It's beautiful, and something that has been on my wish list for some time. However, it has some surface cracks, and after researching online I discovered it can be fixed with the correct heat resistant products. Although Lowes "claims" to have these items according to their website, we could not find them at the store, and their employees didn't know of their existence. A stone supplier could only sell me a 50 lb bag which is overkill and than some. Just when I was about to abort the mission and accept that my purchase was going to be nonfunctional a coworker suggested Stermer's, who several years earlier sold him a similar product in a small quantity. I called to inquire and spoke to Jim, who was knowledgeable and very helpful and together we choose the right product for the project. When I arrived later in the day to pick up, not only was it ready and waiting for me, but Jim actual turned out to be someone I knew professionally from a previous job. Aside from having a lovely chat, I was happy to have found the product I needed at a price that still justified that my second hand chimenea is still a good purchase. AND I now have a resource to go for other grill/fireplace/firepit/chimenea needs. 4 stars only because they didn't update their page, and because the "showroom" could have been nicer and more enticing and have a better display layout. The place could use a woman's touch, but since it's an industry that probably is more suited to males, they probably don't even notice. And, more importantly, very little information concerning chimney condition and integrity of interior lining. Received proposal to Replace chimney Crown, Flashing, power wash and seal bricks. Estimated at a little over $4,000. The Technician that came to my home was polite and professional. I did watch as they worked -- cleaning fireplace, did not see them inspect interior of Chimney. Technician also showed me random photos from internet of Chimney stack (above roof) tops to explain issues with "crown" but did not show me pictures of my chimney. Then he went to truck and returned with tablet (ipad?) to have me sign and pay inspection bill. Said I would receive inspection report and a proposal for recommended work via e-mail.
