Don't be fooled by the exterior of this coach - the seats on this bus are closer together than any airline seats I've ever sat in. Even city busses have more room. I'm only 5'6" and sitting straight up I had exactly one inch of leg room. Not even enough room to cross my legs. The bus is stuffy and smells like a toilet. very disappointing. read more

Landline provided me a quote for a charter service to MSP airport, and I confirmed the quote, with the company telling me that they had held those dates for me. This was more than 4 months prior to the trip. However, now that I am a month away from my trip and called back with my flight times (not known previously due to my travel company policies, which Landline knew and never said this was an issue), they have told me that they are no longer able to provide this service for me. Furthermore, Connor with Landline Charters told me that he would follow up with other options for me after reaching out to partners in the area. However, I have yet to receive further contact from Landline. There is no recourse, and I am left without transportation for my trip with 10 students. I do NOT recommend Landline for these reasons. If you travel with Landline Charters, make sure you get a CONTRACT rather than a written confirmation - this will NOT be enough to secure your charter! read more

Scheduled a 1040 pickup at MSP. Bus did not show. No response to phone call , text or voicemail for over an hour. Did not realize they had a pickup at MSP terminal 1. They were kind enough to indicate I would receive a refund when I finally received a text response. Had to make alternate more expensive ( but reliable) travel arrangements. Lesson learned: If you need to depend on airport transportation , don't depend on Landline! read more

Horrible service. Bus broke down and they had no backup plan. I ended up speeding to my destination at 5am. They even asked me to take another passenger that they left stranded. I ended up paying over $300 in fuel and parking fees. They never offered to reimburse anything, even lying to me about what their employee asked me to do. I never received a service I paid for and I'm out an extra $300. Thieves in my opinion. I'd rather crawl to my destination than step foot on a landline bus that breaks down read more

Landline left my minor child and myself stranded at the Minneapolis Airport. We are currently still at the airport 17 hours as of now. The bus left 2 mins before our arrival,knowing my child and I were coming. Landline informed me. They could no longer wait. There's a 10 minute late rule.. they also only offer rides once a day from Minneapolis Airport. I don't have money for a hotel nor for other transportation. My chid has missed school today. I have missed work. We will be here in the airport another 8 eight hours waiting for the Landline to come back at 4:30 pm. read more

Canceled on me 20 minutes before our supposed pick up time. Left me at airport, unable to make my meetings. If you pay for a good money for a service, you expect good service. Not the case here. Used landline a LOT prior to COVID, just booked at ride with them from MSP to Mankato for the 12:10am departure and at 11:40 I get a message saying they will be 30 minutes late.... Minutes before that message I was going to book a return trip from Mankato to MSP but not anymore.. I asked what the delay was and why and was given no reason. When the lady who was driving the van showed up to get us, we couldn't have squeezed another person on this van. We were pretty squished. So we had to drive from Duluth to Minneapolis airport. And let me tell you, this lady drove 40 mph ALL the way down to the cities on the highway! Now there was no rain or snow and cars were flying by us! I knew there was going to be a problem when it took her 20-25 to get out of Duluth! And we were dying, she had the heat turned on full blast all way there. When we got to the cities I looked at my watch and I told her we missed our flight, she insisted we didn't. She dropped us off with a half hour before the plane was taking off!! Sure enough we missed our flight!! I had to book a hotel and pay more money to fly out the next day. I will never recommend this place to anyone!! read more

09/2019, I used landline for the first time for my non-stop round trip transportation from Duluth to Minneapolis for my flight. The seats are very comfy; I slept on the way to and from my destinations. A beverage and a snack were provided (which is more than I got on my flights). The restroom and bus as a whole was very clean and the employees were friendly. Flying out of the cities is so much cheaper than the Duluth Airport and the roundtrip fare from Landline is very reasonable. I would recommend Landline to anyone who is looking for a cheap and quick trip to the cities. read more

I used Landline on October 17, 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic. The bus was clean and sanitized. I felt reassured that I would be fine on the bus. Masks required and such. They offered excellent shuttle service from MSP to Duluth. They did everything very well. They were easy to find, the price was good, booking was easy on my phone, they showed up on time, left on time, arrived on time, the staff was friendly, and professional. 10/10 would recommend to people traveling between MSP and Duluth. read more

Not impressed with my first experience booking with The Landline Company. I searched the shuttle schedule DLH-MSP & return and made a reservation. Based on that itinerary I booked my flights. The NEXT day I received an email stating they changed route schedule and the departure/arrival times were no longer available. The alternatives were not compatible with my flight times; I called and was told I would receive a refund. Twelve days later I receive a booking confirmation for the original itinerary. Wondering if they returned to the original shuttle schedule I called to inquire; nope, must have been a computer "glitch" sorry for the inconvenience. The first time I took Landline, an old casino bus showed up because they didn't have a LANDLINE Coach available. Not exactly luxurious. Fast Forward - 4 months later I thought I would give Landline another try since they were a new service. 12/28/19 - Booked on the 10:50 am bus to MSP - Terminal 1 to fly back to LA. At or around 8:30 am on 12/28/19, I receive a call from a Minneapolis number saying the bus has been cancelled because the roads were "slippery". I scrambled to find another shuttle ride back to MSP during the height of the holiday season. I was able to secure the last seat available on a competitor so I could make my flight at MSP Terminal 1. The Landline Service is unreliable. It is hard to believe Landline would cancel a coach bus during the holiday season when all trips are fully booked and flights are oversold. Perhaps they didn't have a bus available (again) or they did not want to run a less than full bus. They offered to move me to a 4:00 pm bus which didn't make sense because I would have missed my flight. Also, the snowfall was supposed to start around 4:00 pm in Duluth. None of the responses I received were logical. My trip down to MSP on the competition was a smooth ride. Roads were clear and no hang ups, no storm, a few snow flakes. Roads were not slippery in MSP and were salted and clear. If the roads were clear and not hazardous, why did Landline cancel the bus? 12/23/19 trip The Landline trip from MSP to Duluth on 12/23 was also not positive. The guide on the bus kept asking us to verify our name on the list while the bus was moving. She was trying to reconcile the rider list. It was uncomfortable. This had already been verified before we entered the bus - we showed our ticket, our ID, and reservation. When I saw her return to the same guy again for his information, he seemed frustrated and pointed to his name on her list. This must have been the 3rd time she was verifying our paid reservations. Also, the guide told us several times she likes her "job" and likes to be "paid". We get it. You want a tip. Let the customer decide if the trip was worthy of a tip. After this experience, I will go with the competition. read more

Great experience today from the employees at the check-in desk through the end of the ride. Our bus was almost empty so I did not have to worry about getting the seat I selected, I basically was able to sit anywhere I wanted. WiFi worked well and the ride was smooth. I can see how the noise issues and seating could be a problem based on previous reviews. Today everyone on their team was really trying to make this a great trip. read more
