I liked the service with the two employees serving being really kind. Not too much besides that to comment on for the service. The ambiance on how it felt was well, nice music but an overall quiet place. There was an issue with the cleanliness though. When we were inside the place, there was food on the floor and lots of crumbs still on a lot of the tables and eating areas. Also, there were ant(s) inside of the towel-thingy we got. Overall, would've been a 5 if it was cleaner.

They have a gigantic one (see my picture) I think it's like 1.8 lbs of meat!! I didn't order that, but a couple of guys sitting by us did. (They split it) It was crazy big, but actually looked cooked well and everything on it looked fresh and tasty. They said it was good. I did however, order a (regular) sized "build your own" burger and a side of onion rings. I liked my burger a lot. Definitely worth coming back for. Onion rings were also pretty good. My wife ordered the fish and chips basket. This meal was very average. Pretty much, your basic frozen battered fish, deep fried and served with okay French Fries. Burger was great, fish basket not so much. Would recommend stopping in for drinks and a burger. Skip the fish. (But maybe they serve different fish for their Friday Fish Fry)

It took awhile for our food, but wow..it was worth it. We started with the pickle fries. Spicy and crunchy with a fantastic dipping sauce. Then, I had the firecracker shrimp wrap with jalapeno slaw. Perfect Asian spice and the slaw addrd great crunch with just enough heat. The handcut chips were very good Hubby had the firecraker shrimp, too, and loved it. We're looking forward to trying their other menu items.

It's a small little bar type place, but they have a cook on so your bartender isn't trying to juggle both jobs and the food is fast and delicious. I had the western burger and it was 5 star. The bbq sauce on my burger was insanely delicious and I'm picky about my sauce. My coworkers each had different burgers and they looked equally delicious and they raved about them. What to expect went coming to johns you will not get a seat right away you most likely (on Friday for sure) will wait an hour or more. You grab a number wait till your called order and then they will seat you. You can also expect food that is top notch every time with out question. This trip to the corner bar landed us on a Saturday night prime rib special. The whole family came this time. My dad and I ordered prime rib sandwich ( my only complaint) it's cheap in price and your get what you pay for by getting 1/8 inch thick cut on this. I would gladly have paid 12-15 dollars for a good amount of meat. The wife got broasted chicken and she loved it. My sister ordered the queen cut prime rib and as you can see not like most prime ribs where you get a good portion of fat on it this one did not have much fat and you can come to expect that from johns. Her boyfriend ordered the sirloin which definitely looked like a great cut of meat! My dads wife ordered deep fried shrimp and scallops and the scallops melted in your mouth. Do not shy away from the wait here, like all good things, quality takes time! There's a wait because it's worth it. If you're one to complain about a wait this is not the place for you!

I had seen positive things about this restaurant on Facebook, going in my expectations were high. The end result was expectations not being met. I phoned ahead and was able to make a reservation. When my group pulled into the parking lot at 5PM, it wasn't full. This is generally not a good sign for a Saturday night. When we entered, it looked old school (big bar, televisions and a pool table). I generally see this as a positive indicator. The drinks we received were well made and the bartender was a nice guy. He gave us menus and we were waited on in the bar area. Both waitresses we were served by were very neutral in having us as guests. No extra chit chat. After ordering, we were directed to our table and were told we could go to the salad bar. I was looking forward to the salad bar as other social media raved about it. It was nice and all the items were fresh; however, it wasn't very big. The soup, available on the salad bar, was very good. The homemade dinner rolls were also good. The main meal is where things went backwards. One dining partner had a scallops and ribeye combo. When it was delivered to the table, the scallops looked pathetically small and the steak looked paper thin. Unfortunately, my impression of it being bad was what my dining partner experienced. They described the scallops of having a fish stick taste. They were disappointed in the meal. Another dining partner had the beef tip special. It was well prepared and was quite a large portion. It was an enjoyable meal. As luck would have it, myself and another dining partner both ordered the Triple O ribeye, a 16 oz cut covered with mushrooms, onions and peppers. We each ordered the garlic mashed potatoes. When it was delivered to our table it looked good. Sadly, while tasting good the potatoes weren't very warm. Having to move the topping to find the steak, I found my first piece a little difficult to cut, but prepared to order. After a few bites and after the final waitress appearance, I told my dining partner that I did not think my steak was a ribeye. They said they were thinking the same thing. Although generous in size, it appeared to be sirloin steak and while well-prepared, lacking flavor. Having eaten a good chunk, I decided not to make an issue but found the steak disappointing. If you look at my other reviews, I think you find them to be pretty generous. After contemplating this for a couple of days, I'd say people may want to try another restaurant when looking for a quality supper club experience.
