I came here for a fresh juice as shown on the menu. After taking a sip it was blended ice with frozen fruit. When I asked for a refund the lady and man that worked there both started raising their voice saying this is what you asked for you cant get a refund you took a sip already etc. What I asked for was a juice, this is ice with blended frozen fruits. I left the juice on the counter and said I was going to write review the man yelled "FUCK YOU" as I walked out. Don't go here, especially if you want a juice, there's a Mexican juice spot up the block that sells real juice and they aren't rude! Mac sucks too I tried it once before never again. Ambiance also sucks it's hot and you'll smell like fried food when you leave. read more

If I could give this place -0 stars I absolutely WOULD! This is establishment point blank period is absolutely absolutely absolutely disgusting!!!!!!! Plain and short story: They have a nice variety of options/flavors to choose from for mac n cheese. I chose the bbq bacon one I believe. I was desperately hungry ordering this so safe to say I was waiting for this plate like a little kid waits for a slice of cake. A BLACK HAIR BAKED INTO MY FOOD.... That's all I'm saying. I have 3 photos of 3 different angles that I took with my iPhone. Landin I will never order from here again. I actually hope they shut this place down for the lack of cleanliness and overall professionalism. read more

Wow! First time in the Bronx and I fell into this place. I would come back just for this Mac-n-cheese. Cheesy and just the right amount of meat to boost the flavor. Small interior but enough to seat about a dozen. read more

I saw one other review here that complained about a piece of hair in their sweet bbq Mac. I ordered anyway thinking it was just a one-off thing, but lo and behold, I find a black string of hair in my bbq Mac too! It's a shame because the food really was tasty, but there's no way in hell I'm gonna eat the rest of it now. Landin, get it tf together. It's not worth losing customers over something as preventable as this. read more

Let's just say I chose this place because I read SO many wonderful reviews.... After scrolling through numerous results of restaurants, I finally gave into buying food from this place. As I've contemplated buying from them several times. Now that I've been been able to I ordered the Small sweet bbq Mac n Cheese with grilled chicken and bacon. While yes, it was very tasty....I was disgusted when I saw a long BLACK strain of straight hair deep, I mean DEEP into the dish of this Mac & Cheese: The photos are added for you all to see. NEVER AGAIN. read more

A little hole in the wall in the South Bronx but the mac was slamming. Wish I got bigger sizes.

This place had really good Mac !! I loved it. I ordered a small because I knew I wouldn't have been able to finish anything larger and the portion size was good. I had mine with bacon and tomatoes and it was soo delicious! Will definitely order again and experiment with different toppings. You can customize your Mac and cheese however you like. Wow! I'm super impressed and didn't expect anything less than delicious! I've had my Landin' in my bookmarks for awhile now. Since they're very close in my area, I decided to try em our and I'm so glad I did! Everything we ordered arrived hot, fresh and cheesey! We order a family size Make Your Own MAC and a 4 cheese mini mac and cheese, BBQ wings and chocolate mousse cake. Everything was tasty! Sorry I didn't grab a picture of the cake. I recommend this place for anyone who craving a good Mac and cheese and not trying to do all the hard work for it :) We will definitely be ordering again! read more

I'm picky about mac & cheese. With that being said, I'm looking forward to going back to get a larger order of the hot chicken (buffalo style) mac & cheese. First visit. The place looks like a hole in the wall. The service is okay, I had to tell the man behind the counter it's my first visit and he explained the menu void of any smiles. I tried the pastillitos, both the chicken and beef were good. I also ordered a 'make your own' small Mac & Cheese with cheddar, provolone, and grilled chicken. Personally, I thought the Mac & Cheese was bland, it has a nice texture with ample cheese but it's not tasty. I had sampled a Mac and Cheese at Stew Leonard's that blew my mind, it was one of those variety of cheese mixes, and after that this one fell far behind. This tastes like melted cheese on macaroni, where are the seasonings? Don't think I'll be making this trip again. I think I can do a better job at home. Happy Yelping. read more

Landin Mac & Cheese - 4 cheese macaroni and cheese with bacon and buffalo sauce - Pizza Near Me - Bronx, New York

Pros: The place was easy to access location wise right on Melrose. The menu was easy to read. The bacon Mac and cheese with jalapeño and cheddar was pretty good. More bacon would've made it better, and a higher quality bacon at that. But it was hot, fresh, and very filling. Definitely hit the spot Cons: the seats were very uncomfortable. The steak taco was terrible and flavorless. It tasted like boiled ground beef on a tortilla. read more

