She will also realistically tell you if something cannot be altered (haha- she teasingly told me when I asked what could be done for me to buy spanx and/ or lose 15 lbs but we have become friends so I thought it was hysertical and she was not wrong.. other than I thought it was actually closer to 20 lbs, lol). Her prices for both alterations and dry cleaning are very reasonable She is meticulous with her dry cleaning as well. When I called to ask about this, I was told that it's "normal" for the hem to fall out after some time and that I needed to be more careful with handling the garment. I did not mishandle the garment beyond standard wear by any means. I was also told I'd need to pay again to have them re-hemmed (they did offer a discount). I took the garment back to be re-hemmed at a discount, only for the stitch to fall out again a few months later. I will not be bringing any items back here to be tailored. I expected professional work that lasts -- instead, I got a hem that failed almost immediately and a response that did not take any accountability. Not what I would expect for basic alterations.
