We used to drive 45 minutes to see her when we moved out of the area, just because I refused to let a good thing go. I highly recommend her, or any other doctor in this practice. They have great hours and flexibility, even sick hours on Sundays, and they genuinely care about their patients.

They are very short on the phone, and rude, to say the least. At one appointment, the office girl was completely yelling at a patient on the phone. The yelling was so unprofessional and disturbing. The office staff can make or break a business. Since Dr. Donovan-Hunt is so good, we stay there; but if she wasn't, her staff would've scared us away a long time ago.

Dr Ellman was very patient, takes the time necessary, you never feel rushed, and certainly not talked down to. You feel like she is your friend, because she is. The practice she is connected to is large (Midwest Center for Women's Healthcare) nevertheless you can make all your appointments with her, and she makes sure she'll deliver your baby if at all possible. She was in touch with the hospital nurses during the delivery, and got to the hospital fast when she was needed. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family.

I suffered from chronic sinus infections that were just crazy. I went to Dr. Miller expecting the usual script and and a co-pay but what a pleasant surprise I got. He was so thorough and detail oriented that he asked questions that seemed out of sync with the routine I had experienced elsewhere. He asked about my lifestyle, my pillows, my diet, well you get it....and he LISTENED. I actually now understand why doctor's corporations are called SC for "service corporations". He was providing his Medical Services. He wasn't doing me a favor by seeing me. I was giving him an opportunity to practice medicine. Lightbulb, aaahhhhh moment. Did I mention he went to Harvard Medical School. Matters not unless they teach you human compassion there. Not only did he cure that malady, he cured me of pretty much everything and during the course of a general conversation, he discovered a something that several other doctors had dismissed or negelected. Under his care and direction, I have been treated as a person, not a number and put on a path to wellness. He had given me guidance and referals that have changed my life. When I had a rough patch health wise, he was my go to guy and Dr. Miller got me through a series of unrelated, untimely and unfortunate health issues. We've since kind of broken up because he made me all better, so much so that I don't really need to see him much anymore. Not that I mind. But you know what I mean. I have refered countless people to him and each and every one raves. He moved from the city to Northbrook which is a hike, but his demeanor, candor and knowledge are worth every second on the Edens. He is kind, gentle, caring and concerned. Dr. Miller is the first physician I have encountered that practices the art of healing. How refreshing.On their website it says under his philosphy "Dr. Miller believes in a strong patient-doctor relationship and working with patients to optimize their health care" Understatement of the year. And lets not forget the support staff, Janie, his nurse. Can you say loveable and sweet. And efficient and kind. And accommodating and warm. Yep, worth every second on the Edens and then some!

I've had doctors in Tulsa, Petersburg and Yongsan Army Base in Seoul, South Korea. No one, ever, gave me the excellent treatment and kindness of Dr. B. My husband was spared heart surgery because he called for a prescription for persistent heartburn and she immediately told him to come to the ER. She told them he was coming so they immediately took him in for tests and had a stent installed because an artery was completely blocked.
