The kitchen looks nice with how they expanded our work space but the cabinets they installed are junk particle board n with water prone areas, they have blistered, cracked, faded and drawers fell apart. So, just finishing up two bathrooms: our master bathroom and a second-floor hall bathroom, that share a wall. The hall bathroom is approximately 8x10 and the master bath is 10x10, 100-year-old Mt. Lebanon home. The Hall bath is original mud set. So, started the process two years ago and my wife and I struggled to find a contractor. Our primary goal was "peace of mind." We wanted to find someone that had vision, did quality work, and would give us options that would fit within a reasonable budget. And, honesty, after a while, all the contractors start to sound the same...."tell us what you want." And the prices were sometimes hard to fathom and while our initial goal was $60K for both bathrooms, we actually had bids in the $90-100K range. Crazy. After almost losing hope, I was introduced to Jeff through a friend that I could consider "exceptionally meticulous," lol, or picky! And the fact that this friend had nothing but positive things to say about Jeff meant a lot. Look at the pictures, they speak for themselves. What you need to know is that Jeff is onsite and a hands-on contractor. He also has a really great team. He is SUPER meticulous and thinks through obstacles as they arise. When you are opening 100-year-old walls, you sometimes come across surprises and obstacles. I was so impressed by Jeff's vision and how he would thing through these challenges. Further, he has a very strong "design" sense, as the project moved forward, he would bring up ideas to improve the beginning vision and they were always great. As an example, our walk-in closet shared a wall with our master bathroom and now we have a new second floor laundry room/walk in closet. It has changed our life! Jeff's estimate did not change aside from add-ons that made sense as the project progressed. His labor costs were mid-point to our bids and while we went over budget, it was our choice because of the materials we chose to use. And why am I posting all this, you might ask? I've been in sales my entire career, and it's my fundamental belief that when you identify true, trusted professionals, you help them. The last thing I will say about Jeff is that you can trust him. He cares about his reputation and wants to see his customers thrilled. He is responsible and will diligently work on your project until it is done. He gave us our "peace of mind." The project was started quickly, completed on time, was on budget, and the workmanship was outstanding! The painting crew quickly and very neatly painted our kitchen and dining room. No missing spots, no drips, no runs, furniture removed and replaced. Mike and his team did quite a bit of work in the bathrooms. They replaced toilets, cut holes in the tile wall for new outlets, and replaced old pedestal sinks with new floating vanities and sinks. The work was done efficiently and correctly. They had all the right tools and parts, and everything went together beautifully. At the end of the job, they cleaned everything up thoroughly and hauled away all the trash. We had a consultation over the phone and I agreed for them to start the job the following week. They arrived promptly, assessed the damage in person, and talked me through the repair and patch process. They got to work right away and finished the repairs on the same day including the texture. The ceiling repair had to dry so it could not be completed on the same day. The crew cleaned up and took all the debris with them. The price was reasonable, they were timely, and the ceiling looked good!

Consummate professionals to the highest degree, I don't think we could have asked for a better outcome to what started off auspiciously. We had originally hired another contractor to complete several jobs at our house including demolishing our old railroad tie retaining wall and rebuilding it with Versa-Lok, a concrete porch extension, general landscaping including grading, and building Versa-Lok raised beds around our house. Said contractor started the job, and left the house in shambles for 3 months, not responding to any of our phone calls and effectively taking our money and running, while demanding we give him more money to break contract. Given it was nearing October and we were concerned about water leakage into our basement with the partly-completed work that had been done, we stated looking for other contractors to complete the job. Tom came out 2 days after we called for an estimate, and he had the estimate back to us 3 days later. Price-wise, Tom was actually the lowest price to complete everything, and it was complete work - other contractors couldn't do everything we needed done. When we hired him, he gave us a start date and deadlines that he was spot on with and was communicative during the whole process. Several days into the job, while working on some of the grading, he noted foundational issues and worked with us to get them fixed by adding a french drain system and retarring our foundation. Tom and his crew were able to get all of the original work done (including removal of the detritus the first contractor left behind, and fix his mistakes) plus the foundational work in a little less than 3 weeks. Everything was awesome - I don't think there is enough I could say about how good of a job Tom and his crew did. The precision, quality, cost, speed, and responsiveness is unbeatable. If you need someone to do concrete work, landscaping, or plumbing, you need to call Tom. He'll give you an honest, fair assessment, and if you hire him, you will not be disappointed.
