Steer clear. This is a hard sellin' somewhat culty "self improvement" MLM-like scheme. I was lured here at 7pm under the pretense of celebrating a friend's "graduation". (I should've realized that's kinda bizarre since she spent all of about 3 days at the place). Once I arrived they asked for a little too much of my personal information and started jotting it down on paperwork. Then we were ushered inside a big classroom and the presentation began; boasting of all the big name companies they've had some tenuous connection with. Then came the charismatic speaker telling us we're all awesome just the way we are BUT we can be even better! Let's get you registered for the forum for the low price of $650! Rinse and repeat with lots of positive platitudes and repeated attempts to get you registered and to fork over at least a deposit. I wonder if they do this somewhat late in the day since you may be tired, and may be more likely to be swayed? Had anyone else lured me here I might've walked out and let her Uber home, but alas I stayed and endured the whole thing. Got approached by 3 people throughout the night that reminded me of used car salesmen. My chats with them were kinda like interrogations about what would like to change in my life and what do I have to lose? And more platitudes and encouragement to improve my life and to register. (Only $650!) So yeah, I'm willing to bet whatever good things one might be able to get out of this place can be had from an inspirational YouTube series or by attending classes at a library or community college. And doubtless they'll cost far less and won't require you to try and lure friends and family in afterward. read more

Landmark education is an educational dialog held in a workshop setting that often produces life changing results. I don't want to sound like a commercial for their curriculum for living, but as adults, we all get stuck in the way we see and do things.... the Landmark Forum provides a dialog that can help people view things in a different way, thus getting them "unstuck." The Landmark Forum takes place over three consecutive days and an evening session (generally Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday evening.) Each full day begins at 9:00 a.m. and typically ends at approximately 10:00* p.m. Breaks are approximately every 2-3 hours, with a 90-minute dinner break. The evening session generally runs from 7:00 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. (in certain locations, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.). It is not cheap, but in my opinion, it is worth it. Landmark Education courses are accepted by most employers for CEU credit that is accepted by most professional organizations. (think tax break AND pay enhancement) There are additional courses and seminars offered at very low cost to support the learning from the Forum, but the forum is the way in the door. I know a lot of people who attended Landmark, and whether they are actively attending classes now or not, all of them are glad they took the course. read more

I became involved in Landmark Education over 18 years ago at the age of 35 and during a pretty turbulent time in my life. I was married with 2 teens and we were in trouble and were in the process of divorce. My soon to be Ex participated in Landmark's Forum. I saw remarkable shifts in her and decided to give it a try . True-the initial 3 day weekend felt like a bunch of whiners who needed to get a life and I didn't experience any shift. However, while taking the free continuing series I too experienced a remarkable shift that was life changing. I continued into other advanced coursework and we introduced our teen children to the first Teen Forum in Denver. The Forum is not for everyone. If you have a library of self-help books that have gotten you nowhere and have discovered that psychologists cannot 'fix you' and are ready to discover tools that can help you take control of your life and are ready for the possibility of real change, then give it a shot. I discontinued my association with landmark since about 1996 and I can tell you that the tools I have learned have stayed with me since that time and I make use of them daily. My children are grown adults who also use the tools and I remained married for another 10 years before divorcing (some things are just meant to happen). The Forum is not a panacea but if you are brave enough to embrace change and take your power back and be responsible for living your life fully then consider this as an option. Landmark offers training and courses World wide and the results In have seen in some people have been absolutely amazing and some of the people you can meet and interact with are amazing as well. This work is fantastic in allowing you to work on and transform yourself as a person and really find out just who you are as a person. The courses are expensive and the hours are long. Landmark's programs are like fancy can openers, and you're the can. Most people don't have a clue why their life is the way it is or why the make the choices they've made or continue to make. Even if you think your life is perfect and couldn't get any better, there's still room to grow in unexpected ways. Landmark's programs work by giving you access to "blind spots" in your life that you don't even know exist. That works out to under $8 per class-hour of time. What did you pay for your college classes? Many of Landmark's competitors charge thousands for just the weekend; the seminars are all extra. All in all, if you're someone who may feel that there's room in your life for more good to show up, you know it's out there, but you just don't know how to find it or reach it, then the Landmark Forum may be for you.
