And the person there was very helpful and gave me a very fair price. I considered using a mail on appraisal to an online company, but I looked at the prices they had paid on some of the jewelry the had purchased on the web site And I felt like the offer from Shai town was better. They had told me that I could sell it as a wedding ring Ian's could probably get it better price, but I sold it for meltdown value and i appreciated them explaining how they came to price offered.

Owners Stephen…read moreand Stephanie are so kind, communicative, and easy to work with, and their whole team is great too. When I brought in some jewelry to sell, they had it inspected by a well-respected local jeweler before the auction. That gave them documentation and more details to share with potential buyers. One piece had a clasp that had been replaced with a lower karat gold than the rest of the piece. Catching that actually helped establish the piece's higher value, which is something I never would have thought to check myself. I also love following their social media and have learned so many fun facts about antiques. At this point, Steve should really go on Jeopardy! Their online auctions are so convenient, and now that they offer shipping, I can even recommend them to friends who live out of state. They're a genuinely great local business, and I am proud to support them.

I wish I could give less than one star. While the store appears to carry quality products, my…read moreexperience was overshadowed by an interaction with an employee named Dierdre. Her tone was condescending and dismissive, and the overall interaction made me feel unwelcome as a customer. Rather than being helpful, the attitude came across as unnecessarily unpleasant and unprofessional. Customer service plays a huge role in the overall experience, and unfortunately this interaction completely undermined what could have been a positive visit. There are many other places to shop where courtesy and basic respect are still part of the experience. I won't be returning.

I've been a customer for over 4 years as a buyer, and they make it easy for the buyer to get great items. I prefer online auctions, and their photos are always top notch with excellent titles that are always exactly what the item is. They include photos that show everything - especially any chips or imperfections and measurements. That's more than the majority of eBay sellers do! This means they get top dollar for the items, because if it looks perfect you know it is! I do a lot of research, so I have gotten items for a great price that others didn't realize were valuable, but I'm always happy with the price I paid and I know that the estate is making good money, too! They give a 4 hour window for pickup, every lot is clearly numbered, and my pickups (over 50 - sometimes I go to 2 houses on both Sat and Sun!) may take a while because I buy so much, but I'm never made to feel rushed (I get there at least an hour before the ending time so I don't make them stay longer than the stated time - that's just being a good person and not a Karen) and they always go smoothly! I don't usually buy heavy items or furniture because I'm by myself, but I have brought friends to help with a wicker sofa and chairs, as it's always clearly stated it's the customers responsibility to pack and carry their own items. That's true of all in person estate sales and online pickups. I've become a reseller in the last year, and I will continue to keep bidding! Everyone that works there is respectful, organized, and efficient. From Michelle (one of the owners), to Robin, Mel, Judy, Amanda, Jen, Jess, Michael, Bill, Gloria, and others that I forgot their names (sorry!), their team is my favorite! They learned my name after just a few times, which has always impressed me. I recommend them to literally everyone I meet, and there are a few estate sale companies that I will never go to in person or buy from online again- so I'm picky!
