They made several mistakes on a new policy, one of which had my home 700 sq ft smaller, when I…read morenoticed the mistake they were no longer competitive so I canceled the policy before it took effect. Because of one of their many errors they had to put the policy through with three separate charges. They said they would reverse the charges but after two weeks only one charge was reversed. I told them that if it isn't resolved soon I would dispute the charge with the credit card company, which I ended up doing. I then received a check. I called the card company and they said to deposit the check, and advise Allstate to contact the card company. Allstate said they would not contact the card company which of course wasted even more of my time. I didn't want two charges to appear. I can't believe that all Allstate offices are as incompetent as this one but I found much better rates with another major insurance company. If you have a policy with this agent you may want to read it carefully for errors. You will likely get better insurance with a different company.

I asked them why premium increased and Christine Eamon's gave me some story as to why rates increased. I accepted it as fact. Fast forward to this year and Farmers insurance cold called me and offered me same coverages for less than half what this firm was charging me. They made 0 attempts to contact me over the course of 2 years except when it came time for renewal. Changed my agent a minimum of 2 times without notifying me anything changed. Made no attempts to shop my rates to other providers until I notified them I was going with another provider. Only then I received a call from the head of the office whatever his name was, telling me they were shopping to 7 providers. Offered me a 45% reduction from previous rates. Still not close to farmers. I informed him that I was extremely displeased with their service, gouged me and they didn't care about me as a client. He hung up on me. When I sent them the cancellation notice they told me it was REJECTED and I needed to provide more information. I will be filing a complaint with every regulatory body That deals with this. Farmers told me it was against the law for them to refuse to cancel my policy. POTENTIAL BUYER BEWARE!

I was a loyal State Farm customer for eight years, always paying on time with multiple cars and a…read morehome insured. When my son was in an accident (not at fault, Dec '24), I called for guidance on how to file a claim. Only then did I find out State Farm required both the car and the driver to be insured--something Alex never explained or advised me on. I added my son to my policy in Dec '24 but ultimately filed the accident claim through the other driver's insurance, meaning State Farm never handled it. Two months later (End of Feb '25) my son moved out on less that great terms and took responsibility for the car, we had him retitle it in his name and he took it with him. We canceled our policy, but State Farm first had me sign and affidavit giving my word my son was not driving my other vehicles, then later demanded proof of his new insurance-- including company name and policy number, details I had no access to. My agent was useless throughout this process, never explaining my coverage, never offering real assistance, and only forwarding emails. When the underwriters started making demands, he gave me no advice, and his final email was downright rude--essentially telling me to take my business elsewhere. State Farm and Alex's lack of professionalism, communication, and customer care was infuriating. After years of paying into their service, I expected better. I've since switched providers, and if you're looking for an insurance company that actually supports its customers, stay far away from State Farm.

I couldn't call them back because I was sent to voicemail so basically left in the dark. After that we received letters saying our policy was canceled, wife calls them to find out what's going on and it's mumbo jumbo about underwriting and not to worry about it, told her the car was insured, she called corporate and found out it was not. Trying to get to the bottom of it and make sure we're insured, Mario told my wife to shop with another company after she has been with state farm for over 20 years. Negative 1 star of possible for a terrible experience.
