Meant to be! Catch My Thrift has been open for a few months, according to the people working at the store. They offer a variety of vintage items at reasonable prices. They're not the lowest price, nor are they the highest. They had many useful things, and some wonderfully fanciful items. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. They knew the inventory and politely suggested similar items when appropriate. We'll definitely stop by again. I'm curious to see what they have on our next visit

Thrift & Thrive is the new, larger thrift store run by the nonprofit Domestic Abuse Project of…read moreDelaware County. They previously ran Nana's Attic in Broomall (now closed). I stopped by a few days ago to check out their new store. It's significantly bigger than Nana's Attic, which means it feels far less cramped. Yay! Still very good prices, the "yellow tag" items are consignment and generally higher priced than the store's donated stock. It about killed my soul to see an awesome vintage salt & pepper mixed in with newer dishes in a consignment lot. Aaah! Staff are great, the store is clean and bright. I'll definitely be back. Note: angled parking in front of the building is NOT free, Pontiac is a public street, and those are pay at kiosk metered spots.

I didn't see any deals at all. The big reason I won't ever go back, though, is because every week, the owner of this store places half a dozen posts for free on Craigslist in the "Garage Sale" category. That is really unethical and wrong. This is absolutely a business with a storefront but it seems to be trying to mislead people with the CL posts. The guy should be paying to advertise like any other business. Personally, I think that says something about a person and their business practices.

And apparently everyone agrees because I've gone in multiple times and it's always the same records, torn up and disheveled. But at the same high price. Oh well, I guess the owner is dense.
