My 5 year old son recently completed one semester (8 lessons) with Taydem. He is naturally more…read morereserved and slow to warm up to new people. He started with very little swim skills and had always been a bit fearful of the water. Taydem made him feel super comfortable and he looked forward to lessons with her each day. She was always very friendly and professional while also making the lessons fun for him! The techniques she used were easy for him to catch on to and remember. I am very pleased to say his safety and comfortability in the water improved greatly over the course of his lessons! We will be doing another semester this summer just to allow him more time to build upon the skills he has learned. Overall, our experience with Kidtastics has been great and we would highly recommend them and Taydem!

We had an incredible experience with Kidtastics, specifically our instructor Tori Fraga. We decided…read moreto commit to two weeks of 1:1 swim lessons at our home for 2 weeks, (8 lessons, 30 mins each), because despite almost 2 years of weekly group swim lessons at local swim schools, I wasn't confident my 5-year old was truly water safe. I worried about her overconfidence in the pool (thinking she could swim because of the lessons), yet not knowing how to get herself to the side of the pool and out, or swimming without assistance safely. The local swim schools seemed to focus on specific skills like floating on her back and wouldn't target other skills without her doing this, despite her having ear issues that made this very uncomfortable. At the end of the day, that wasn't going to keep her from drowning and I wanted her to be water safe, then start learning strokes. Tori listened to our experience and goals for Michaela and exceeded our expectations. By the end of two weeks, Michaela was not only completely water safe (able to swim to the side of the pool and get out without assistance), but also learned freestyle, backstroke and butterfly, two types of dives and able to dive for items at the bottom of the pool without issue. After the lessons concluded, Michaela swam in our pool for 45 mins with zero support and even practiced strokes and dives. This level of skill would have taken years of weekly lessons and much more money spent in a swim school. This was absolutely worth the investment and daily time commitment for two weeks. Michaela and our whole family adores Tori; her enthusiasm for swimming and teaching was palpable. She built a lasting relationship, connection and impact on Michaela, beyond just advancing her swimming skills. Thank you, Kidtastics and Tori!! We would recommend Kidtastics to any family with a child that has any level of swim goals.

I attended the Baby Sleep Crash Course with my boyfriend last night in preparation for our first…read morebaby that we're expecting in October. While I went into the class with an open mind, I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been conditioned to believe certain stigmas or facts I had heard about baby sleep over the years. The thought of a sleepless newborn has always been daunting and with so many different opinions out there on the "right way" to navigate sleep, I have been overwhelmed and drowning in research of every method and belief to be found online. Lauren is extremely educated around this topic and it was very clear from start to finish. Not only that, but her belief system when it comes to taking care of your baby, and her emphasis on trusting your parental intuition, aligned identically to the way I feel and want to parent. I learned a ton of things I had never heard, debunked a lot of myths I had been told to believe, and explored a number of options and ideas to consider. I left the class feeling more confident in my intuition and doing what feels right for me and my baby, equipped with resources to look back on when things get rough and sleep progressions come up. The material we learned made for great conversation on the drive home between my partner & I to brainstorm ideas to support one another throughout the first year. I left feeling prepared and confident. I would recommend Lauren's services to any expectant parents, current parents, nannies, doulas, or anyone with a baby in their life who would like to know the "WHYs" behind their sleep behaviors.

I cannot recommend Lauren enough. We first reached out when our son was 8 months old and struggling…read morewith frequent night wakings and ongoing night feeds. Unlike a typical "sleep trainer," Lauren took a gentle, holistic, and evidence-based approach that focused on our son's needs, my comfort levels, and our family's overall well-being. With her guidance, we were able to gradually eliminate night feeds in a way that felt natural and supportive, not abrupt or stressful. She provided clear steps, continuous support, and truly listened to our concerns. By following her plan, our son began sleeping longer stretches almost immediately. We came back to Lauren again at 13 months for help with slowly and respectfully weaning from breastfeeding. Once again, her approach was thoughtful, compassionate, and completely tailored to us. She helped me navigate the emotional side of weaning while making sure our little one continued to feel secure and settled. Our son now sleeps through the night, and I feel empowered and confident thanks to her guidance. If you're looking for a sleep specialist who blends expertise with empathy, and who supports gentle, sustainable change, Lauren is truly exceptional. I for sure know that I will be reaching out to her again when/if we need support again in the future.
