Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!

Buildsmore did a great job replacing the entire brickface, porch, and a new roof for my house…read more During demolition, it was determined some of the plywood was needing replacement. Instead of replacing the damaged plywood, they replaced all of the plywood for the front of the house. They finished the entire demo and rebuild of the entire facade and porch in less than 2 weeks. After the facade was completed, the work on the roof was started. The teardown of the roof and reshingling with GAF shingles was completed in a timely manner. If there were any issues during the project, Buildsmore was always available to resolve the issue in a cost effective and timely manner. Sean came out within 45 minutes of me calling. I was dealing with an urgent repair from a wind storm with heavy rain forecasted the following evening. Sean assured me it would be fixed the next morning. Price was reasonable considering it was 6:30 pm and an emergency. They could have really charged me anything and I would have had to pay it. The next morning their worker (Ralph I believe) arrived at 7:30 am and made the repair. They sent me text messages the entire time along with video and pictures to show the repair they made. The company owner stopped by and I was able to meet him. I was in the process of obtaining bids to replace my driveway. The owner also has a parking lot paving company. He told me he does not work on driveways but helped me go through my bids and show me what potential issues I could encounter and referred me to a top notch driveway paving company that did an excellent job!
