It's too bad all the nice doctors and nurses have such a horrible office staff to work for. The billing and scheduling department is very rude. Good luck getting an appointment with a specific doctor for any reason. They also don't schedule out a year in advance and when the window to schedule a well-child appointment comes around you'll be given a date two months or more later than you want. They also have several workers in the office but can't figure out how to stagger lunch breaks because the office is closed from 11:30-12:30. It's September 2022 and they still won't allow patients in the waiting rooms due to COVID. What other doctor's office still has this policy? I understand the FDA recommendation for masks but to not allow patients in the waiting room is rude. read more

Took my child in for a sick visit and after I arrive I find out they no longer do testing at the doctors office to help diagnose your child. They instead send you to the old Sears drive up, seemed like a waist of my time. They need better tools within the Doctors office for diagnosis. There then was zero follow up to make sure my child was ok. This was my first time seeing Dr. Klien. Even my 6 year old was questioning asking why they did not help her. I had to take my child to the ER the next morning. There are still illnesses other than COVID. The last 6 years with a total of 14+ have not been the best. There is a lack of communication and when I advocate for my child this pushes their buttons and they don't know how to handle it. read more

We really like my baby's doctor, Dr. Klein, and have had a good experience with other doctors when he had to see them, but the office staff are incredibly rude, lack basic compassion and empathy, and it takes forever to get through to them most of the time. When I was less than a week postpartum with terrible anxiety, depression, extremely low milk supply and a child who wouldn't nurse, the people on the medical advice line treated me like I was a problem and they were very disrespectful about our decision to seek chiropractic care for my infant from a trusted provider who helped me during pregnancy and works with lots of babies. Another time I and my son both had COVID and I called to cancel his appointment only an hour before (I understand that's not ideal) and I guess it was my bad for being honest that we'd had it for awhile, I had just forgotten to call because I got very sick and was having a hard time holding it together (plus his appointment was a Monday morning so I couldn't call over the weekend). In no moment did the office staff person express any concern or empathy for me or my son having COVID, she just expressed disapproval for the late cancellation and said she "couldn't guarantee we would not be charged." Even if they do have to charge us, OK, but you could at least be kind about it and not make me feel like our health struggles are a major annoyance to her when she literally works at a doctor's office. What the hell. I am too overwhelmed to look for another provider for my son right now but I will probably switch eventually just to not have to deal with the office staff. read more

We've been taking our son to Lansing Peds since he was born (April 2007), and we've always been extremely happy with them. The doctors are great, and the nurses and office staff are wonderful, too. We never have to wait long to see the doctor, and the staff really tries to get your kiddo in ASAP when he/she is sick. Bonus: They have a nurse line, which is really handy for problems that aren't necessarily serious enough to warrant hauling your kid into the doctor. They also have a lactation consultant on staff. One caution: They'll only see kids who they've seen since birth (in what I assume is a way to limit their practice), so if you want to get in with them, you have to have them see your baby right in the hospital. read more

They are amazing. Was on vacation and had to take my son here, they were extremely nice and patient. They helped reassure me and sent my 9 month old home with a little toy! Their waiting room is GREAT for kids of all ages and very very clean! Doctors and staff were great too. Med students are clearly still learning, but hey that's why their students I guess. read more

Great doctor office. The waiting room is clean and they usually call you in right away. If your child is scared the staff is very kind and calming, and you can get stickers afterwards which my child loves. :) read more

My kids are with this practice for 8 years , the doctors are wonderful and the service is good. What is really bad is the wait time to reach the appointment scheduler or the nurse line. The average wait time even to schedule an appointment is 45 - 50 minutes. Yes , many times my phone would have died on me or i would have lost my patience and taken my child to the urgent care. If you do not call them between 8:00 - 8:15 am all appointments for the day is gone. Beats the purpose of having them as your primary care pediatrician. I will not recommend this practice to anyone who has yound child who falls sick often and needs doctor visit more often. read more

We love the care we receive and we absolutely love Dr. Culton. With three kids it seems like we are there at least once a month and the nurses and Dr. Culton know us by now. But, they clearly have way too many patients. In the 7 years we have been going there, it's just gotten worse. You can never get a sick appointment on the day you call. I consistently call first thing in the morning (this morning I called 15 minutes after they opened) and they can never see my sick child on the day I call. They refer you to Urgent Care... Which is $30 more for us. Sooo frustrating. They need fewer patients or a bigger office with a larger staff (it seems huge already). We will stay because we like Dr. Culton. But, I don't want to take my child to Urgent Care. I want to take him to his doctor. read more

If I could give this practice zero stars, I would. It is unfortunate, because the doctors are great. The issue is with their billing department. We have two little kids; they get sick. The front office repeatedly let us know we would not be charged a late fee if the kids became better before their sick visit checkups. Long behold, we get a bill from the billing department, after I cancelled the sick visit the morning of. When explaining the situation, billing was rude and would not budge because they didn't have "record" of my number calling in their system. I have two witnesses that heard me make that phone call. Why is it my problem they didn't record my call? So I paid them a late fee. They continually nickel and dimed us in this way. Quit nickel and diming families! You are ruining your reputation through bad business. Get rid of whoever is in charge of billing. Being in charge of financial matters is not their forte. My children have been with this practice since birth, we ended up having to leave because of this, and they charged me a $40 transfer fee. Most practices handle this as a professional courtesy. Courtesy does not exist in this place. I hope they can turn the department around... read more

Do NOT go here. They have way too many patients and you can not get in to see them. We always end up going to an after-hours clinic. Doctors are in too much of a hurry and miss conditions and have misdiagnosed my daughter 3 times - one of which was extremely serious. The male doctors are rude and often bully the parents/patients. Office staff have cancelled scheduled appointments and/or changed the appointment time without notifying parents. Their billing practices are also questionable. Have had to contact insurance company 3 times to dispute charges that office billed for and should not have. Think twice before going here. read more
