Her quote sounded too good to be true, but I went and met with her and seen some of the other dresses that she had made. They were beautiful so and her prices were very reasonable. So, I decided to give it a shot. I must admit it sounded wayyy too good to be true. She also told us that she could make my fiancé's suit. At that very 1st visit she took our measurements. We left not knowing exactly we were going to get, even kind of nervous. But hopeful at the same time. She was very quick, and we went in for our 1st fitting. My fiancé's jacket and vest looked great, and fit him just about perfectly at the 1st fitting. I must admit I wasn't happy with my dress at all... here's where I went into freak out mode. Yani pretty much told me to trust the process. Since I had never had a custom dress made... i did not trust the process at all. When I came back for the next fitting, I can tell you that all my stress was for nothing. The dress was almost perfect. I was like... YES! This is so much better. By my last fitting the dress was perfect. Absolutely perfect! This past weekend was our wedding. I got so many complements on my dress. It fit perfectly. You can tell it was made just for me. I am very short and it didn't drag the ground at all. At the end of the night, I didn't even want to take it off. I want to wear it again. I'm said that it was just for that occasion. Here is the breakdown on some of the effects they carry: Merle Norman Cosmetics- The only location in BCS where you can get it. I have been using this makeup company for years and love it. Plus they will give you a free makeover whether you just want a new way to wear your eye-makeup or you actually want an entire skin care lesson. Brighton Collectables- They have the biggest selection in BCS of jewelry, and I'm pretty sure the other stores that carry Brighton don't have their other products like handbags or shoes. The ladies that work here are very helpful and if they don't have a piece you're looking for they will special order it for you no problem. Vera Bradley- A few other places in town carry this line as well but none of them offer the personalized customer service that this location has as well as such a large selection. Hair-U-Wear- They have wigs and hair pieces out the wahzoo!! The hair pieces they carry are very high quality. I got one of the ponytail ones just for fun. I love using it when I'm having a bad hair day and believe it or not I get compliments! They also have a ton of little random gift ideas as well as clothes. The clothing is more geared toward women who are 40+ though. The store can be a little overwhelming with the amount of items that are packed into it but the ladies there are more than willing to help you search through it and I think they have been making more of an effort to organize it recently.
