Writing this review as a BUYER at a sale run by this company (specifically someone named Aubrey…read moreGledhill). Came to a sale this past weekend and was pretty shocked at the unreasonable pricing on nearly everything in the house in question. As an example: Lily Pulitzer dresses priced at $20 each, when a resale shop would easily put them at $10. Was also there at the second half of the *last* day of the sale, yet Ms. Gledhill was deeply uninterested in making any kind of deals or accepting offers. I noted that a woman was interested in an extremely large and heavy hanging bell that was sitting unpriced in the basement, for which Ms. Gledhill wanted $50. When the woman said that seemed like too much, Ms. Gledhill copped quite an unprofessional attitude in her expression of disinterest in negotiating. I also must say I was shocked at Ms. Gledhill's attire. If this is meant to be an upscale estate sale agency, you would not have surmised this by her manner of dress; she seemed as if she had just come from a yoga class, and not like someone present and representing a classy agency looking to help turn over high end estates. At the same time, it seemed like there were many higher value items whose prices had been overlooked, so ironically I bought an epensive blazer and an vintage sweater for $5 each. If I was the *seller*, I would be quite irritated to know this. Based on what I observed as a *buyer*, I would not suggest turning to this agency for your estate sale needs.

cant say enough good things about the complete service I got from audrey and her dad . i…read morerequested her to sell or donate and get rid of everything . she went above and beyond empty house and cleaned it sparkled . I had no idea the amount on 2nd floor and basement was full. Even after my granddauther took a lot I can't do stairs for last 4 years so confined to 1st floor

The set-up for our sale was OK, and we had high hopes. Sharon had several pleasant women who…read moreworked hard to organize things. In the contract, it is mentioned that the homeowners were NOT to be present for the sale, so we have no comments on that. It was after the sale that things really fell apart. Sharon only had two men helping to clear out a 7-bedroom Victorian with a full basement and large garage. They could not have been worse! We could hear many things crashing to the basement floor as they worked down there. Books that Sharon had promised would be donated, were thrown out the basement window into a dumpster. The men spent a lot of time talking and laughing, which slowed down the clean-out considerably. At least one time they left our house with doors completely open with all lights on and the air conditioner at 60 degrees on a 95 degree night. We could not check every night, but this could have happened more than that once. What was the huge rush to get out of the house that they could not have taken 5 minutes to close it properly? Or were they leaving the house open for others co come and take things? I don't like to think that way, but it was very suspicious. Keys to our house were carelessly left under a chair on the front porch. A riding mower was "stolen". In 41 years of living in this house, nothing was ever stolen. There was absolutely no supervision of the two men. Sharon was off to another sale, and no-one was in charge. We asked that one item possibly going to auction, have a reserve, and returned to us if it did not sell. It never went to auction, but it was not returned to us. The items that did go to auction were auctioned in mid-June. Over two months later, when I asked for a re-cap, we were sent a check for the auction proceeds. When we got the receipt for what was donated, it was blank. I know we are to assign prices, but we have no idea what was donated, and what was dumped. Sharon said that some of our items were donated to a Goodwill in a town where there is no Goodwill! The path of least resistance for the two clean-out men was definitely the dumpster, and they took full advantage of that. We have many friends in our situation of living in large houses, downsizing, and moving to retirement communities. We will surely warn them not to use Fixed2Sell.
