Very welcoming. We came from out of town and it was easy to drop in and the coach made sure we were up to speed with everything!

I have been going here for several years and it has been going downhill for the last 5-6. The…read morebuilding is in poor shape, it's dirty and the equipment, once it breaks it stays broken. What made me write this review was this. A group of old Asian women used to dance together when there wasn't any classes in one of the rooms and that went on for several months. For some unknown reason, they decided to stop letting them dance together. Their "reasons" are that "some people don't understand the Chinese music" and "the teacher speaks Chinese, not everybody speaks Chinese" oh, "it's against our policy" (which I can't find anywhere) They have Spanish music for other dance classes and I can't speak Spanish and most of the other people there can't either. I am an old white guy, who is just an acquaintance of a couple of the Asian women and from what I could hear between the Asian women and the gym managers, it's clear to me that the management of this gym just doesn't like Asian people. Their reasons for not letting them dance were nonsense. I would like to add, I think claiming racism when there is no other argument is bad, there is obvious bias against these women. And from what the management said, it's because they are Asian.

Terrible. The whole…read morebuilding as of this review in 2025 is half in shambles. The floors are ripped out and the lighting makes my eyes dizzy. The members mostly consist of elderly people who only use the pool area and it's extremely disgusting. Sweat and hair is everywhere and lots and lots of creepy older men. The actual gym area itself is a giant room full of crappy equipment that looks like it found its way from goodwill. Some of the staff are nice, but if you have a trainer free session that guy will get you to sign up for training and then dump you on someone who you haven't even met. The cancellation fee is outrageous too, you have to pay a full month before quitting so even if you paid for a first month you're obligated to use two before leaving in case you change your mind. Awful price, awful sanitation and really creepy elderly men. Don't go here.

It's been almost 2 years since this occurred, but I still think about it every so often. At first,…read moreI didn't want to be "that person" who goes on a rant on the review section, but this review has to do with the impact this particular CrossFit had on many lives. Flashback: March 2019. Covid-19. Most of us afraid. Will our families survive? How will life look during a pandemic? Then news hit. Gyms, entertainment facilities, and restaurants in Oregon to close. At first, I felt this gym was "semi" fair in allowing people to borrow some equipment. I was able to borrow a bar, a kettle, and a few rubber plates. That was nice, but I just can't stop thinking about the fact that they were still charging us the full premium for a percentage of the effort. Two zoom classes offered per day, both during typical 9-5 working hours. Workouts were posted with machines that we didn't have access to, or at least most of us didn't i.e. rowing machines. See, I understand wanting to take care of your family, but at the cost of others? I think about the people who lost their jobs during the pandemic and how you were still drafting 130+ (depending on how many months they signed up for) out of their banking account. In my case it was around $160.00. I was extremely fortunate to have a job during the pandemic, but I don't get how I was paying a large premium for two zoom classes that were during my working hours. The sell point of CrossFit is competing with a group while getting a form of training in a group setting. All of that was removed from the situation and so the cost should have followed, in my personal opinion. If you had decreased the cost to $50-$70, I wouldn't feel so taken aback by the choices made by this facility. A percentage of the work on your part for the full price. Most of us work for our money, and I feel you should have worked for yours, or decreased to alleviate others during a difficult time. I wasn't the only one plagued by these actions, others with whom I came into contact with felt the same way. I just want others to think twice before they choose this CrossFit. I would have happily supported your survival by paying $50-$70, just to keep your dream of having a gym alive, but because of the actions taken during a critical time in so many lives, I could never support this business or this business owner, Andrew, again. I encourage anyone taking the time to read this review to choose a different branch of CrossFit and to not support CrossFit Intensify. -Taylor

There is always two or more trainers per session and they are focused on safety and how to do the movement safely. I'd recommend this gym to anyone.
