I spent $10K trying to save my dog from some sort of kidney problem at a local vet hospital. When…read moreI took him home he was worse than when he entered, wouldn't eat for 6 days and lay lifeless on the floor. The hospital wouldn't answer any exit questions I had around the medicine they sent him home with making him more sick and suggested I readmit him to speak with a doctor! My local vet also didn't return calls in a timely fashion. They had written him off. My dog was literally dying in front of me and all medical professionals would say is all we have is the medicine and wait and see- there's really nothing else we can do. The medicine, in addition to making him nauseous, was taxing his kidneys and liver - so I'm not sure how it was helping. I wasn't fine letting him die without a fight and I know herbs well. There words sounded crazy (and arrogant) to me - just like human doctors. I don't know kidney disease or animal herbs (which are different) and didn't have the time to do this research, so I searched online and found Five Leaf. The reviews seem to good to be true, but I could see by the herbs being used, it was on track. I didn't know all of them so I stuck the list in ChatGPT and decided they were on target enough to try. I overnighted the kit because I couldn't wait much longer. I really liked that they weren't just saying their tinctures would cure, it's a program and all factors needed to be considered. I started the tinctures and did the first hydrotherapy session with Ty. After the hydrotherapy session, Ty ran around to dry himself off and then I turned to see him standing behind me in my kitchen wagging his tail asking to eat. He has been eating ever since! I am on the third round of tinctures and Ty's blood numbers so far are coming down. Not perfect, but some have normalized and others have come down drastically - like protein in urine went from 23 to 4 - it needs to be at .5, but the last blood test was about 3 weeks ago so I'm anxious to see what happens next. Either way, I have a happy, healthy looking dog back for the most part. He has some stomach issues and reflux but those seem manageable compared to kidney failure. I am hopeful he will come through this. I finally got an appointment with a holistic vet and did some acupuncture as well. She agreed Ty looked well and not to change anything I was doing. The hydrotherapy, the hydration, the food (we have to cook the veggies but use raw protein) and making sure Ty moves are also so important - I can see him slow down when I slack off something. I am adding the water to his food because he is eating but wouldn't drink the amount needed. In between the 4 tincture times, I give Ty watered down bone broth or just a small amount of food stirred into water and he gulps it up. His sister loves this too! Many thanks from my family, for your product and support. Thank you for giving us hope!

A ten star would be more fitting. There is no doubt in my mind that Five leaf pet botanicals has…read moregiven my sweet hound an extra 4 years of life and now also my cat. Both times the vet pretty much told me that there is no hope but they could run expensive tests/treatments and make them feel comfortable. With my dog they even suggested to euthanize him as there is no hope for his stage 4 kidney failure. I am not rich and by no means could I have afforded the expensive, drawn out procedure the vet suggested to keep him alive for a bit longer. However, I love my pets, they are part of my family, so the internet search for some hope and a different/new solution began. I was definitely hesitant after reading the many 5 star ratings for Five leaf and thinking, it sounds too good to be true. But seeing the reasonable cost for the kidney treatment package (considering I've spend $ 400 for the vet just to give me the death sentence) what had I to loose. It took 3 days of treatment and my non responsive, lethargic, non eating four legged friend came back to life. Within 2 month, he looked better and healthier then I've ever seem him, given he was a stray I picked up from the freeway, who, I thought, was fed expensive and well balanced meals. My sweet Domingo, an 80 pound blood hound/shepherd mix lived to approx. 17 years, thanks to Five Leaf Pet Botanicals. A few months ago, I thought I would loose my cat, noticing similar behaviors as in my dog. I didn't even bother with the vet this time but quickly contacted Five leaf to see if I can do the same treatment for my cat. Yes was the answer. In short, cat is back to it's annoying self, healthy as can be, shinier fur and one might say even better attitude as before. I am also treating currently a stray cat with the same botanicals and it has shown much improvement. Definitely a miracle cure if I ever seen one and can only recommend it to anyone whose pet is on it's death bed. Don't euthanize, try the Five Leaf treatment first. It's worth every penny and a huge chance your pet will live. So very thankful to this company and founder to have created this wonderful treatment for our beloved pets.

Hamish is our beloved almost 16 year old dog who had been increasingly in pain and panting, showing signs of dementia, and losing the ability to get up off the floor without assistance. Making the decision to put him to sleep was so very difficult. We were so relieved to find a vet who could provide a relaxing outdoor setting without the stress of a traditional veterinary hospital. Tender Comforts In home Pet Euthanasia is set on a farm in the country, so, on a plush blanket laid on grass and clover, underneath an oak tree, with a picnic table and benches available, beloved Hamish was able to gently leave behind his pain and anxiety with the help of Dr. Craig Little and Nurse Cindy. They explained everything that was going to take place and chatted with us which helped us relax. And of course they handled Hamish gently and compassionately. I was able to sit on the grass right next to Hamish and pet him constantly throughout the procedure. They explained some things along the way which was helpful. I remember Dr. Little reaching across Hamish with his stethscope to listen to his heartbeat, and gently indicating to me that he was gone. We were not rushed away; I was able to continue petting and talking to Hamish as long as I wanted to. My husband and I, as well as Hamish, were treated with great respect. Before we left, there were hugs all around. I noticed that when we left, Cindy got on the ground with Hamish and continued to pet and care for him. So for Hamish, it was a day that began with a breakfast of brownies, ham and cereal, which was followed by a nice ride in the car to Readington, where he got out onto a grassy field with a cozy blanket waiting for him to rest upon, and friendly people waiting to help him. Yes we are sad, and yes, we miss him, but the quality of care we received from Tender Comforts In home Pet Euthanasia definitely has helped us get through it. I should also mention that Dr. Little's wife Susie was our first contact with Tender Comforts In home Pet Euthanasia. She set up our appointment, and facilitated changing the times when we requested it. She was very compassionate! I also need to mention that we were given a sympathy card with wild flower seeds and a pamphlet on coping on the loss of a companion animal. I would not hesitate to use this service again, and highly recommend them to anyone who needs it for their pet. This is a tremendous resource!

Susie and Dr. Craig go way beyond mere daycare and understand each dog as an individual. They cater to doggy preferences (and they love and board cats, too). Dr. Fragola so thoroughly and empathetically captured the roller coaster I had been on for the past five weeks, and I finally felt certain that it was the right time to end my cat Claudette's suffering. After submitting an online inquiry at night, I received a phone call less than twenty minutes later. From that first conversation through the thoughtful "how are you doing" follow-ups, Paws at Peace's compassion, understanding, and professionalism were authentic and unmistakable. Dr. Jennifer Lander came to our home the next day and could not have been kinder. She was patient, gentle, and genuinely interested in learning about Claudette and her life with us--later reflecting those details in a heartfelt sympathy card. The process was unrushed and deeply respectful. I will always remember the salmon paste she brought as a final treat; Claudette went crazy for it, and it's a fond last memory with our precious girl. This was the hardest moment my husband and I have faced together so far, but Paws at Peace made an unfathomable experience as peaceful as it could possibly be. I am deeply thankful for their care and cannot recommend them highly enough.
