Not a happy customer I have a car loan with these people it's a 2025 car. They added almost $4000 to my loan without telling me saying I didn't have any insurance I have insurance They say they claim they mailed me notice they were doing this, but I called them every month to make a payment. Nobody's ever mentioned this to me. What a hassle So they just added it to my loan they never mentioned a thing to me. They just added $4000 to my loan on top of the Insurance. I have already when I called to rectify this. I really didn't get much help. I'm calling the supervisor. they send me notices every saying I'm late every month when I'm current thru tex message seems like a very odd place. I'm not a happy customer at all I really appreciate you guys adding tons to my already overpriced expensive car loan ... Is there anything else more you would like from me???? read more

No Help With Fraudulent Charges -- Disappointed When EOS Fitness continued charging us after multiple cancellations, we went to Landings Credit Union for help. Despite clearly being an unauthorized and disputed charge -- backed by documentation -- Landings did nothing to protect or advocate for us. They allowed the charges to go through for months and didn't issue any reversal or provisional credit. Their inaction has cost us nearly $1,000, and their customer service was apathetic at best. We trusted our credit union to have our back in cases of billing abuse like this -- but instead, we were left fighting alone. Do better, Landings. If you're looking for a bank that protects its members, keep looking. read more

This poor review is because of Landing's CU Financial Service Group and their Advisors. Both Richard & David will give you the impression they are working for Landing's & you when they are mostly working for generous commissions for themselves. There's no fiduciary misgivings, you'll receive your 1%, interest, and they will pick investments (Brighthouse, Securities America, etc.) that pay themselves handsomely. You would receive a better payback from staying within Landings CU and directly investing in a IRA Savings account, paying 5.25%, but you won't receive this advice from Richard & David. When you want to get your money into a better investment than a Brighthouse cd, expect no help from Richard & David after years of receiving commission from your money. The personnel at Landing's CU itself is great, however their Financial Service Advisors has led me to Desert Financial CU for all future investments. read more

Unbelievable. My family has been banking here for over 30 years and the customer service has gone away. Absolutely rude banker. She greeted us with what do you need are you all together after we have been sitting for 10 minutes. Very short tempered, quick answered. Very rude. We closed all of our accounts after 30 plus years here. It's a shame. And tell me what bank doesn't have change!!!????!? We advise taking your money and invest elsewhere... There are several credit unions who value and appreciate there members. USAA being one of them!!! This credit union, has zero customer service, the do not care to build a relationship with their members. If you escalate to a manger, which you will be told you can't several times before getting to speak with them, then TODD who is apparently the Vice President of the company will start the conversation by saying " let me tell you what your problem is " the Vice President of the company... we were in disbelief too! And apparently there is no one you speak to above him. Someone named Albert who pretended to be a manger stated that this company is above the Arizona Law. They can make changes as the please and the company does not record calls nor make notes while speaking to you. We strongly recommend never getting involved with this company. Worst decision we have made, we will be making arrangements to depart the company but we truly want to advise people. read more

This was a great bank before they changed their name. Opened my account 18 years ago and the service in the past 5 years has been all downhill. Sat and waited 30 minutes now for a notary, multiple employees standing around and talking. Not surprised this bank has a 2 star average. SAD! read more

Bad enough one of the loan officers gave us issues not I find out after 7yrs I cannot use online services since I charged off a loan even though I a paying off another loan with them. They suck as stated by other users no notice was given or statements sent except by email whick required me to go online (which I can't) to check out. Don't use this bank. I opened a HELOC and mandatory savings account with them 18 months ago ($900 in closing costs, no introductory rate). I used the HELOC and then paid it off. Fast forward 6 months, I wanted to use it again and they had closed it because of lack of activity on my savings account. I received no email or phone call about it. They shut down an $80K line of credit because of a lack of activity on a savings account. When I asked about it, they said they couldn't reactivate the account without me paying all the fees again and restarting the process because my financial situation had changed (I make more $ now). What a clown car bank. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Hands down the worst Bank if you can even call them that ever! We were unfortunately recommended to refinance our car loan with them, my husband set everything up with Kathleen Esquibel who sent us to the wrong branch where she does not work, waste of our time and strike one. The do not do online payments so I had to drive out to the Tempe branch to make payments, here is where it gets fun! Since the loan is in m husbands name I am not allowed to make payments for him with our joint checking account from a different bank of course, with out the monthly slip or his account number because they cannot look it up and for security purposes. All I needed was a receipt saying it was paid and how much I paid, that is it! Strike two and three. They signed my husband up for paperless statements because they charge $5.00 per statement however they refused to give him his account login so he had to take off work so he could try and get the information he was still unable so we have seen zero bank statements from them, Strike four. Once we got rid of the loan they refused to give a final payoff statement because of security purposes. This bank and its workers Jacqueline "Jaci" Avdic (support services) and Gerado "Gerry" Jimenez (member services) to name a few along with Kathleen (loan services) of course and the tellers, were extremely unprofessional, incompetent and rude. No one in the landings bank has any clue what they are doing or how a bank runs. Save yourself the time, hassle and sanity. Even though they offered a lower rate then Wells Fargo we would have never refinanced if we knew it would be this much trouble. It was not worth it. Horrible service, I am wouldn't recommend to some one I hated. One branch told me they didn't have enough cash on hand to pay out a members check. Gave me a cashier's check and told me they would waive the fee when I cashed it. 2nd branch call the manager and they charge a fee. It's ridiculous I should be charged for their incompetence. On top of that extremely rude. Branch manager at the Rule and Chandler branch stated " I didn't promise that" taking to the teller without even acknowledging me. read more