Not a fan of this place. We ordered takeout and I got the veggie Mac and cheese which was very bland and needed more cheese and salt. My bf ordered the make your own and his was a little better because he added bacon. We also ordered chicken tacos which were terrible and so ugly (pictures attached) and I ordered French fries which were undercooked, soggy and filled with oil. The entire meal was terrible. I'm going to need to put an exercise regimen in place because this place is SMACK in the middle of my job and home and it's going to be problematic for my diet! I usually spend my Saturday's exploring the city, always leaving the Bronx behind. But I knew I wanted food and didn't really feel like traveling for it. Specifically Mac & Cheese. I remember asking some of my coworkers about this place, but they had no experience. So I figured this would be a nice little walk & a quick fix to my hunger issue. And I could update them on Monday. On to the good stuff. I walk in and it's a quaint little spot that sells Mexican Food right alongside the Mac. Cool. Must be THEEE spot for munchies. I ordered the "make your own" with cheddar, Parm, bacon & grilled chicken. As a last minute decision, I added jalepeño. I got my food pretty fast. I took a bite and there was jalepeño allllll in it. Every single bite contained some of the spicy little pepper. I finished my water before my food and didn't want to ask for another one because...um...I didn't want them to think I couldn't handle the heat. Outside of the spice, the Mac itself was AMAZING. So good. Next time I'll tell them to go light on the jalepeño and get two waters, just in case. read more

So it's 2015 and I'm supposed to be eating healthier. But on Sunday night, my fiancé and I were looking for something to eat. I found this place by searching Yelp. Unfortunately they didn't deliver to his area, so we drove over. It's small place but easy to find. There are countertops with barstool chairs to sit a few, but this is more of a take out spot. I ordered (dare I say it) the 'hot chicken' in a LARGE. I even added bacon. The large is about the size of a round cake pan. Not too deep, maybe as shallow as a pie plate. It's enough for 2-3. I don't share mac & cheese so I had leftovers. This place is delish. My fiancé had the Italian. It was good as well. The prices are good, the service was fast and the food is awesome. They are cash only however. read more

Landin Mac & Cheese - Mexican Mac n cheese (?) * Small $6+ - Pizza Near Me - Bronx, New York

Found this on Yelp and since it was dinner time on the weekend I has to go! Especially since it's so close to my house! The place is tiny but clean. They offer Mac and cheese in several varieties, huge slices of pizza and Mexican food. The main secret to their Mac n cheese is the pans they use. They are plastic with a metallic coating. They place these pans in a special oven that melt the cheese and brown everything. I ordered bacon and four cheese Mac n cheese. The bacon is not a topping but is mixed in and it has an incredibly smoky flavor! The four cheese is rich but not overwhelming. Recommend: Absolutely!!! Price:$ Cons: Parking-can be difficult with a precinct and fire station right across the street. Final Comments: If your in the area and want cheap eats....come here! read more

I was actually around the neighborhood so I decided to give this spot a try since it had so much positive reviews... and I was not disappointed. I came here with a friend. I ordered the Burger Mac n' Cheese (it had beef) size small and my friend got the Mozzarella Mac n' Cheese and the BBQ Mac n' Cheese with chicken. My friend wasn't really impressed with the Mozzarella Mac n' Cheese but everything else was ON POINT! They cook it right in front of you so depending on how much you order you'll probably wait a while, but it's definitely worth it. Since I ordered a bunch mine took about 20 minutes or so. My advice is to wait for a bit before you dig in. When I got my Burger Mac n' Cheese I took a few bites and it was just hot as hell. I waited like 10 minutes and then decided to take another, and another, and... BAM! It was all gone. You taste all the flavors of cheese and beef when it's not blazing on your tongue. They have $2 plain pizza slices, pastelitos for $1.50 (chicken or beef), and beef patties (I forgot how much). The beef pastelitos were alright, tbh. I've had better. But their specialty is definitely mac n cheese and that's why I gave them a 5 star rating. Definitely would go back! read more

Whoa! The mac n' cheese here is amazing! We stopped by this place for early dinner with a our friend. The place is small with only two bar stools. Great service! Friendly & polite. We got the large classic American & the 4 cheeses. Our friend got the large bacon. We love them! They were amazing! Creamy & delicious! The portion is also pretty good for the price. $6.50 for a large classic American, $7 for the large 4 cheeses, & $7.50 for the large bacon. It'll definitely fill you up. We were hungry when we got there & we left feeling all satisfied. If you are a mac n' cheese fan, this place is definitely a must to try especially if you are around the neighborhood. Ordered a small vegetable mac and cheese, and my boyfriend ordered the Italian. The small size is more than enough to fill you up, and the perfect size for one hungry person. The vegetable mac and cheese had mushroom and broccoli incorporated, while the Italian had pieces of salami and pepperoni. These two dishes were absolutely DELICIOUS. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Each order of mac and cheese was fully loaded with all the ingredients in the description on the menu. Every single bite of the Italian had the perfect amount of meat, and every bite of the vegetable order had a healthy amount of broccoli. This establishment caters to your mac and cheese cravings, and even has traditional Mexican options in their menu if you want to switch it up. I was in the Bronx and I didn't know what I should get for lunch so I yelp it. This restaurant pop up with a pretty good review. I decided to give it a try because I believed it is really hard to mess up mac and cheese. This place is really small with few tables. It is also a self serve restaurant so you have to pick up from the counter after you ordered. I order Italian m&c and they made it pretty fast because I was the only customer there at that time. I got the food and expected it to be really good. When I first dig into it, it was really hot and it tastes pretty good. After few more bites, the oiliness of it overflow my mouth and I can't take it anymore. I would recommend getting a smaller portion since I got a medium one. That way you wouldn't feel disgusted from the oiliness. read more
