happy to say that they earned 5 stars ..... they stained my wife's blouse during the dry cleaning process. I didn't hear about the stain until she was going to wear the blouse. I always went to this place for my dry cleaning, they were prompt in their services. It felt great to know that this place is environmentally friendly. However there was incident that prompted me to never come to this place again. I had just started a job at a hospital and I wanted my scrubs to be altered. I just wanted some length cut down from the pants. I took it here since they do alterations, there was this Hispanic lady that took my order and i remember her putting a slip on top of my scrubs took the slip and put it on top of my scrubs and left. To be fair she did seem busy, and she said they'll call/text once it's done. Two weeks went by and I didn't hear anything, so I went to the store. I asked this white middle age guy up at the front about my scrubs and he said there was no order for it, and the scrubs are taken to a lady ever week, so it might not be done. He asked me what the clothes were, I told him it was just scrub pants that I wanted altered. He then went to the corner floor of the store picked up this bag and brought it to me. Inside, it was indeed my scrubs. He said it's been there for over a week, it didn't have anything written on it to state what needed to be done for it, so it was just left on the floor. I was just mortified and angry, it took every strength in me to not cry in-front of this man. The least they could've done was call me to clarify the order, I don't even know if the lady even took my number. I was just so frustrated and felt so little. All that guy told me was that he was sorry and gave me the reason why it wasn't done. From then on, I never went to that place. read more

I lived in an apartment complex close to this cleaners for about a year and they were really nice, but over and over again my clothes came back from here ruined (an expensive blouse came back with sequins stuck to it (not from my blouse) and pulling them off left a spot in each place. Then many of my expensive white dress shirts (womens) came back extremely gray, a couple of off white blouses, also grey. I did complain, the owner did give me dry cleaning credit, but they continued to ruin things. I have a feeling that they save money by reusing and not distilling their solvent, so the dirt from clothes still in the unclean solvent became deposited on my shirts. I'm not positive that this is the cause, but these shirts became really, really grey, awful.... I am working on them now trying to lift the grey out, if I can't then I guess I will try dyeing the shirts blue, or another color, so sad. read more

Left two shirts, and five pair of khaki pants to be laundered with heavy starch. The charge was $41.00 plus. $6.00 a pair for the pants and $5.00 a shirt. Unbelievable! Then when I get home I discover they don't have heavy starch...what a really bad, unbelievably over priced, cleaners. Absolutely the worst dry cleaning operation in all of Texas. They actually take the trouble to print coupons but don't honor them. The fine print clearly states the coupon must be presented at time of drop-off. They will REFUSE to honor the coupon when you PAY. It's a scam operation. It was my first and last time. Don't waste your money here folks. There are far too many better options, like Diamond off of Coit. Diamond provides Better service, they honor their coupons whenever you present them and let you save it for next time, they charge much less, and are an honorable local store front. read more
