We went into the Turner McCall store on 4 January and placed our order. Johnathan was very professional and helpful in answering our questions and placing the order since the Alcatel model we wanted was not in stock. He advised us that the phone was on back-order and would not be shipped to our house until mid-February to sometime in March. Much to our surprise it arrived by UPS on 11 Jan. I don't know if I got fat fingered during the setup of the phone or what happened, but somehow the SIM card PIN became locked and I could not access the cellular network to complete the activation. I could connect to my WiFi with no problem. I tried doing a factory reset on the phone but the end result was the prompt on the screen indicated that I had to call customer service at T-Mobile to try and correct the problem I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with a tech rep with no success and was advised to return to the store for a new SIM card. The store is very close to the house so I zipped right over. I am sorry I did not get the young man's name that helped me, but within a matter of minutes he had the old SIM out and a new card installed. He completed the activation for me very quickly and I was on my way with no additional charges. The folks in that store are very helpful and all professional. The store is very clean and well laid out and I might add that if you go in during the freezing cold of winter, you should be comfortable in beach attire while there. It is cozy, but feel free to take off your heavy jackets before you go in. The service was perfect and I am happy to do business with them and to have received their expert support.

Stuff like this should be taken accountable and if you're the "manager" you should be professional, calm, and not be given a customer attitude. He looked at us weird since we first walked in like he was some type of racist and colorist. Please hire better managers/staff. Also I just found out that the "worker" Corey lied about this rank so that we could not have a right in saying what we had to say.

When I tried calling the local office, someone with an accent started screaming at me. I asked to speak to someone in the local office, and he started yelling asking if I thought Windstream started in Dalton Ga. He just kept screaming that I needed to call customer service and hung up on me. I called same number back and he went straight to yelling and screaming telling me not to ever call that number again, and then hung up. I didnt get to say anything. A couple of c/s ppl have helped, but when you have talked with 20 of them and only 2 tried. Thats bad.

The customer service is awful. They make it very difficult to speak to a person. They are rude, not…read morefriendly, and the English is poor. they charge $6.95 to run your card, and if it doesn't go through they will continue to run it, while charging $6.95 each time. Asking a person to reverse these charges is near impossible.. also my service would lag a lot, and randomly go out, taking up to 10 minutes each time to reconnect. The charge of $128 a month is ridiculous. I wouldn't use them if you have another choice.
