Longtime Browser (... I mean Shopper)…read more Real Quick: + Designer-brand Big & Tall Sizes that guys can't find anywhere else + Store is (almost) always organized, neat & clean + Friendly staff always willing to help + They are EXPENSIVE (for my budget) More Detail: I've been visiting this store for a long, long time. In fact, I remember when it used to be a Repp B&T & a Casual Male. When DXL took over, it got CRAZY EXPENSIVE -at least more than I want to pay for clothes. I remember once they had a selection of pocket squares for close to $100 each! (Just the hankie. No tie included!) Well, now a big guy can finally find a nice selection of designer labels (Polo Ralph Lauren, Nautica, Vineyard Vines, True Religion, etc). I've seen sizes 6X and size 60+. Personally, I can shop for my size in many department stores at much lower prices (albeit the selection is very poor elsewhere.) Clearance Back Corner: Yes, I'm the guy who starts in the back of the store and first looks for any bargains first. For the past few years, their clearance corner is pretty meager. The selection is slim and most items are only 25% off the sticker price. YUCK! Merchandise: The products are high-quality. I still wear sportcoats, slacks, jeans, etc. I purchased from DXL many years ago! Coupons: I no longer get any discounts that "wow" me or compel me to visit. Most coupons require that I spend at least $100! I did receive a birthday coupon -if I spend $50. (Thanks DXL) People: The people are always nice and willing to help. I've seen many come & go over the years, but Katrina is still there and always greets me with a warm welcome. Store: The store's appearance lives up to its reputation. It is always clean and well organized. It even smells real nice! I won't knock-off a star simply because their prices are more than I'm willing to pay. I do recommend it for the big & tall guy!

My BFF RAVES about this store and has bought many items for their home as well as ours. After…read moredinner we decided to drop in since I'd never been in the store or shopped, key word "NEVER". We walk in, maybe 1 other customer yet maybe 5 workers if my count is correct. One lady advised of the 40% sale area and then vanished. Me, walking around with an item to try on, passed at least the 5 ladies I counted, never asked "would you like a dressing room, is there anything I can help you ladies with?". Expected proper customer service for the price point. One may ask, "did you ask for a fitting room"?", nope I sure did not. I've worked in CS before and it's your "job" to ensure EVERYONE that walks through that door is treated kind, with respect AND as a valued customer hoping they'd be become a repeat customer. With so many stores closing, people losing jobs and the store almost empty, they should have wanted that additional purchase to close their quota or go beyond for the night. Whether the people in store knows it or not, this economy is very fragile to offer this level of service. I'll end with this, I will/would never step foot in this/that store again or purchase online and/or recommend this store to anyone. Such a disappointment for a 1st time visitor, notice I didn't say "customer".

Y'all...the boots that I picked up from Torrid tonight are AMAZING! I cannot wait to style them!…read more Torrid is the place to go for unique, fun, trendy, and good quality plus size clothing. They always have a great selection/stock and you can always find a sale going on. They have items for work and play. I have shopped at this place for years now and I have never regretted a purchase. The staff is always helpful and friendly. As an extended service, they will even help you style an item. When I wear my boots I am going to post them here on Yelp, so be on the lookout!

I normally shop at the Collierville Torrid store, but had a friend in town visiting from Australia…read moreand the dress size she wanted was available only at the Cordova store, so drove here. I think the first thing that struck me was that the deals here were better (read cheaper!!) than the Collierville Torrid store, as this store had an amazing buy one, get one free for clearance items whereas as Collierville store had buy one, get one 50% for clearance rack items. So with that kind of a discount, not only did my friend purchase 4 dresses for the price of 2, I ended up making out like a bandit too and purchased some clothes I had previously been on the fence about - but when its a BOGOF offer, that's an easy decision to make! Both our bills were right around the $100 mark (hey Torrid isn't cheap!!) but at $25 for 4 dresses, we both felt we got a great bargain! Also, just like at the Collierville store, the staff here were also so sweet and lovely!! The only downside is this store location is just too far away for me to be drop by more frequently, but that's probably a good thing for my wallet! Yelp Review 124/ 2017

I didn't really want to but I was wanting the romper to wear to an event. I decided to order it again and once again they shipped the wrong one. Again, no apologies! I called customer service, the lady on the phone barely spoke any English and couldn't even read correctly the description. She was also not apologetic or anything and just said well you can just return it and get your money back. The people I dealt with lack customer service and any type of assistance. Horrible! Shame on you! I wouldn't have made such an issue about the situation but their attitude and lack of customer service is what got me.

I can't say enough good things about this place!…read more The custom bra fitting made for a real treat when my lady came back with a variety of items in different styles! She was personable, friendly and really listened to what my needs were! I walked out with 7 bras and 2 underwear and my bill was HIGH but well worth it! Remember: NEVER WASH YOUR BRAS IN A WASHING MACHINE. Place them in a bucket of soapy water and let them sit then rinse off or wear them in the shower and wash them that way and air dry!
