5 Stars I recently hired Landsdown Tree Experts to remove two very large, old trees from my front yard, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The trees had become a major problem--overhanging my house and gutters, and one had even grown into the foundation. Landsdown provided a great quote that beat two other tree removal companies. Their crew arrived at sunrise and completed the entire job the same day. One of the trees was extremely close to my house, and removing it without causing any damage was my biggest concern. Their team handled the work with exceptional skill and professionalism, removing the tree safely without touching the house. After removing both stumps, they did a fantastic job cleaning up the property. When they finished, the yard looked great and was ready for a fresh start. Needed a very large, old oak tree in my backyard removed. My first phone contact with Charles the owner was very pleasant, informative and an estimated price was quoted before seeing the tree. After see the actual tree the price doubled. I understood because I had been given a comparable quote by another company. The crew were very efficient, and worked at getting the job completed consistently. The person doing the actual tree cutting was a trooper! It even started to rain and the continues until the tree was cut to the stump. They remove all debris. My only complaint is that due to the use of a backhoe needed to remove cut pieces, my backyard is ruined, no grass. Now I need a land scaper and someone to remove the stump. Wish Charles the best, however he needs to tighten up business practices.. As a Senior Citizens. we were treated very respectfully by the entire crew. Praying for this company . read more

Do not use this company, Charles Burton is a total crook! He's changed his company name a couple times for one thing probably because of too many complaints. This man sent fake invoices to my mortgage company and insurance company and tried to change/increase his original quote from 6000 to 12,000. We contracted them to remove two large oak trees in January. While it was not their fault, they did break a window when bringing down one of the trees. They did not clean up any of the glass but did assure us they would replace the window. After a few weeks (again January), they said they couldn't get the window fixed so it was up to us. We got the window taken care of in a week, and after considerable efforts and a month, they reimbursed us for the window they broke. We were still waiting on them to return to grind the stumps, as was agreed upon. They continually rescheduled or just didn't show up, so we proposed we get another company to do it and once again have them reimburse us for the job they did not complete. They agreed, so we got multiple quotes and went with the cheapest to be considerate of Landsdown. This was in late May. They claimed the price was outrageous, but agreed to pay. We hot the "check is in the mail" excuse a few times (even though the previous reimbursement came via cash app), and then told they would not be sending us full payment. As a note, because the job was bigger than expected, we offered and paid an extra $1,000 at the beginning of the job out of consideration. The irony of the situation now is that they still could have gotten more than the original agreed upon price with reimbursements, but instead refuse to be decent and are requiring we take them to small claims to get reimbursed. read more
