Had a new rest put on my bow, after watching a tech and the owner fiddle with it for hours I finally get it back and within two weeks the cable set up for the rest shreds down to a thread resulting in damage to bow cables. If I hadn't noticed the damage and shot another arrow or two it could've resulted in even more damage to my bow and a wild arrow being sent down range. When brought into shop questioning how this brand new rest install may have broken and damaged my property, owner insisted I was questioning his knowledge and attempting to argue with him. Persisted to call my rest garbage and claim I was attempting to argue with him. "Why would you put this garbage rest on your bow" "do you put bows together everyday?" "You shouldn't question my knowledge" owner also mentioned under his breath as he was working on my bow how he "couldn't wait to get the fuck out of here" I attempted to be as level headed as one could be when treated like a nuisance but resulted in taking my things and walking out of the store unassisted and displeased. Incredibly unprofessional and downright unsettling to treat a customer and fellow archer this way. I will never return to this shop again and I urge you to seek greener pastures with more understanding bow shops in your future.

I tried out both the ropes-course and the Falconry Experience. First, the ropes-course was a fun activity where you climbed on different events. At the end, you got to do a zip line! While the ropes-course was fun it was nowhere near as amazing as the Falconry Experience. The Experience allowed you to see falcons in action and eventually you get to hold one! While I signed up for the kayaking, I was unfortunately unable to do so because of the rain. I found the cancellation somewhat ridiculous as it was only drizzling, but at least they called somewhat early. All the staff here was really nice and informative! Paul, Jack and Marc were especially great! Altogether, this is a great place to sign-up for a variety of fun activities.

After months of researching and figuring out what bow I wanted, a bunch of archery friends told me to go to Landcaster Archery Supply in PA. While a bit of a drive the business is so good that it's worth a trip across state lines to visit. All the employees working there are extremely knowledgeable about archery. Whether it's compound, recurve, or crossbow. If you're trying to buy your first bow and don't know things like your draw distance and weight the technician will spend extensive time working with you to ensure your bow is built for your use. There's also an archery range inside the store that goes to I believe 20 yards (there's another one outside in a different building as wel). The place can get busy depending on what day you visit especially during hunting season but trust me when I say the wait will always be worth it given the service. The store is always rubbing deals too. I usually get a small discount on something because of the deals they run. Can't recommend Landcaster Archery Supply enough!

Went in to Baker's archery supply to pick up my new Hoyt RX1. Walked in and was greeted by the…read morestaff. Troy, JP and Jason were super polite and made me feel right at home. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and super patient. Troy set up my bow and I could not be happier! We made sure that the bow was set up and in time before taking my first shot. We shot the bow through paper twice and both of them were perfect bullet holes right off the bat. While Troy set it all up for me, JP made sure I didn't have any questions and carried conversation with me. The whole team made this experience absolutely wonderful. I am a big fan of shopping local and small. This happened to fit both of those criteria's. I will most definitely be back to visit!
