Made me feel like I was at a gas pump. Maybe this will be happening everywhere eventually, it just didn't give me a warm fuzzy. When you are ill, warm fuzzies are good medicine. I felt better when I got treated, then I would be asked if the service was OK then pay. This is minor though. The service after I paid was good. In each office is a plaque that gives a phone number if not completely satisfied. I definitely got value here. I will be back.

After some of my own research, I then called my previous doctor from Denver and asked him what he thought. He called back the next day and told me he got nothing by raves about her. I called Dr Pearson and the rest is history! I would not go to anyone else ever! She is the most caring, thorough, friendly person. Not only does she listen to ME, but she goes a step further to make sure she understands what I am trying to tell her. Dr Pearson never rushes, but takes her time to be completely sure that "I" understand what she is saying to me. Definitely a collaborative atmosphere! Sadly, somehow a corporation took over and the information provided here is seriously incorrect. Also note that the corporation let go all of his prior staff and the overall service has become more difficult. I talked to the old staff at the Tree Lane address a few days before it closed and they all told me that the corporation flew a few geniuses in and over a not very thoughtful pizza lunch told all of his old staff that the office was moving, and they were not going to be moving with him or the practice. Yep, cost gutting capitalists took over and they don't give a you know what about the patients. Happily, Dr. Sharpe still does, and so I still use him as my PCP. Making appointments is a breeze - even…read moresame day - the nurses and staff have always been kind, returned phone calls promptly, and have maintained the feel of the tiny practice Dr. West started with many years ago. The docs ... not so much. West now thinks he's a weight loss guru and Sharpe pays no attention to anything. Ms. Bertram is nice, but their former FNP Mr. Pettay was much better. Ms. Bertram always seems to be distracted and in a hurry - I once came to see her with a very simple/common 'lady issue' and she refused to treat me, even after I told her the reason I came to her was because I couldn't get a GYN appointment for another week. She still refused. It's funny ... as a nurse myself, I'd never worked with a doc/NP in any practice that would refuse to treat something so simple ... and then make me pay for the visit. If it was 15-20 years ago, I'd have nothing but raves for this group. Now it's all bells and whistles, flat screen TVs and free water and patient portals. I'd give it all back for the care I used to get in the tiny office in Snellville.

How disappointing!…read more I was the second person in line. The first person left and I went back. Then I sat around in the back for over 40 minutes while new patients arrived and left. They decided it was my turn when I told them I had to leave! Next issue, I was given an antibiotic. I could not get a refill on the antibiotic because the doctors rotate and my doctor was not there this week. Seriously, what kind of bs is that? It is interesting that I could go in again with a new appointment and a new cost to see a new doctor and get the antibiotic prescription I needed! Should have gone to my primary doctor, to begin with, this is definitely my last visit to the Buford Urgent Care! Something stinks!
