I finally found a vet I can trust with my babies!! I have two Chihuahuas, Zen (boy) and Zoe (girl)…read more Zen is a rescue, Zoe I've had since she was 7.5 weeks. The staff was extremely kind to both me and my dogs. Zen has a questionable past (possible abuse?) And everyone was so patient & sweet with him. Zoe can be a little mouthy lol, but they knew exactly how to handle her. I had been procrastinating getting Zoe spayed, mostly because of my fear of surgery. When I decided to have it done, they held my hand through the entire process and calmed my fears. Zoe came through like a champ!! I think you guys are stuck with me. Thanks for taking such good care of Zen and Zoe!!

I've been bringing my dog to this practice for 9 years, long before it became CARE VET…read more Unfortunately, my first visit under the new ownership was very disappointing solely because of Dr. Alina Tsavera the medical director . I did not have a personal interaction with her but she made a very neglectful decision on a matter involving my pets medical care . My dog was prescribed ear drops, but the vet tech did not attach the correct tip when administering them in the office, which resulted in about 75% of the medication being lost. I didn't realize until I got home that the bottle was almost empty. When I called, the situation was not handled well by her and the explanation given by the tech did not match what happened. After spending nearly $500 at the visit, it was frustrating to feel like Dr Tsavera's solution was not that the office replace them rather I can buy more . That insinuates I am at fault . Why should I pay for another bottle ? I never used the first bottle prescribed only the tech did in the office and it was almost empty when I took it out of the box at my house and opened it. She was unwilling to allow the office to take any means of responsibility or hold staff accountable . She shifted blame and automatically pointed fault at the customer. I stated if this was not handled with consideration and fairness I would no longer bring my dog there . She was satisfied with loosing a patient over 40$ ear drops . She also was aware there was not enough drops for my dogs ear infection due to the tech mishandling them . That alone proves who is behind this business a cold and dismissive heart does not belong in this business ! Shane, the office manager, was wonderful--kind, helpful, and understanding. Dr. Magee at this practice is wonderful as well ! However, Dr. Alina Tsavera was nothing short of a nightmare !

While there was only one situation where we saw Dr Lynch where we were trying to assess a vomiting issue ($500 all day stay, with tests and no resolution) and later Dr Clark prescribed simple regular Pepcid dosing that seemed to nearly completely solve the issue, our experience has been overall great. I have seen other reviews that speak about how practical they are - not looking to push for expensive treatments when there's a simpler answer (Dr Clark seems very adept at the simple solution, once with a knee issue that we solved with anti-inflamatory meds and glucosamine, and later with the vomiting situation) and I totally agree with those reviews. Ultimately it was Dr Werner who helped us put our beloved girl down and they handled it so well. We got an appointment same day, late in the day when there were no other visits. Dr Werner did a final exam to assure us this was the right time (and also noted to us how hard it was in that she was behaving like a puppy while she was a mess otherwise). We were devastated and they were so compassionate even with after care (complimentary paw print, ashes returned promptly, follow-up sympathy card with grief recourses etc.). We believe we will be back someday with another rescue. Thank you Werner AH *heart emoji* !!

My house looks like a patchwork quilt, as I had to put carpet everywhere since he can longer walk on hardwood or ceramic tile floors without slipping and falling. He has not come near these two spaces since before his diagnoses. This is huge for him. He also has gone up and down the steps several times without circling and crying. The treatments and recommendations from her made a life changing difference for him. I am humbled and so grateful for her and look forward future visits and increasing quality of life for my dog. I urge everyone to read the reviews on this clinic before taking their pet to see Dr. Tucker. I…read morewish I had, and now it's too late. We moved to the area in late 2025 and, on the recommendation of someone, took our much-loved elderly dog (12 years old) to sign up. It's a quirky set-up, in an old purple Victorian 'Addams Family' style house, and you feel like you are in someone's living room. Weird but I didn't mind that. Dr Tucker seemed friendly and kind, and all seemed well. I thought it was expensive, but we are new to the country (from Australia), and all healthcare is expensive in the US, right? Before I go on the rest, I'd like to say that the reception staff here are lovely, polite and professional - I have no issue with them. We noticed our dog was peeing a lot and there was blood in her pee. Dr. Tucker took urine tests twice over 3 weeks ($350). Results were: nothing sinister, and were sent home with Vitamin K tablets (and still no clue as to why?). The issue continued - the blood cleared up, but the constant peeing got worse. In July she was showing some incontinence and the blood returned with a vengeance. More urine tests ($650 for those alone), an X-ray, and blood tests (or so we thought, but they didn't happen), and we were sent home with antibiotics. A week later, Dr Tucker called with the words "It's good news, it's not cancer, come back if she gets any worse". Well, she did, and we decided to take her to another vet, who, within 10 minutes, took an ultrasound that showed a 3cm x 2 cm tumour on her bladder. A further specialised test showed a definitive diagnosis of Transitional Cell Carcinoma, an aggressive and devastating cancer NOT uncommon in dogs and cats. 6 months after first symptoms, it is too late to help her; we can only give her pain relief and enjoy our last weeks, or even days, we have left with her. We spent $2000 over 3 visits with Dr Tucker who repeated the same tests and did not even suggest there was such a thing as TCC - She did suggest an ultrasound in our last visit and we agreed to wait for the test results - but when we heard "good news, it's not cancer" she did not urge an ultrasound, and how were we to know that TCC existed? Less than a week later, we spent $550 on one consultation and a specific test needed for the diagnosis. When I called Dr Tucker to tell her the news and to ask why she hadn't even considered this 'common cancer' (for which my dog had ALL the symptoms) that doesn't always show up in regular cytology urine tests, all she said was, "Well, I'm sorry you are sad, and I'm sorry your dog has cancer." I get that the outcome of cancer was not Dr. Tucker's fault, but this slack and lazy approach, without looking at ALL the possibilities, has caused our dog pain and suffering for more than 6 months, which could have been avoided, and has denied us the option of giving her treatment when the tumour was small enough to be treated. After 12 years of the best veterinary care from our previous vet, this has been devastating. BUYER BEWARE. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET, DO NOT GO TO THIS VET. **Another thing: ** She charges 3.99% on all card payments (including debit cards). Charging debit cards is not allowed in New Jersey.

We have had both a cat and dog who we had to have treated there and who had to be put to sleep. The process was done in such a sensitive and caring way that truly made this hard choice somewhat easier. In addition we had to use the Oncology department there with Dr. Seth Glasser for our dog Buster. All I can say is that the level and quality of care in the oncology department with Dr. Glasser is second to none. I wish Humans received the same level of care that he and his team provides to their patients. The animals are excited to see the team, they are called by name (both first and last), and when they are scared the team finds a way to comfort and soothe them. All I can say is if your pet needs help with their cancer treatment, you have found the doctor and team that you should be working with. My dog lived a happy and comfortable life with the treatment they provided and if we ever have to go through this with another pet I would absolutely seek their help.
