Lanny Huck Drywall did an amazing job on our bedroom remodel! We had a bedroom in our house with terrible painted paneling walls and a sheetrock ceiling that looked like a kindergartener finger-painted on the joint compound. We ripped the walls out and got a quote from Dillon to sheetrock and mud the walls and re-mud the ceiling. His quote was reasonable and he worked around our schedule to get it done in 3 days (over the course of 1.5 weeks). The finish job was beautiful and the workers were quiet and polite and didn't leave a mess. We will definitely call them back whenever we have more drywall work! read more

I have been working on a home renovation in Aptos for months. I have had my share of less than reliable sub contractors along the way, but Lanny Huck did not disappoint. I wanted my entire house re-textured and it was a challenge. Prior owners used unskilled laborers and my house was textured differently throughout the house. Lanny was a god send to me. He jumped on the job quickly, gave me a reasonable quote, and although unforeseen issues emerged, he did not raise his price. Lanny is professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. He got my job done in half the time I expected it to be done which was so wonderful. I would use Lanny again in a heart beat and plan to recommend him to everyone looking for the services Lanny provides. read more

Lanny and his team performed a fantastic job on our living room ceiling. The previous owners did a horrible patchwork on the drywall that was so bad it made the San Andres fault look like a dream. We had the whole ceiling redone with orange peel - about 143 sq ft. The ceiling now looks brand new as if construction on our home just finished. The only concern we had was when a very small portion of the ceiling had a small bubble but after letting it dry and set for a few days it went away. We're not sure if it will be an issue in the years to come, but Lanny was more than happy to come check back if it does become a problem down the road. Great service, fast and reliable. The best part is that he is local! Highly recommend him. read more

To get to the point, Lanny came through with flying colors. I hired Lanny to drywall and texture my whole house after a major remodel. The house is 95 years old and had a number oddities like blending in with some existing lathe and plaster among other things. For this project he subed out some of the tasks to groups of workers he has worked with before for the different stages. The all were professional and did good work. I was concerned about how the texture would turn out and Lanny offered to show me a home he just did that had the same texture. I went and saw and knew at that point, I could count on Lanny to do the job right. And it turned out great. Thank you Lanny! read more

I hired a General Contractor to put a garage addition and Master Suite onto my house. When it came time to do the drywall, his drywall contractor couldn't do the work. I made some calls and found Lanny. He came out the same day and by that evening, we had a quote to do the work. The price was reasonable, we arranged a schedule and Lanny got to work. The project was finished on time, and the work was top notch! My partner and I are very happy! read more

Lanny did a great job. Good local service provider - great job - and on time and on budget.

I highly recommend Lanny and his team. He responded to my initial phone call in less than 24 hours. His communication was excellent, over text and/or by phone. The work was perfect And the price was extremely fair and competitive. I had a small bathroom that needed rock, tape and texture. It was completed in a day, and he even moved the time to coordinate with my other contractors. I have 2 other bathrooms to do, and I will use Lanny again. I had a leak in my plumbing that damaged my ceiling downstairs. I called several people but was impressed with Lanny's quick and friendly response. I sent him photos, he gave me a quote and then he and Dillon came out and did the work exactly as planned. The patching they did matches perfectly to the existing areas and I couldn't be happier. The best part is that it was so stress free! They were very professional and easy to deal with. read more

Lanny and Dillon just completed fantastic work for us, and I must say it was one of our best contractor experiences ever. We had several smallish wall repair projects in our home and Lanny was the first to respond and say he could do it, but that I needed to wait three weeks. Since it was so hard getting anyone to respond, let alone come out, I agreed. Lanny communicated with me throughout the three weeks, asking for details of the job, giving me an estimate, and then contacted me the week before and a day before to check my availability and his arrival time. When he arrived, he looked at the job and got right to it with his son Dillon. He came back the next day to finish the job, again communicating his exact arrival time. Lanny and Dillon are definitely masters of their craft. The walls look great and they were able to match the prior texture really well. They delivered the project on time and on budget. They cleaned up after themselves, even mopping the floors, leaving not one speck of debris or mess. Lanny and Dillon are incredibly polite and knowledgeable. We will definitely call them back whenever we need drywall repair again! read more

We needed a quick drywall patch at a reasonable price. Lanny responded and did a great job.

We needed substantial help and were really limited in time since we were trying to get the work done to be able to move in the house. Lanny gave us a great quote and a realistic timeline. Him and his son were there before our agreed time every morning. They were very open and realistic on how quickly things can be done, prepared us for a potential one day delay (based on how quickly walls could dry - completely out of their control) and things ended up being right on time anyways. They did a great job and afterwards kept helping us by referring really good people specializing on other help we needed. Communications were easy and simple over texts and Lanny is a great person to work with on top of his good workmanship. read more

Lanny recently did a great job for us! What started as a few patches turned into a major remodel and Lanny was always willing to do more as it came up. He is very knowledgeable about texturing and really did an awesome job on patching very large areas. Now that it's painted - you would never know! Affordable prices and a job well done! I would recommend! read more
