They made several mistakes on a new policy, one of which had my home 700 sq ft smaller, when I…read morenoticed the mistake they were no longer competitive so I canceled the policy before it took effect. Because of one of their many errors they had to put the policy through with three separate charges. They said they would reverse the charges but after two weeks only one charge was reversed. I told them that if it isn't resolved soon I would dispute the charge with the credit card company, which I ended up doing. I then received a check. I called the card company and they said to deposit the check, and advise Allstate to contact the card company. Allstate said they would not contact the card company which of course wasted even more of my time. I didn't want two charges to appear. I can't believe that all Allstate offices are as incompetent as this one but I found much better rates with another major insurance company. If you have a policy with this agent you may want to read it carefully for errors. You will likely get better insurance with a different company.

New business owner in the construction industry. Went to Ferguson Leavitt for worker's comp…read moreinsurance. First year was 13%.. following year was 14.5% with no claims against my policy. I asked them why premium increased and Christine Eamon's gave me some story as to why rates increased. I accepted it as fact. Fast forward to this year and Farmers insurance cold called me and offered me same coverages for less than half what this firm was charging me. They made 0 attempts to contact me over the course of 2 years except when it came time for renewal. Changed my agent a minimum of 2 times without notifying me anything changed. Made no attempts to shop my rates to other providers until I notified them I was going with another provider. Only then I received a call from the head of the office whatever his name was, telling me they were shopping to 7 providers. Offered me a 45% reduction from previous rates. Still not close to farmers. I informed him that I was extremely displeased with their service, gouged me and they didn't care about me as a client. He hung up on me. When I sent them the cancellation notice they told me it was REJECTED and I needed to provide more information. I will be filing a complaint with every regulatory body That deals with this. Farmers told me it was against the law for them to refuse to cancel my policy. POTENTIAL BUYER BEWARE!
