We shared many dishes: Bastilla (baked layers of filo dough, eggs, chicken, almonds, sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar); hummus (chickpeas, tahini, crushed garlic, lemon juice, sprinkled with paprika and olive oil, served with pita bread); Spanakopita; salad trio (eggplant salad, cucumber and tomato salad, and carrot salad); lamb tagine (stew of lamb, onions, and roasted peppers topped with honey and served with rice); Moroccan chicken with harissa cumin sauce; mujaddara (cracked bulgur wheat cooked with lentils and caramelized onions); and mint tea. I wish they didn't serve bottled waters, and the food was mostly good but not the most consistent. I loved that you can't tell how amazing it's going to be inside when you see the outside of the building - it's a surprise for sure. I don't know if Dan is the owner, but he is the super friendly and professional, and has even given me samples of shisha and different types of coals to try before buying the whole pack. Their food is awesome and their sound system lets you plug your phone in to play your own music, which no other lounge lets you do. And they also accept Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. I could have a cigarette and be warm in the winter. However, Vinny kicked me out because I said cigarette and actually laid his hands on me! I called 911. I am a disabled 65 year old woman and he assaulted me because he can't take a joke. I hope that Du sees this and knows that I only came in to extend my condolences on the loss of his Mother.