Let me start off by saying I have been a member (when it was TSCU) for over 20 years. In fact, I remember opening my first checking account here when I was in high school. Back then the customer service was top notch and the tellers were so friendly which was one of the reasons I was so loyal to the credit union. I moved out of state years ago, but I kept a small savings account open as I do visit from time to time. The statements have continued to come to my mom's house all these years. Long story short, my account was evidently deemed "inactive" two years ago and they have been charging me a $5/month "inactive" fee for the past two years. Additionally, I am being charged a $5/month fee for receiving a paper statement. What?? I had no idea as I don't ever see the statements and I couldn't believe they were essentially depleting my savings $120/year at a time. Once I realized this was happening, I spoke with the supervisor, Michelle, who rudely told me these fees were in the fine print when I opened my account and that she would not be reversing any of them. She actually recommended that I close my account, which I was more than happy to do. I realize the banking industry is trying to find creative ways to boost earnings, but nickel and diming small accounts with outrageous fees is not the way to do it. read more

I've been a member with Landings CU for almost 10 years. Back when they were Tempe Schools Credit Union. While I have experienced stellar customer service in the past, my most recent experience makes me want move my financials elsewhere. The customer service rep I started working with was nice and helpful. However, the issue I had required me to be transferred to a manager. The manager I spoke with was rude, talked over me, and didn't treat me like a valued member but more of a hassle. I was guilty of being a delinquent before I had a chance to explain the situation. It was like working with a debt collector with a bad attitude. The kind of person you hang up on because because they are so rude and unprofessional. The fifteen minute phone call ended with me wishing I never did business there. read more

I would like to give a huge shout-out to Jessica Wilson, Member Service Representative III at the Tempe Branch on Mill Ave. I called to explore options for lowering the interest rate on an unsecured loan. Jessica took the time to explain all of my options, including the possibility of consolidating this loan with a car loan that had been paid down significantly, to take advantage of the lower interest rate offered on car loans. Not only did this option significantly lower the interest rate, but I was offered an even lower rate than the original car loan for the consolidated loan, saving me $268 per month and only adding one year to the car loan. Also, without me even asking, Jessica offered to lower the rate on the new car loan for our Jeep Gladiator from 2.99 to 2.49, which was additional savings each month! Such stellar customer service is rare and I'm very delighted that Landings has such outstanding customer service reps that truly care about their members! read more

Now it is much bigger and the people don't know us as well but, I have always received great service and care. They have made me feel valued even when we moved to Monticello, UT and we did business by phone. I love Credit Unions and this one is a keeper. read more

I've banked here for years with my family. Let me start by saying Jerry was so nice and helpful. Wish I got him first. But my low rating is for Rosanne. She was not telling me full info when I needed it and asked for you. She was telling me one thing then going back and saying another. She was condescending to me by saying thing like "you can copy your own checks at work" or were not a bank we're a credit union when I said the word bank. My point is a teller should be clear and informative with their words and info she did nothing but confuse me and upset me. I even told her I know it's not her fault for some of the anoyhing things and that I wasn't trying to be rude but that I was frustrated with her saying A then saying oh no no it's B. I asked to speak with a manager or anyone else and she wouldn't transfer me. Her boss was in a meeting which I understand but I waited and waited and waited on the phone... eventually I called back and got Jerry who got the simple thing I was asking for done in under 5 minutes. Do not even think of obtaining a Home Improvement Loan with this credit union. First of all, they don't fully explain the process to you. Then they constantly ask for additional documentation, it would have been helpful to have a list of documentation needed at first meeting. They lend the money based on initial estimates from contractors. Come to find out, there have been many changes in choices for remodel requiring more or less money for different contractors. But, NOPE, they are not flexible! You only get what you thought you needed months in advance. The method in which they fund the loan is confusing. They have access to your savings account and if you have existing monies in that account, there isn't a line item deposit in which you can track the deposit from the credit union. Finally, when we needed clarification or explanation, we almost always had to wait until the next day as most of our calls went to voicemail. We have been members of this credit union for over 20 years and are very disappointed with this experience. Be warned!! Do not choose this credit union for a home improvement loan!!! read more

I am just doing time until I can get out of this bank. You would think at a smaller bank you would get more help or KINDER help without jumping through 500 hoops. I have wanted to leave this bank for year but been stuck due to loans. I will now bust my hump more than ever to pay them off and get out of this bank. I have been given wrong info, been hung up on, bad customer service and they simply no longer care. I have been there possibly almost 20 year if not more but I am opening a new acct with a new bank today and will pay my debts with this bank and move on. I guess big or small bank no such thing as CARE for your customers. I was only able to get a car if I went broke and killed a paycheck over a car, they wouldn't approve me for anything I could afford. I explained I had paid off a car with them in the past 3 or 4 year earlier than expected. They said I hadn't, facts are they no longer have good customer care or service. Before today I would have given them 4 stars. I've been with Landings for 17 years but now I'm looking for a new bank. I was at the Gilbert branch with my son, who was opening a new account. I asked the person helping us to suggest to someone higher up that their "no weapons" sign on the door was putting customers at risk because many leave with large sums of money and have no way of defending themselves. Nor will it prevent a robbery. He proceeded to lie to me, saying it was against federal law to carry in any bank, which it's not. He then suggest I may get angry enough to commit murder if I was armed. I suggested maybe they should get a security guard if they wont allow weapons. His mocking response was an offer to walk me to my car. I served 4 years in the Marine Corps, so I don't know what he could do against an armed assailant that I couldn't. Finally, when I pointed out to him that someone could break into my vehicle and rob the bank with my weapon, he said that would be my fault for not having a safe in my vehicle. I wasn't looking for an argument. As a long time member of the bank, I wanted my thoughts to be relayed to higher levels of decision making at Landings, but apparently they don't care what their members think, and their safety is not important to them. So, much thanks to that condescending employee for showing me what a mistake I've made by staying with this credit union so long. read more
