I was also surprised that the dish lacked vegetables...it was garnished with raw red onion, cilantro, and some horrible dry store-bought brand crunchy noodles. We had to push a gross (obviously smeared and dirty) button to make the robot go away after bringing our food. And we could tell that the waitress was also annoyed by it, as she had to walk it through the restaurant like it was a toddler taking its first steps. So dumb. The Cashew Nut Chicken was prefect. It was a good spice level that was still very flavorful, and not melt you mouth. It was a perfect size for someone who is pretty hungry for lunch, but doesn't make you feel like you need to take a nap afterwards. The Tom Kha soup was very good as well. Flavorful, filled with tons of mushrooms and chicken. It was a large amount to that I was able to save for the next day's lunch, and looking forward to that today. I was pretty hungry and took a bite and still burned my tongue because it was still scalding hot. I'm disappointed about that as I suffered the rest of my night at my event at Moda. However, the price was reasonable and the red curry was darn tasty, and it was a great portion size. It took about 20 min before it wasn't scalding hot but because it was a tall narrow container, it wasn't going to cool quickly. Why couldn't they have given a proper disposable bowl. That would have made it safer to eat and I probably wouldn't have burned my tongue. 20 min is a long time for food to cool down. I think this was a one off incident, but I want to post this to let the owner know, they shouldn't be serving scalding hot curry to their customers. Watch the temperature of your foods, please. I still loved the flavor so much that I will come back, hopefully when I don't have an event at Moda and hopefully it isn't scalding hot.
