I called Tony about a quote, he asked me to text him our address info and said he'd get back with…read moreus. It took him 1.5 weeks to get back with me, and he told us he'd be out that morning after 2 other jobs and we agreed on terms and a price (all via text so I have proof). He didn't show up and later texted and asked if he could come the next day instead. He seemed nice enough when he showed up - we were outside most of the time he was here. My husband wrapped things up with him at the end. It turns out he did not finish the job. He refused to mark the back of our property (which was part of our agreed upon terms). We asked him to come out and finish the job and instead of doing so he argued with us via text and then said "I'll give you your check back." My husband then decided he'd give him a call to try to get him to just finish the job. We didn't want our money back, we just wanted him to do the work he was paid for. A few moments later I get a knock on the door and Tony shoves my check in my face and leaves. It turns out my husband was in the process of calling him when he was walking up to our door. Instead of discussing things with us he came on our property without our permission or knowledge, removed all his stakes and some of our original markers from the builder, and then gave the check back to me. I'm not sure why someone first of all would refuse to finish a job and then be so rash to come undo hours of work like that without discussing it first. What a waste of time!!
