The owner, Nick, is not only fair and professional, but he also brings a great sense of humor to the shop--which truly makes a difference. When you walk in stressed or worried, that kind of atmosphere matters. The entire staff makes you feel welcome and at ease. Although there are several automotive shops in Calumet City to choose from, I genuinely felt that God led me to this one--and I've never been disappointed. Over the years, I've brought in a 2001 Jaguar, a 2010 Mazda CX-9, and even a 2023 Toyota Camry with a small dent. Each time, the service has been top-notch. I highly recommend River Oaks L&E Automotive. If you're looking for trustworthy, skilled, and personable service--you won't be disappointed.

Discerning clients, look no further!…read more Tim Creed is the absolute best-- he will under promise and over deliver every time. If Tim says it will be done, trust him. If he says it might not be done, it still mostly likely will. He is a man of his word, who works hard and takes pride in both the final outcome and his client relationships-- what more could you ask for? I had done copious research before entrusting my car to Tim. I had spoken with multiple competitors, suppliers (of reconditioned and OEM parts), and friends who had recently had repair work done. Through this process, I have learned more about auto body repair than I ever expected to know. And I can say with certainty that my family and I (with four cars in our household) will only work with Tim going forward. I picked up my car today, with replaced bumper cover, grille and parking sensor. I could not be happier with the end result. The car was clearly worked on with care-- and returned clean, inside and out. The process from beginning to end was seamless, with Tim navigating the repairs and Linda (the CFO) as the primary touch point. There was never a moment in which I suspected that my car had been forgotten about or was lingering too long at any point in the process. All of the work was completed within 3 days of drop-off, even though a supplement was needed from insurance (upon discovering further damage). Thank you, Tim-- you really are the best! We will see you again, I'm sure.

They do not accept debit or credit cards which was not communicated to us when we drop the car off. Initially we were told they will keep the car for three days to fix the mirror while they ended up doing it the same day. After picking the car up, we encountered some new sensor malfunction light. The "solution" we received was to wash the car (on our own). While arguing with the owner/manager she commented that she didn't even wanted to fix the car to begin with (but not informing us about this otherwise we would obviously pick a different shop). Finally they "generously" agreed to wash it. The issue persisted. Also, it is unacceptable to say "it is just a mirror" while she had no problem taking the cash for the "job" that was done or rather lack of it. Do NOT recommend it!!! The overall "fix" is that they DID NOT FIX it, put the old mirror back. We will be going to another shop.
