There is a huge staircase to get up to the speakeasy once you find the red door. The website says there is an elevator if needed. Once inside, you will immediately get the speakeasy vibe with the moody and dark decor, as well as the period appropriate lighting and seating options. There's some small intimate areas, as well as a main bar, a side seating bar area, and a back area with tables and chairs. I would recommend reservations. You can pick the bar or lounge when making reservations on their website. From the moment you enter, you will get terrific service. The host was great and we were early for our reservation, but we were seated at the bar as requested. As soon as we sat down, the bartender greeted us with waters and a sample of a bourbon punch. The entire visit was filled with very attentive staff who were always friendly and knowledgeable about the offerings on the menu. The drinks are well thought out and very good. The quality of the ingredients, as well as the flavor profiles work well. It is very difficult to pick from their crafty menu. We tried a total of 4 drinks and all were delicious. Highly recommend the Papucho - such an excellent mix of flavors that are well balanced and a very unique flavor. Honestly, not sure you will find one drink on this menu that isn't delicious. They do offer a menu of various foods. We ordered the octopus and the roasted monk fish. Both were fantastic. The servings are not big so be prepared to order dental dishes or just come with the intention of not getting a massive meal. They are good portions for a small dinner or think tapas. The only issue we have every time we go is that they unfortunately always run out of a few dishes on the menu (and always seems to be the ones we want)! In addition, calling the restaurant has been difficult, it has often gone straight to voicemail for me. For that reason make sure to make reservations ONLINE (that has never failed). Come EARLY if you want to ensure you'll get a menu item (we often get there around 8 pm or later, some menu items always run out for us). Regardless, this doesn't stop us from coming!

I went during the busiest time and still had enough room and equipment to get through my workout. Everyone seemed to be cleaning their machines after each use. The atmosphere was great. After…read moremoving to Lancaster from D.C., I was looking for something to replace a great boot camp I had gone to in the past to get in shape for my wedding. No gyms in the area seemed to have what I was looking for, or they were way too expensive. I am someone who finds it hard to get motivated to work out regularly, and even if I do manage to drag myself onto the treadmill, I don't push myself as hard as I should. As for strength training, forget it-- I was way too clueless and intimidated to get into an effective routine on my own. Enter Mickey and No Pink Dumbbells boot camp. This is the first time I have ever looked forward to working out. I am seeing great results, but I like that the emphasis is on being able to do more during the workouts and feeling healthier and stronger, not on losing weight. The other people there are all shapes and sizes with varying fitness levels, and although I feel a healthy competition because I'm a competitive person, Mickey reminds us to compete only with ourselves and to challenge ourselves. I really like that. The group atmosphere is friendly and supportive, but folks are there to work up a good sweat. It's a perfect balance. The workouts are intense, which I love because I always leave feeling accomplished, but they are easily tailored to individual needs. This class fits all ages and sizes and we bond as a group. I've never been bored once because it's never the same. Mickey puts a ton of time and effort into her program. She inspires and encourages us to work harder and not to give up. And here I still am a much happier and more self-confident person. I love that my son told me one day "mom you can tell that you workout, look at your arms!" If you dedicate yourself to this program your body and soul will love you!
