The floor does have some minor issues but beyond that, everything else was pretty cool. Can't speak on the food or anything like that though. I'll update if I ever try it out.

My step daughter loved it here. The only thing is it's a little dirty. Everybody looked like they enjoyed themself.

Last month, I checked out the skate school at Skate Zone. It's a vibe. I went to their Saturday…read moremorning class . The two instructors were great and very patient with our group. They break the groups up by age (little, teens, and adults). It was 30 minutes and leads up to the public skate. I love how they have different size guards for those of you who need skate assistance. While I was there, I saw there is a food and arcade area. You can bring your own skates or use their skates. They also offer Public skating sessions, Bday parties & private events, Family-friendly theme nights, and Lessons, camps, and community events. I'll definitely be back for public skate in 2026.

I'm giving this location 5 stars. I had never been here before but hosted a kids birthday party…read morerecently. Customer service was top tier. I usually over-function for birthday parties but they took care of EVERYTHING! I was late with all the deadlines (per usual) from submitting the guest list to finalizing the menu and they took it all in stride and were so accommodating and professional. The location was great for kids- had a nice size (not too big/too small ) skating rink and they have an arcade. With our party package we had a section, for not just the kids but for the adults so we could sit in a contained area together, the kids could rent a pair of skates and got a card to go play in the arcade. They also had an ice cream sundae bar where the kids could get ice cream and add toppings. The DJ definitely gave the birthday star several shout outs and even played a dedicated song. The venue provided party favors (some really nice ones I might add). We also had a designated party manager and she was the bomb dot com- shout out to Heidi!! We had a party with over 20 kids so it did get a little pricey but I felt it was well worth it. I will definitely come back and bring the kiddos, may even try to skate again myself lol.

The owners have changed…read moremultiple times within the last few years and the new owner is quite unprofessional and quite rude to say the least. I overheard him speaking to one of the favorite and well known skate instructors with a nasty tone. During this same visit he got snappy with me as well. MUST'VE WOKE UP ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE BED. I heard many complaints about how he runs out on the rink floor policing in an aggressive manner. He also has passed this behavior on to his Saturday afternoon skate guard. Customer service everything these days. Skating is supposed to be a therapeutic and safe place. I've tried many times over the last few months to visit this place but I do believe this is my last visit. I'd rather drive to Laurel and be treated with respect.

Before we came, I sent messages via their web site asking for rules and whether inline skating was allowed (just to be sure) and they never replied. We drove all the way down to find that they do not allow inline skating. The guy in the front desk was pretty snobby. He did offer a small room for inline skating and we accepted but we had to pay a full 10 dollars to skate around a small room instead of a full regular size rink and I didn't think it was fair.

I turned around and walked right out of there without investigating further. The vibes were off in that bathroom, I can tell you that much. They seemed alarmed that I was trying to come in there at all let alone with a four-year-old, even though the bathroom was a public bathroom.... I don't know how this place can call itself a roller skating rink with that horrible floor. The skates were plastic and awful. I really feel ripped off and extremely disappointed. The chairs were disgusting. I washed all of our clothes and coats as soon as we got home. I will never be returning. Such wasted money. In addition there was a DJ playing music and it was so loud. My kids were extremely overstimulated and just yelling by the time we left, then complained of headaches on the car ride home.

Honestly, it's a good spot to host anything from a friend's hangout to a large party. However, I have qualms about coming here again. The work event was a pickleball tournament. Although the space itself is clean, it gets so hot indoors - regardless what activity that you do. Furthermore, we got food catered, and it wasn't the best quality. Although you don't come here for food and drinks, I would recommend other places for that. If you can deal with the heat indoors and want to do a fun activity in DC, I would recommend going here.

The skates are affordable, quality skates. They come with a 90 day warranty in case of any defects, and a year of adjustments or care that the shop offers for your skates. The shop has been in this location for 31 years and is run by Kevin (he was professional, hilarious, and very knowledgeable about the skates). We came from Baltimore, so it was a little over an hr drive. The entire process from choosing, trying on, and getting the wheels/brakes adjusted, and paying was about 40 minutes. That included him helping other customers at the same time. A great multitasker for sure! His son was also there helping as well. This shop is located in a small shopping strip. The parking lot was a little tight but definitely doable and it wasn't packed. If you are looking for skates in any size from kids to adults definitely check them out asap!

If you purchased skates from somewhere else, you can still bring your skates in for repairs or adjustments, but for a small fee. He also sells wheels, pads, and other accessories for your skate needs. Overall, I highly recommend this place!!
