Setting up an appointment a week later for a one hour shoot in their Tulsa studio was super easy (they also have one in Norman). They were super flexible to my requests of adding more time to the shoot and more outfits. They promptly sent me an email confirmation with information that answered ALL of my questions and detailed what to expect. Since I had never done a boudoir shoot before, I appreciated the attention to detail and the fact that they acknowledged that the nervousness of stepping out of your comfort zone is completely normal. They recommend purchasing the hair and makeup add-on for $85. I didn't because my best friend is an amazing makeup artist. It is definitely helpful to feel like a model by the time you arrive. I learned that boudoir does not necessarily mean lingerie or nudity (which was the main reason why I was so nervous). Alisa, the photographer, helped me feel at ease immediately. When I arrived, the previous session was just wrapping up. They were three girlfriends who told me they gifted themselves a shoot every year because it was a great way to celebrate themselves. I loved how enthusiastic they were. I hadn't considered it would be a gift to myself as well. The space itself wasn't big but it was very well laid out. They have cute décor and different backdrops set up. You can bring whatever you want to wear during your shoot but they also have a client closet with props to choose from. They even have a Pinterest page to check out beforehand for inspiration. During the actual shoot, Alisa did a magnificent job of coaching me through posing and my facial expressions. Even though some of the poses felt somewhat forced and uncomfortable, she would quickly show me the result and it was AMAZING! I couldn't believe how good she made me look. She is a pro at choosing flattering poses and encouraging you along the way. Once the shoot was over, they let me look at the pictures for me to select which ones I wanted to be retouched. As part of the Groupon, I was supposed to select only a handful of pictures for them to retouch. I actually thought that would be plenty until I started to scroll through them. I actually loved ALL of them. So I once again extended my package and purchased all of the digital files. It felt like a splurge but was well-worth it for sure. Highly recommend for everyone to experience! It was a highly empowering and did wonders for my self-esteem.

Considering it's an outlet, everything was pretty organized and easy to find. They have some fantastic brands: Kate Spade, Ted Baker, Hugo Boss, Armani Exchange, Trina Turk, to name a few. Let's talk about prices: Ted Baker t-shirts for $10, Kate Spade purse for $60, Hugo Boss polo for $50. You cannot beat those prices. We picked up a blazer that retailed for $595 down to $40. If you have no idea what Torrid is, they used to be a plus size version of Hot Topic. Very goth and punk rock with lots of band tees. Within the last 8 or so years they've changed their image a bit and now offer trendy pieces and career wear for the younger crowd. They are also supposedly famous for their jeans but I haven't gotten a chance to try them yet. This location is a good size, and even though they were hit hard first thing this morning the store was still tidy when I went in around 11:30. The workers were super nice and helpful, and the girl working the dressing room was really good about checking on customers (seeing if they needed another size, etc without being pushy) when the line got long. Speaking of the dressing rooms, they each had their own fan! This is so important when you're trying on lots of clothes b/c it can get warm back there. This store seemed to have most of the items on the website but in limited sizes. They do offer free shipping from the website to the store if they don't have your size in something. There didn't seem to be a shoe section like the OKC store, they were just scattered around the store on different shelves. Large lingerie section in the back.
