To be honest I had good service with Landmark Pools however the closing today was a bit laughable, in order not to loose my sh$t I had to laugh. While removing my filter one of the team members broke a part of the pump. I was told they will write up the incident and next year when they open will replace the part. Here is my issue, I was not given any copy of the write indicating what was broke and who broke it. So when I called the office the young lady who answered was really nice but the worker who "Supervised" the closing of my pool was in the background stating that they do not have to replace anything. Again all I can do is laugh, because if these are the individuals that Landmark pool have working for them I will not work with them next year. It was ver unprofessional and inconsiderate based on the fact that Landmark Pools employees were the ones who damaged my property. Mind you the balloon that is placed in the pool which is supposed to go in the middle of the pool is sitting by the edge of the pool, they didn't even try to move the balloon to the middle of the pool. And to top it off I went downstairs to clean up and realized that the water broom was no where to be found, sooooo all I can think of is that it fell in the pool and no one bothered to tell me that the broom will be sitting in the pool till next year. Called to see if they had the supplies I needed, Danielle sounded like she was asleep. Then made a bunch of noises on the phone instead of actually saying anything. Rude and obviously so busy they dont need my or my company's business. Will go elsewhere. "We are dedicated to providing the best service" - Only in words Danielle. Still open? Store front says office hours are irregular during off season - understandable, but website doesn't function and voicemail is announced with an electronic message that never IDs the business. Have left 2 messages with no replies. Winter time off? No problem. Abandon potential business off season? Makes no sense. I'll give it another day or so and then I'm looking elsewhere. I never leave reviews online because I don't like to talk about bad experiences but this has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I called and spoke with a man at this pool store and set up an appointment for someone to come and clean my above ground pool. I live in the area and this place is about 5-7 minutes away from my house so figured why not give them a try. The person I spoke with let me know it would be about a 3 week wait due to how busy they are. I understood and said that's fine and I'm willing to wait. He took my information down went over some prices to let me know roughly what I would be paying. I agreed and set the appointment up. The man asked for my information 3-4 times which should of been my first red flag but I I decided to still book it since I work in customer service and I know how busy things can get especially in peak season. The day final comes and half the day goes by and no one has shown up or called. I decided to give the store a call to see what's going on and the person who answers the phone is a lady that I didn't even let me finish saying my name and why I was calling and just hangs up on me. I called back again because now I'm getting annoyed. The woman answers with a rude hello, again I try to let her know I had an appointment for someone to come and service my pool today and without asking me my name rudely tells me they don't have anything available in the system. She later asks me for my last name and asked someone in the background if I was in the list for today to come back and say "nope your not on"I explain to her everything that had happened and that I've been waiting for 3 weeks for someone to come and your telling me I was never in the system. She proceeds to tell me that it looks like it was a communication error on their part but tells me they can't do anything about it and I need to wait another two weeks for the earliest they have. I wouldn't even waste your time calling this unprofessional place. If you can't do your jobs or hate dealing with people, than consider working in a different profession instead of being so rude. read more

After many years of reliable operation my Maytronics Dolphin Pool Cleaner stopped working, it would move forward 6 inches stop move backwards 6 inches and simply stop and quit, I checked the Maytronics website for a repair center, and found Landmark Pools. Danielle told me to leave it, and she would check it out. after a few days she called me that the impeller was seized in the motor, and she was having a rough time getting off, i asked for best and worst case scenario, she said best was replacing the impeller, worst replacing the motor which was a very expensive worst case scenario, well it turned out that Danielle is a very resilient person, while so many others would have just taken the easy way and simply replaced the motor, she kept trying very hard to get the impeller off, and was finally able to work her magic, to remove the seized impeller, and replace it with a new one she had ordered, saving me hundreds of dollars from purchasing and installing a new motor. i took the Dolphing home and it ran as good as it ever did. Thank You Danielle!!!! you were awesome, and a really good reminder why we should support our local small business. read more

I've used Landmark Pools for about 8 years and have had zero problems. The guys are punctual, conscientious, and are great at handling unexpected problems with my pool opening. Although they charge a bit more for an opening than another local company I've used, I don't mind because Danny and the guys do a good job. read more

This was the first year we hired Landmark Pools to open and close our pool. We were impressed that Landmark drove out to the Monmouth Junction NJ area, fit us into their schedule at the last minute, came at the time they stated they would, and have courteous, professional, friendly employees, both in the store, and in the field. Two days after Landmark Pool did the opening, I went to vacuum and found all the debris that was on the cover of my pool at the bottom. The debris was so much, filled off branches, tons of leaves and dead birds etc. All of these things could not have snuck-in under the cover over the winter as Landmark Pool owner seem to insinuate when I called to complain. It definitely could not have entered the pool in the two days when they opened my pool and when they said I should vacuum. The owner said he would send his crew within a couple of days to help us to clean up the mess but they never showed up. I tried calling again after a week and my calls were avoided. It is a shame that a little company that needs the local business would be so unprofessional. I regret that I not only paid the bill right away the day my pool was cleaned but I also tipped the pool guys generously for less than a half hour of work. Thumbs down! read more
