Spring knee length duster (baltman & Co -Saks fifth Ave brand)
    Uptown D.

So I stumbled across this location while I was headed to a consignment shop around the corner (can't remember the name smh, I'm getting old lol)... When I first entered I was greeted by a sales woman. Let me not forget to mention that this location is huge (furniture, clothes)but the shoes selection is scarce tho smh and the kids section had nothing really interesting lol .Ok but now to the good part lol I found an knee length tan duster (light spring coat) from Saks fifth Ave that looked brand new and high waisted skirt ,which is always a timeless piece... so overall my experience was pleasant and I will be back

New managers are very nice, has a nice retail appeal while still at a very affordable cost.

Unlike most thrift stores, they have a bathroom and fitting rooms, which are both a huge plus.

I stopped by a few days ago to check out their new store. It's significantly bigger than Nana's Attic, which means it feels far less cramped. Yay! Still very good prices, the "yellow tag" items are consignment and generally higher priced than the store's donated stock. It about killed my soul to see an awesome vintage salt & pepper mixed in with newer dishes in a consignment lot. Aaah! Staff are great, the store is clean and bright. I'll definitely be back. Note: angled parking in front of the building is NOT free, Pontiac is a public street, and those are pay at kiosk metered spots.

I have been a customer at this store since it was called Nana's Attic. Today I was there, looking for furniture. The selection was a bit overpriced for the quality. Suddenly, I needed to use the restroom. The woman working informed me that they did not have a public restroom and that I could go to the Dollar Tree next door. The Dollar Tree did not have a usable restroom. I returned to thrift and thrive because, quite frankly, I was literally about to pee myself. I begged to use the employee bathroom. The employees lied to my face and said that there was no bathroom in the entire store. Yeah right, if that's true, then that's a worker's rights violation, and they would not be in business. I explained that I was having an emergency and they did not care. It really stinks to be a loyal patron of a store, then to be treated so poorly in return. Particularly during a vulnerable moment. There are plenty of better thrift stores in the area with better prices AND customer bathrooms. It's a shame that a store that has such a great mission doesn't provide a great shopping experience.

This is a ginormous thrift store, and the chances are that you will find what whatever it is you're looking for: clothing, jewelry, accessories, housewares, furniture, and books. I seldom leave here disappointed. Prices are low, even for a thrift store, and what's even better is that they usually run sales depending on the color of the merchandise's tag. This is an outreach organization with a strong Christian mission to aid distressed families, which is why you will see and hear Christian-themed programming in the store. A few drawbacks: No fitting rooms and no bathrooms. Adding these facilities would be a tremendous help to shoppers and would even increase sales. I won't deduct stars for these flaws because there's way more good than bad here. Come and shop your heart out without making too much of a dent in your bank account. That's as good as it gets!

If I'm spending money in your store don't talk to me with your back turned, beyond rude. I asked the. Guy if they check the game and puzzle piece boxes for all pieces and he curtly said no, I said uh okay so can we return them if they are not complete he snidely said no. My question is why would you sell them then? I don't think many people want a puzzle or game with half the pieces missing.

I am goig to post here since they keep deleting my Google review…read more I was a new donor there, only was able to donate twice. They took a sample of my blood then days later all of a sudden, I was told by Ms Laura Harris that I tested positive for Hepatitis B and I got permanently deferred. I'm like wait a minute hold on, I get tested regularly and have never been told I have had Hep B before in my life... so I knew something was wrong with these results. I then went to a STD testing site that SAME DAY and 3 business days later my results came back from them that I tested negative for Hep B and of course everything else. So of course I called and emailed Laura back and she ignored all of my emails and calls until she finally answered the phone. I was met with a nonchalant response, not sympathetic or anything when I told her that the false positive results that she was so happy to tell me was indeed that, FALSE results. She was given proof via email and still didn't get a response. Why so people take such joy in giving you bad news but when you tell them that they made a mistake and were wrong they all of a sudden go ghost. She was very unprofessional and need further training or find something else to do. She still hasn't helped with this matter and now I have to make this a legal matter. Somebody in this facility f*cked up bad and got my blood test tube mixed up with an infected person and now y'all have a Hep B positive person still in there donating and yall dont even know who it is because yall made a mistake. Telling people that they have something causes distress and anxiety and the way Ms Harris handled it was very unprofessional. BEWARE DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY BECAUSE THEY WILL MESS UP YOUR RESULTS AND YOU WILL GET DEFERRED FOR NO REASON!
