I also needed some help getting a new wind stop/chain installed on a swinging screen door in the basement. They were the only service I reached out to who asked for specific details about the jobs before providing a quote, which is a great way to do business. They also provided a real time of expected arrival instead of something like a four-hour window taking up your entire day. They arrived a little before the time quoted with two people - one the main handyman and one being trained. They did a prompt and excellent job and the cost was very fair. Zach is such a great person and updated my kitchen to a WOW kitchen! Yes, I realize now how stupid and naive I was. Back in 2022 a pipe burst in my house and caused a significant amount of damage.  I live in a very rural area and I could not get anyone to come out and give me quotes. My insurance wasn't helpful either. So, I then I got a message from Zack.  I had no idea what a manipulative snake he is. He seemed so nice and willing to help. Even Sent us (my SO and I) to a place to look for replacement counters in a very ghetto place. So, being desperate to have help and being fooled by this sad excuse for a human being, I gave him 15k to start.  We also signed his stupid contract that looking at it now a child with a crayon could have made a better one. He couldn't even decipher a comma with an apostrophe. We were desperate.  Half our house was gone, we were eating fast food (we are diabetic and it ruined our a1cs) the kitchen,  the downstairs bathroom, our use of our washer and dryer. Our house was taken apart and we needed our home back. This guy never started the work. Kept acting like he was doing me a favor and in the end stole my money and ran. Eventually my insurance found someone to fix the house but the damage was done. The 15k was from the insurance to fix my house. I had to get an equity loan on my PAID off house!! I had just bought a car and so I had to get a big loan and my credit is super crappy. So, had to get an over 50k loan to pay my car and the money he stole from me to the other company who actually completed the work. This guy is a liar, thief and he's broke. DO NOT USE THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY. He threatened to sue me for talking to the BBB. And he scared me into taking my review down. He threatened to sue me! Guess what? He never did because he's broke AF. Didn't even pay his insurance.  Otherwise I could have been paid back. This sounds like a story but it's not. It's a nightmare that happened to me and is still happening to me. He threatened to sue me when I sent demand letters. Said I'd have to owe what was on the contract. He knew how to scare me. Took this guy to small claims, he never showed up. I won the judgement but he's broke and is gonna screw me because he can't pay. I can't stress enough not to give your money to this guy.  He's the worst kind of creep there is. I have no idea how there's any kind of good reviews. Have to be fake just like him. I hope he reads this and knows that he's a horrible person. I hope karma does her thing. Taking money like this is shameful. Run! Don't give this criminal any money, you will regret it just like me.

We hired this man on Time and Material and boy was that a mistake! He was hired to remodel a…read morefinished basement with some electrical wiring and putting in a door. He started at the beginning of December and snuck out like a weasel while we were gone in mid March. What should have taken maybe a couple of months turned into four and still the job is not done after many assurances it would be finished. He is excruciatingly slow working. He was only on site for 6 hours at the most per day and charged us for travel time. Many smoke breaks. We starting warning him two months into the project that we were going to run out of money at this pace yet he did not change his routine. He promised he was a "nice guy" and would finish the job without being paid any more than we had already given him (15K cash not including materials!). He didn't show up for a week and a half because he "hurt his back." He had his wife call to tell me he wouldn't be coming. He was a one man show with a "clean up" man who picked up after him and he continually called him stupid. Eventually, the clean up man stopped coming. Ray gathered up all of his equipment one day while neither one of us were at home and left. While I thought his work was very meticulous, upon closer inspection, it turns out he was just slow. He is very good at laying tile (slowly). He put speaker wires through the walls to where we wanted to hang small ones and without checking that they worked, proceeded to finish the walls. One speaker does not work. He "cleaned" the perimeter of our brand new concrete flake floor and used some sort of solvent and that part of the floor is now missing it's top coat of polyurethane and it is a darker color than the rest. After he snuck out and many attempts to contact him to ask what his intentions were, he then put the blame on us that we were insulting him (we never said a bad word prior to this) and that we needed to thank him and apologize to him before he would come back. Needless to say, he will not be coming back. I hope no one else falls for his "act" of being a "really nice person."
