Of the 5 who were interested and offered a bid, Inexpensive Tree Services replied and offered a bid that was within budget and could do the work in a time frame that was very reasonable. They did arrive a bit early, 730am, so I scrambled to contact my neighbors to apologize for working noise. I was pleased the crew held off using the extra noisy machinery until later in the morning, much appreciated! I offered the team a cooler full of refreshments, sweet and salty treats, water and Gatorade and was pleased they enjoyed the spread. What a way to make friends. They worked to get my trees in shape and ready for the after Christmas lemon harvest. Clean up was swift and apart from a few rogue lemons that rolled under cars, my yard looked great. They're not accepting credit cards right now, but Zelle worked for us. Forgoing the credit card points for a service that was priced just right was well worth it. My next yard project is almost ready for attention and for sure I'll be calling the team at Inexpensive Tree Services again.

Eric is amazing - extremely responsive, always willing to work with my schedule (sometimes he's willing and able to show up sooner than I'm actually prepared for and I have to ask him to delay a day or three!), and on a few occasions (including the most recent one), I've asked him at the last minute to add something and he's always happy to do it. Pricing is competitive. Of course, any time you're dealing with trees, you're looking at more money than you'd like to spend, but at this point, I no longer call anyone else because not only do I trust I'm getting a good price, but I also know that I will also get excellent service on all counts. He also shows up with his crew to touch base with the homeowner, which is a touch I've always appreciated. And to that end, his crews are always on time, professional, work incredibly efficiently (and effectively!), and clean up to the point you'd never know they were there. If any business owner out there needs some advice on how a company should be run, give Eric a call for some tips. Last Friday, a tree on my property abruptly fell (partially). I texted him a picture out of nowhere, asking if he could help. He was here within a couple of hours (didn't even ask for my address - granted, it was in our text history, but still!), confirmed for me the tree was dead, chopped the 12'+ fallen branch blocking my front porch and moved it to the side, and had his crew here on Monday (right on time, of course) to remove the branch as well as the tree itself. They also removed a small tree elsewhere on the property that I added onto the job at the last minute. I'm sad about the first tree going (not at all sad about the second; I'd just been thinking an hour before the tree in front fell that I HATED the one in the back - kismet), but as always, Octavio's came in clutch. They didn't show up, and I received a text at 11:50pm if the appointment could be pushed from 2-3pm same day. I don't live at the location. If they knew they were running late, they could've communicated this earlier , not waited until our almost two hour time span was up . Beyond unprofessional and have no care for the potential clients time . I don't recommend based on the fact they're not reliable and lack communication skills.
